The end credits makes even more sense and hurts so much more after completing all the endings for PL. Such a beautiful but rightfully depressing credits scene. 10/10 CDPR.

These credits amplified the pain i felt after the ending. I sided with reed, saved songbird and got the gaurantee of the help i needed. Despite all of that i sat there for half an hour reflecting on it. Id say this sequence made that reflection last 25 mins longer than it wouldve without it
Wow we are polar opposites. I was so pissed off at Reed and the NUSA during the airport incident that I shot Reed like a dog. Turns out he only dies in one shot and has a dramatic death where he kneels by So-Mi but I fired off three revolver shots so he just fell dead and I sent So-Mi to the moon. I wanted nothing to do with the government, and I would have sided with Berghast if given the chance if it helped So-Mi.
I did everything to help Songbird short of shooting Reed. Which I felt was very tragic because the last words my V told her was that she didnt forgive her for lying about the cure, but she would 100% still have gotten her onto the ship. Presumebly meaning that Songbird thinks that V betrayed her because she was honest rather than because she couldnt kill Reed.

This whole story really got me interested in Cyberpunk lore. Love how even in a techno sci-fi universe something like the black wall can have such a mystical and mysterious presence.
The only thing stopping him is being old…like he is really old, I dunno if he can do the whole Bond rizz. But I’d love to see him in a more serious spy thriller.
I have to say, my favorite part is the exchange between Hansen and Myers. It shows their dynamic excellently. Hansen, a man trying to play the game, and Myers, who's always in control of it. That damn *smirk* man.
The mission in which you infiltrate the Casino is named " You know my name " which is the song that plays at the end of 'Casino Royale', Daniel Craig's first Bond movie and arguably the best one.
I sent her to the stars. Despite everything. Despite the betrayal. Despite the lies. I couldn't bring myself to hate her for it. Angry, yes. But understanding. "I would've helped you anyway." Was the truth. She's been dealing with this problem far longer then V's been dealing with her own. Robbed of a normal childhood. Robbed of a normal life. Turned into a living weapon more then a living being and was only seen as a tool rather then a person by the government that used her. Given a death sentence and yet even if they healed her, they'd put her back to work. So she did what she had to. To escape. To survive. To be free. And I understood her. And I forgave her. Reed was so hinged on Songbird. He cared for her, to a point where it felt like an obsession to me. Wanted to save her but also wanted to serve his country, despite how it treated his comrades. I felt horrible putting that bullet in his head, but he refused to decide between his friends and his country. He wanted both, despite whatever costs that would take. I could've reloaded, gone back to get the other endings. Still could. But I dunno. I think i'm ok with the ending I got. Oh. And then I did the one thing i had been saving for last; Don't Fear The Reaper. Felt like a damn good way to finish after everything. And then I got the Tempest ending.
This DLC and the reinvention of cyberpunk is a masterclass by CD Projekt Red. Hands down the best DLC I’ve ever played and truly rivals any complete game. In my opinion Phantom Liberty is a better experience than the main storyline

Idk why, but i decided that the worst ending ( they are all sad in reality) where we let so mi die is the cannon one, nc, cyberpunk 2077 world never has a happy ending, even netflix show taught us that, and ending credits are perfect conclusion for it

SAME Im usually so quick to slam that skip button lol but the music and vibe kicked in and I was staring at my screen in disbelief of the craftsmanship on display. You know when the moment that if the credits start and they give you chills, this was a hell of a story, the way this dlc plays psychologically with you is amazing…making you chose between two sides all the time.
After thinking a lot about this, I've come to the conclusion that saving So Mi is the good ending after all. Even though Reed dies by your hand, he is the one to pull the trigger, methaphorically speaking. He decides to wait for you at that space shuttle, because he can't live with the possibility of failing his ideals and still keep living. As Johnny says in the other ending, Reed is a man who will follow his ideals blindly, even if that means trumpling everyone that is close to him in the process. He is also a man who thinks he can control everything, and that's why he feels responsible for everything. Even when Myers clearly forces Songbird to betray him, he thinks its his fault. He just can't see that being loyal to a fascist government and respecting one's individuality are things that will never mix. Reed truly dies being crushed by two walls: the loyalty to his ideals and his desire to protect his friends. He should've chosen one path long ago, but even after 7 ears, he was not able to.
I disagree with other commenter that So Mi is just a rogue AI by the point we leave her. I dont think its implied but definitely left open to interpretation. More importantly I think if you LIKE both So Mi and Reed the only logical thing to do is kill him. If you hand over So Mi she’s likely to be imprisoned both physically and mentally if not killed after having her system scanned. Reed is also VERY likely to just be disposed of after he finishes his mission here, idk where his “uwu myers likes me” comes from she literally already tried to off him once. I haven’t done any ending but saving So Mi yet so idk, but I can’t see V having a good ending(after choosing So Mi initially) Myers doesn’t seem like that. Maybe if you ALWAYS side with NUSA but they don’t seem the type to forgive and forget nor live and let live

I can’t bring myself to help Songbird. There’s so much collateral damage involved in that path. Indiscriminate massacres at the stadium and the spaceport. Songbird is desperate, but the fact that she has nothing to offer in return for her escape forces me to consider what makes her life worth more than so many other bystanders. The hard truth is that no one owes anything to Songbird except pity. Pity only gets you so far.
I got the songbird ending where I let her leave with the cure and killed reed, it’s my favorite ending, even though song lied she spent her entire adult life around selfish greedy political faces and blindly loyal soldiers, she trusted V but didn’t want to risk her only shot to live by telling V she was only in it for herself, even though V would help her regardless because they care about so mi , at least that’s how my V was
In between the casting of Idris Elba as the superspy deuteragonist, the whole "You Know My Name" quest and the credits animation/theme, I'm starting to think that they may like the James Bond movies at CDPR...
Video game stories are really starting to transcend the medium. All too often, even good stories, they don't end up standing out as an interesting story seperate from the medium. Lots of films have done this, they stand out as great stories apart from the medium of film. But video games have really struggled to do this. I reckon Phantom Liberty really stands out in this regard.
I know CD Projekt Red is working on Cyberpunk 2 but damn, I just finished this great story expansion and I feel so empty now. I spent the last 3 Days playing Phantom Liberty and Jesus, it very well could’ve been a spin-off game as opposed to it being an Add-On expansion. And honestly, these end credits feel so much like a James Bond Opening Credits that had they played this at the start of the DLC Story, I wouldn’t have complained.
I was so iffy on buying this DLC. Mainly because I’ve always had a bad luck streak with every dlc I’ve ever bought. But this was one of those I couldn’t turn down, and I was right not to, best 30$ I’ve ever spent just to cry over the ending credits. I LOVED how this game worked and functioned, unlike any other open world rpg I’ve played.
I got no music, my game glitched out because Judy was at my V's apartment & my ending for Phantom Liberty puts V back at the apartment in the end. So the whole credits, I just kept hearing Judy going, "V? You good?" "Come on, V!" "Something wrong, V?" etc...
So the sequel will deal with the fall of Arasaka, the rise of Zetatech, the state of Dogtown after Kurt Hanson's death and quite possibly the rising tensions to/the fallout of the 5th corporate war. I'd also like to explore the state of the black wall after Songbird's tampering of it. Perhaps she opened a back door that Netwatch is desperately trying to close or is unaware of. Whether we're still playing as V or as a new protagonist, I hope to see V at some point. It would be a shame if they died off screen after everything we went through in 2077. I doubt we'll see Johnny or Reed again, except maybe as cameos or just mentioned in conversation. My biggest hope is that the sequel will remember your decisions from the first game. It'd feel weird if you were to have Rogue die in 2077 but she's still kicking in the sequel. It would really make the "choices matter" aspect of the game's branding hit harder than it did in 2077
I imagine at least _some_ of your hopes will come true. For example, with the Witcher games, CDPR made it so that you could import saves from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, so I imagine they’d do the same with Cyberpunk.

I picked this after choosing to kill Songbird. It really hits hard, especially when Myers knocks over her piece, as if she was nothing more than a pawn.
Would have been nice to put Myers down in the dlc. Felt pretty bad after realizing that only one who was happy after ”rescuing” SoMi was Myers herself. Maybe in the sequel?
Was with songbird till the end. Even after what she told me in the train. And Reed… consequences… he was told about it so many times. He made his choice when he started to count. And Johnny was damn right all the way.

As much as i wanted to help So Mi, i just couldn't. Her plan, her goal, i just couldnt trust that it was really the best fir her. I didnt know how much of her plan was So Mi, and how much was Songbird. Shes been getting eaten away by those AIs for years, and shes reached critical mass by now. Whatever plan she thought she had? It coulsnt have been good. Not for her soul. Not for the world. So, i sided with Reed. I know he thought he could save her, but i also knew he was too loyal to betray Myers and do what she really needed. So, i rekoved her from the situation entirely. No So Mi, means no Songbird. No Songbird means no walking WMD for Myers, and no doors opened for the Daemons past the Blackwall to take over. Even if it means V will still die, I couldnt let So Mi suffer. Nor the world.
The credits were unplayable for me. Failed to render and would consistently crash about a minute in, so thanks for the upload. My save file is bricked now lol thanks CDPR

Man, this expansion was amazing. Cyberpunk turned into suge a huge W in the end. I really wish we could get more V, but I totally get that his story is over.

You know when the moment that if the credits start and they give you chills, this was a hell of a story, the way this dlc plays psychologically with you is amazing…making you chose between two sides all the time.

Idc what anybody says, this is one of the best DLC’s I’ve ever played.
Man, it’s so Bond.
After thinking a lot about this, I've come to the conclusion that saving So Mi is the good ending after all. Even though Reed dies by your hand, he is the one to pull the trigger, methaphorically speaking. He decides to wait for you at that space shuttle, because he can't live with the possibility of failing his ideals and still keep living. As Johnny says in the other ending, Reed is a man who will follow his ideals blindly, even if that means trumpling everyone that is close to him in the process. He is also a man who thinks he can control everything, and that's why he feels responsible for everything. Even when Myers clearly forces Songbird to betray him, he thinks its his fault. He just can't see that being loyal to a fascist government and respecting one's individuality are things that will never mix. Reed truly dies being crushed by two walls: the loyalty to his ideals and his desire to protect his friends. He should've chosen one path long ago, but even after 7 ears, he was not able to.

I disagree with other commenter that So Mi is just a rogue AI by the point we leave her. I dont think its implied but definitely left open to interpretation.
More importantly I think if you LIKE both So Mi and Reed the only logical thing to do is kill him. If you hand over So Mi she’s likely to be imprisoned both physically and mentally if not killed after having her system scanned.
Reed is also VERY likely to just be disposed of after he finishes his mission here, idk where his “uwu myers likes me” comes from she literally already tried to off him once.
I haven’t done any ending but saving So Mi yet so idk, but I can’t see V having a good ending(after choosing So Mi initially) Myers doesn’t seem like that. Maybe if you ALWAYS side with NUSA but they don’t seem the type to forgive and forget nor live and let live

I can’t bring myself to help Songbird. There’s so much collateral damage involved in that path. Indiscriminate massacres at the stadium and the spaceport.
Songbird is desperate, but the fact that she has nothing to offer in return for her escape forces me to consider what makes her life worth more than so many other bystanders. The hard truth is that no one owes anything to Songbird except pity. Pity only gets you so far.

I got the songbird ending where I let her leave with the cure and killed reed, it’s my favorite ending, even though song lied she spent her entire adult life around selfish greedy political faces and blindly loyal soldiers, she trusted V but didn’t want to risk her only shot to live by telling V she was only in it for herself, even though V would help her regardless because they care about so mi , at least that’s how my V was
The care wasn't one-sided though. If So Mi didn't care about V, she would never tell V that the cure was only for one person.

In between the casting of Idris Elba as the superspy deuteragonist, the whole "You Know My Name" quest and the credits animation/theme, I'm starting to think that they may like the James Bond movies at CDPR...
Video game stories are really starting to transcend the medium. All too often, even good stories, they don't end up standing out as an interesting story seperate from the medium. Lots of films have done this, they stand out as great stories apart from the medium of film. But video games have really struggled to do this. I reckon Phantom Liberty really stands out in this regard.

I know CD Projekt Red is working on Cyberpunk 2 but damn, I just finished this great story expansion and I feel so empty now. I spent the last 3 Days playing Phantom Liberty and Jesus, it very well could’ve been a spin-off game as opposed to it being an Add-On expansion. And honestly, these end credits feel so much like a James Bond Opening Credits that had they played this at the start of the DLC Story, I wouldn’t have complained.

I was so iffy on buying this DLC. Mainly because I’ve always had a bad luck streak with every dlc I’ve ever bought. But this was one of those I couldn’t turn down, and I was right not to, best 30$ I’ve ever spent just to cry over the ending credits.
I LOVED how this game worked and functioned, unlike any other open world rpg I’ve played.

I got no music, my game glitched out because Judy was at my V's apartment & my ending for Phantom Liberty puts V back at the apartment in the end. So the whole credits, I just kept hearing Judy going, "V? You good?" "Come on, V!" "Something wrong, V?" etc...
Haha that's the same reason why I'm here too. Except it was Panam asking "what's up" while I'm trying to hold back tears

The only thing I hate is that it only shows female v, even though I chose male V
So the sequel will deal with the fall of Arasaka, the rise of Zetatech, the state of Dogtown after Kurt Hanson's death and quite possibly the rising tensions to/the fallout of the 5th corporate war. I'd also like to explore the state of the black wall after Songbird's tampering of it. Perhaps she opened a back door that Netwatch is desperately trying to close or is unaware of. Whether we're still playing as V or as a new protagonist, I hope to see V at some point. It would be a shame if they died off screen after everything we went through in 2077. I doubt we'll see Johnny or Reed again, except maybe as cameos or just mentioned in conversation. My biggest hope is that the sequel will remember your decisions from the first game. It'd feel weird if you were to have Rogue die in 2077 but she's still kicking in the sequel. It would really make the "choices matter" aspect of the game's branding hit harder than it did in 2077

I imagine at least _some_ of your hopes will come true. For example, with the Witcher games, CDPR made it so that you could import saves from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, so I imagine they’d do the same with Cyberpunk.
@@anomitasnot unrealistic, it’s called putting in the work and outlining the branches and tailoring the story through it. It might be hard but not fuckkn impossible. These developers are just lazy about shit like that nowadays
I picked this after choosing to kill Songbird.
It really hits hard, especially when Myers knocks over her piece, as if she was nothing more than a pawn.
Would have been nice to put Myers down in the dlc. Felt pretty bad after realizing that only one who was happy after ”rescuing” SoMi was Myers herself. Maybe in the sequel?

The only issue I have with Phantom Liberty is that Songbird and V should have been credited up there with Keanu and Idris, they all nailed it
Doesn't matter. Keanu and Idris are big stars whose faces were used in-game. Why would they credit some english voice actors specifically?

As much as i wanted to help So Mi, i just couldn't. Her plan, her goal, i just couldnt trust that it was really the best fir her. I didnt know how much of her plan was So Mi, and how much was Songbird. Shes been getting eaten away by those AIs for years, and shes reached critical mass by now. Whatever plan she thought she had? It coulsnt have been good. Not for her soul. Not for the world.
So, i sided with Reed. I know he thought he could save her, but i also knew he was too loyal to betray Myers and do what she really needed. So, i rekoved her from the situation entirely.
No So Mi, means no Songbird. No Songbird means no walking WMD for Myers, and no doors opened for the Daemons past the Blackwall to take over. Even if it means V will still die, I couldnt let So Mi suffer. Nor the world.
I find it funny that cdpr will take videos down with this song but won’t release it such a shame
