You guys are usually bang on but trading Lankinen if he's playing well is insane, first off what if Demko gets hurt before or during playoffs? Unless Silovs has vastly improved, especially at tracking the puck and the team in front of him is no longer basically throttling themselves to make it easier on Silovs.
Lankinen is better than Silovs and we already imo could very well have won. The cup with 908 sv%

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. Demko's knee will remain a question mark and trade values for backups are rarely of much note. If either of Lankinen or Silovs play well enough to get value back in a trade the Canucks won't have any desire to move off them unless the team's out of the playoffs race.
