Want to see the behind the scenes of my freelance and creator business AND watch me succeed or fail with future challenges? I'm sharing it all in my Freelance Creator Files newsletter here: shop.askelna.com/products/freelance-creator-insights
I am a new Freelance Copywriter and found your channel by looking for examples of what to put on my website's portfolio page. This has helped tremendously.
Elna , I am a new freelance copy writer and I am so happy to come across someone, completely unselfish like you. Thank you. Omonigho Efe-votu, Nigeria.
Hi Elena, do you have any advice on how to find in-house Copywriting jobs at a publishing company? I feel like I have a decent grasp of the copywriting basics now and I've practiced for a few months too. I think should be ready for a basic Jr copywriter job at a company. I want the stability of a job over the freedom of freelancing at the moment. However, the majority of copywriting advice online is for freelance work. Do you have any experience with in-house? If yes, what would be the ideal approach for me?
I don't have experience with in house companies. What I would do is find "copywriting jobs" on LinkedIn as most, if not all, are NOT freelance. I also have a video on platforms you can try and some of those are copywriter friendly. th-cam.com/video/I3gAk8-LenY/w-d-xo.html
Hello Elena Cain the question is, I have been living in Moscow and if my friend who lives in U. S pays this course can I get access or they are some Sanctions on Russians? Thank you
The course is for anyone in the world but some of the tools or tactics may not be suitable for you. For example, I say to use PayPal for invoicing, you may not be able to. It's not ideal for the US course buyer to share her access but it is up to them.
You mentioned email copywriting; I've been looking for resources on offering newsletter writing to small businesses and not finding much. LOTS of info out there on how to write and operate a newsletter subscription business, but not much on freelance newsletter writing i.e. weekly newsletter for the local organic produce market. Most of the blogs and videos want to go down the email marketing funnel "rabbit hole" and push template packages etc. I just want to know how to write a good newsletter. Any suggestions? BTW, I am a WT1K student and can't remember if this is covered in the course or not. 🤪
Yea sorry about that. I do have a blog post on this that might help: elnacain.com/blog/how-to-write-an-email/ Also, sign up to various newsletters in your niche. See what other companies are writing about and use that as a template.
