Mt Lady has honestly one of the best developments for a side character. In the early episodes, I thought she was just in for the freebies and etc. But she seriously suprised me by being one of the few heroes who didn't quit.

As he is getting younger it seems he is also starting to feel the feelings he felt at those ages like how he explains he has this uncontrollable darkness in him that is rising up and he’s just going to let go. In his age he tamed and mastered this darkness but in his youth he was a monster with no restraint
When Hawks said "your quirks are treated as external", what he meant was that they aren't boosted by rewind. Otherwise, AfO would have grown full wings thanks to rewind, but instead he only took the small wings that hawks had at the moment. Shame, cause his current look (young, shirtless, black ripped skirt, gold energy) + red blood wings? Full Angel of Death fit.
No, he was referring to the fact he can even TAKE and KEEP quirks and they simply don’t get rewound into nothing along with all his other stocked quirks. That’s why he said crap, or “load of crap” in the manga.

They showed the kids from 2nd movie that were on the island Class 1-A was protecting. Also they showed some characters from the third movie(the one where Deku was fighting that Genie looking reflective dude). Lastly, apparently they showed characters from the new movie but I don't know anything about that movie lol

This episode, Shigaraki breaking free and Nagant coming back are all situations AFO thought he had full control over that ended up backfiring on him. He manipulated and left Nagant for dead. She blows off his hands. He manipulated Shigaraki for his plans. Shigaraki rebels. He intentionally left Machia behind to "teach Tomura the pain of loss". Machia throws a mountain at him. Machia is also one of the few able to handle multiple quirks without modification(OFA and AFO not included) and is now the only other person aside from Deku to resist brainwashing. He's got that dog in him. Literally. We also see how much of a crutch Shigaraki's hatred is for AFO. He needs his hatred to theoretically be able to steal OFA. And now that same hatred is actually making AFO's quirks stronger as he gets younger. AFO likes to say that Shigaraki is just the other him and that he's the one actually running things. But a huge chunk of AFO's plan and him being able to basically one shot everyone at Gunga is BECAUSE of Shigaraki's immense hate.

It just could be so much better if they had consistently good animation, I get that there's budget constraints and you have to save for the bigger moments but maybe it would help if you weren't also animating a whole movie on the side. I still love what's going on but it's just disappointing sometimes.
I think All For One got stronger as he got younger because of his connection to Shigaraki; he no longer had the calm, level-headedness that he gained from age. AFO didn't even know he could be that strong, but just like Shiggy (possilibly through a situation like the vestiges; we've already seen an AFO vestige in Shiggy), as he gives into his feelings of rage and hatred (though losing precise control), he draws overwhelming strength from it.
Ofc whenever a situation seems to be going in the favor of the heros SOMETHING always has to go wrong for AFO and the league to get the upper hand. To be honest I completely forgot about almost everything this episode that was referenced from the manga aside from Hawks losing his quirk Gigantomachia getting involved in the fight but other than that everything felt new to me and it was an experience to watch thats for sure (Also side note I love that this episode had the little cameos of the different characters from the movies including the two in the fourth one that released in japan over a month ago and will release in the US on October 11th)
Anyone who has read the manga, or watched the preview knows. I'm literally sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode. It's actually gonna be insane. I would argue it might become one of the best episodes in the series, just because of what it'll entail.
Mt Lady has always been so good. E1 S1 was literally her first day as a pro hero and she's still out here fighting while people in the top 10 have even retired after Shigi's destruction. Anytime a crazy arc is happening she's there helping. If she dies I'm going to be devastated so I'm kind of happy AFO flew away even though it sucks he got Hawks quirk.
