Unbelievably valuable tips and tricks for those of us who buy, repurpose and sell thrifted items! My head was spinning, while you shared gem after gem about how to treat thrifted items. What a great video! You definitely have a new subscriber!
I'm not a reseller, but I listened to all of your tips anyway! You are a wealth of information, and I'm sure you have helped so many people who have watched this by what you have shared!
Also for scuffs on shoes or purses/ bags I love magic erasers. I also love tinted boot polish to restore leather on bags or shoes and a coat of mink oil on top …
Just found your channel. Subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more videos. I have been spraying isopropol alcohol on thrift store clothing to eliminate that thrift store smell. So far, so good. I might try spraying with vodka to compare the results. I may or may not follow up by laundering with scent-free laundry detergent. Steaming is optional, also. Thank you!
Thank you for the step by step detail items you listed. Am just a k-grade single mom taking notes. Am about to take this steps in doung this and am learning from you alot.
I love love love your slats of wood on your floor idea! Wow lightbulb moment...bcz the picture taking portion of reselling is my LEAST favorite for sure. Where can I get a used mannequin?
so I'm a little stage frightened to sell online idk why I've never tried even thought I've bought things intentionally to sell online and I'm just hording them in my closet now Thank you for the inspo
Just want to say thank you so much for the information it’s all very helpful. I am afraid of getting bedbugs if I do not wash everything but you said you don’t so I’m guessing you don’t have the same concern?
Very good! Thank you. Question about the steamer---that's pretty hot, moist air---won't it hurt delicate fabrics? I thought that was why they needed to be dry cleaned. I have avoided buying dry clean items!
If the fabric is delicate I lightly steam by holding it out away from the fabric, just enough for the steam to hit it. I have steamed wedding gowns before.
Good afternoon ...I enjoy your tips as I am a small non profit I love to gift donated items to sponsors . I get small coach wristlet and wallets . I am ordering the Blue Coral but I have a question . The small corners of a wristlet is dirty ...what would you suggest to clean the edges of it...please also your e bay site so I can check it out ...I see you do response so thank you ❤️ so much ....
Hi, thank you for this info! Do you have any info on how to get permanent marker off the lining in purses? My thrift store sometimes writes the price on the fabric. thank you!
I am very disappointed with Consignment stores numerous years. I buy from a wide variety of second hand clothing and have been generally satisfied. But trying to sell my new and good condition items at a reasonable price has been very disappointing and disturbing. I am black and have witnessed a white person ahead of me with less quality items be accepted but not my items more than I care to admit. Now, I will try online blind sell and see the results. I truly enjoy this hobby and want to become successful making all parties Happy!
Do you need to obtain permission from Levi to sell those jeans? I want to sell thrifted clothes on my online store but I don't want to do anything illegal.
No need to get permission - if you were selling ONLY Levi items and I mean hundreds of them.. they might wonder where you got so many items of their brand (and it’d be a good investment creating/ getting protected under a LLC, in that case.)

Persil is the best detergent to get the goodwill "smell" out of it. Customers love clean smelling clothing!
