    EXPLANATION:
“Хрен” - Literal meaning: a horse radish{plant}. So there is actually nothing wrong about this word because it is a plant we make sauche from.
But it serves as an euphemism for another strong swear word, which signifies a male reproductive organ.

    EXPLANATION:
Therefore, since Хуй->X**”{dick} is a very strong 3 letters swear word, people started to use “Хрен” as it’s euphemism. There is nothing that can stop Russian people from swearing.

How to swear in Russian. Learn the origin of Russian curse words and have fun with Russian movies and TV-series. This video is made not to encourage you to swear in Russian but to undestand the real meaning of these words and to see in which situations they are usually applied.

    noun: euphemism; plural noun: euphemisms

“Блин!”{CRAP blin}-original meaning is actually a “pancake”. So, I guess, you are wondering, why do Russian people say a “pancake” to express some emotions. So, actually, when we express emotions, we use the second meaning of this word which is “ Damn!/Crap!. Furthermore, this word is a euphemism that is used to replace a strong word : Бл*дь {Blyad' } often shortened to just:
    Бл* {Bl*}.
Literal meaning: a wh*re. The original meaning refers to a woman of an ancient profession. It is mostly used as exclamation, somewhat similar to F*ck or Sh*t and it is very rude.

    EXPLANATION:
“Тебе капец!”= Тебе конец!> Tebe konets! {It’s a game over for you, you are dead}.
In fact, it is neither a swear word nor a euphemism. It’s origin is simply
“Конец”, which meant in the past “the end”.

“Пипец !”{pipets}- This word is also quite multifunctional. It means:
This sucks! No way! It’s a catastrophe!
It has almost the same meaning as “капец!” . However, in this case it is a euphemism of a rude swear word: П*здец{pizdets}=F***cked up!; which originates from a word that signifies a female reproductive organ.
*Euphimism= a mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one, considered to be too harsh/blunt when referring to something unpleasant.
    П*здец{pizdyets} means Damin it!/It’s a complete disaster!
You won’t hear this word on TV as it is prohibited. It is used as an exclamation to describe a situation that went really wrong.
