I am genuinely shocked.

when he placed the HQ down randomly I was about to hop off, but then he read the modifiers and actually had a good idea as to what the scenario entails... my god, it was amazing. He actually has a good idea as to what he is doing... was enjoyable to watch, even if a bit of a longer video.

I think infamy was correctly spelled but misused. The scenario creator probably wanted to emphasise that these soldiers are good at fighting organized crime and used the word infamy to refer to their reputation
Edit: Also The way the national soldier divisions work is they have interconnected values to the initiatives... (e.g. the magnus legion *initiative* would add to the global national strength (the training of the unit is not the trigger)

Also, i do understand your point about the reading of modifiers slowing the start down.
However, given your penchant for, well, not knowing WTF is going on on certain maps, it can also serve to make the entire video more enjoyable, as you have a better idea of whats going on and spend less time going through modifiers.
Oh, and the first screen that comes up when you click into the iniatives tab has all the modifiers and the descriptions listed on it. A quick scroll through that can speed things up a bit, as big writing equals fast reading.

Pravus, we don`t want you to spend 10 minutes reading all of the modifiers. We just want YOU to read them, because each time you are like "Why did this happen? whats going on? The game is bugged I think.." and so on, when all you had to do is READ. THE. MODIFIERS. YOURSELF.
No, I actually want him to read the modifiers to us too. The viewers who don't, can just skip ahead a bit when he gets to that part of the video. For me, the modifier reading is part of the fun.

Ok, am I the only one who thinks this scenario was probably not made with normal difficulty in mind? I think this might have been much more interesting on mega brutal. Also if he actually spent money at the end instead of saving it.
Also, he completely missed that there were "key initiatives" that apparently were on some of them. Telecoms 2, for instance, can be seen to have this at 20:36.

I tried the scenario myself and the key initiatives unlock little rewards when you buy all of them in the one branch by giving you some funds and reputation.
Wow even when he finds out drone's are very good from the freking dev he still fails to use them. At least he read the modifier's!

So happy that Pravus is finally reading modifiers - I kind of get the reasoning for not, but the rest of the video is so much better when he knows what's going on. Now I just wish he'd start playing on Brutal.
Dear Pravus,
If you wish to compromise on the Modifier Issue, you could load the scenario in advance, read the modifiers, and then only mention the ones that significantly change gameplay when you start recording. My contention isn't so much not reading it, but you missing on key information that would lead to you making better decisions during actual play.

The soldiers got HOCs and enemy is Sangvis. Add KCCO and Paradeus to make multi-side conflict.

Infamy isn't a misspelling.
Infamy means to do something bad or immoral. Or something that is well known to be of bad quality.
I think what the author meant is that those units fight corruption, and underground black markets etc.
I love how he broke hos voice when he placed his HQ on a very hostile sector.

You can place you hq very agressiv, I have done it alot of times. All you need to NOT do is to place soldiers in you hq right away, if you do so, the ambush will trigger and the nighmare begins. Just wait until you have enought soldier to gain victory over the spawning insurgence

Five minutes of reading stuff beats an entire video you struggling needlessly! We're yelling for you as much as we are for us - if you miss a key aspect of a scenario, you're not really showing off the scenario then, you're going "why doesn't this work??" for 20 minutes of a 30 minute video. I'll take a couple minutes of reading and strategizing over that any day my friend!

I had the same issue with a zone draining reputation before. Turns out it's a Poppy Field but the game doesn't show the icon sometimes for whatever reason. Moving soldiers to it destroys it as usual but I had it occur multiple times in the same zone
This looks like a very good and interesting scenario, I think the creator would benefit from collaborating with someone who knows English a bit better to make it a little clearer what's going on.

There are two possibilities if you see a word you dont recognize:
1) the author has a better English
2)the author has a worse English

there is a second capital state scenario, i personally want to see you try your hand at it as i have yet to beat it
I've tried that one myself and it's pure, unfiltered chaos. It's different from regular Rebel inc but a nice change of pace.
I think the individual echelons give buffs to all of the soldiers as the game does not provide the ability to create unique soldier buffs without specialists and I don't think the specialists can be custom made aswell.
Sangvis? Is that supposed to be a girls frontline reference?

How about reading them but not showing it in the video? The infuriating part is that these scenarios change things, but you don't know it, since you don't read it and then make mistakes that you could've avoided.
But some of us like knowing the modifiers as viewers. I like him reading them to us. It doesn't take all that long, and if some viewers don't want that, they can easily skip ahead a bit. This way gives everyone the option.

ye ,if it relates to the REAL LIFE EMU WAR XD of australia ,it was highly likely a hillarious bit of combined real life history and example of ''even powerful tools might not be 'cost effective' every time
and the scenario basicly SCREAMS! '''ALREADY LONG TERM LARGE SCALE WAR''...what could possssibly go wrong with slapping your HQ down in an area right next to what is the confirmed hostile controlled region as you been EXPLICITLY told your side already been grinding at them for a while and yet they havent buckled and is grinding back at you..could it possibly mean there just miiiiiiiight be some infrastructure or already present forces of thers near the areas they secured at the very minimum or possibly outright standing forces with fresh reinforcements at any moment getting ready to attack ..much like you been sent as the last ''this is all umpf we can spare without other front lines starting to buckle'' ? ^^

i mean could you legally sue us? we've quite literally hear you complain time and time again about some of these scenarios being unfair yet you haven't even checked the modifiers. at this point we just want you to see the modifiers so you can at least get some info and know what your gonna do
