Management is better than they've ever had 😊
This sounds like a re tool… you need assets for Brock and Miller. Maybe even Demko Crazy fall from last season
Miller plays his heart out, not perfect but a gamer forsure. Gives everything in the playoffs a player can give for his team and hes on his way out, while passenger Pete keeps cashing cheques. Hughes must be counting the days till he can walk from this mess.
6:52 The Canucks in-flight meal was fish or steak, and JPat had the lasagna.
the biggest problem for the Canucks is the media. They should just shut the f up. Enough already!
I'm still shocked that these guys making millions of dollars a year doing the thing that they love most in life can't put their differences aside for the common goal of winning a cup in Vancouver and basically becoming gods in this province? Just boggles the mind?
Boggles the pocketbook too 😅
*There was no wrestle match. McDavid went in for a bodycheck, as Garland was falling, he clutched onto McD's arm to drag him down with him. Then he never let go of McD's arm the entire time. McD was on top of Garland trying to get up but because his arm was being held, he was unable to. What looked like McDavid pinning Garland down was simply Garland trapping McD's arm so he couldn't get out. That's why McD was so frustrated at the end. He wanted nothing to do with Garland but wanted to get back into play to try to tie the game up. Garland was the one that did all the holding because he wanted to keep McD out of play as time was ticking.*
He dropped the puck then skated into a guy that was standing in the lane. That is interference not a body check you fool
That would be a weak interference call, but have you noticed that when the Canucks lose to the oilers they skate to the bench and the dressing room, the oilers lose to the Canucks, and it’s cross checking time as soon as the horn goes. Really oilers organization is the repeat offender here, even with mcD giving that shiv to johansen earlier in the week
Canucks need big guys who like to hit like Sherwood to protect Hughes and Petterson. Canuvks look weak out there!
What good is replaying the press questions when the viewer cant hear the questions!!
They’ve literally created this uncomfortable situation for everyone. They will be responsible for players not wanting to play in this market.
I trolled several Oilers podcasts on TH-cam and one in particular said McDavid shouldn't get anything, not even a fine and that Myers should get 5+ games. The co host said Garland deserved the cross check to the head. It was a SMART play by Garland
Why even waste your time hahaha. It’s just hockey.
He practiced today, he wasn't sick
Whenever you're forced to trade a player you rarely get equal value in return
Flagrant penalty by defending team in last 30 (?) seconds = a penalty shot Been said before...
Why do people think this is media generated?
It’s impressive how the media talks a lot about trades, about Petey, Miller and Boeser, but zero concrete information is provided. Just a frenzy of feeding on speculations.
Legit question: So sports media is reduced to reporting rumours and innuendo before something actually happens? Also Jeff said connect the dots, so which dots should we follow? Teach us how we should be connecting reports on the Canucks? How does this media thing work exactly?
Media needs to shut up
Fans like you dont help. get lost.
...as he tunes in to the media.
Chyt & a 1st Rdr in 2025 or 2026 (discretion goes to NYR, they get to choose which yr), sounds like a good deal to me
The refs might also had decided to let go Garland tying up McDavid because Pettersson had someone lay on top of him for about 10 seconds about a minute earlier.
The names in the supposed Rangers trade would have meant making Pius Suter the second-line centre. Something doesn't add up, unless a third team was involved.
Likely the first round draft pick was to be moved for another piece. But yes you're onto something
The fact that Boeser is not signed should make you assume he's not coming back. Write the season off to injuries and internal dysfunction. Trade Boeser, probably to Minnesota. Then trade Miller.
miller and petterson fr bedard and a good dman or pick
JT needs to be sent packing and tossed out the door. He is not a leader and he is a drama queen hiding it all behind this so called passionate play. He likes to rip into everyone when things are not going right. Maybe he should go learn from Barkov what great leadership is. Miller is toxic and a divisive player
These fkng loser podcast hosts/writers/broadcasters/youtubers ran out of shit to talk about and get clicks so, they’ve decided to blow up the team that waters their grass. Well. Done. P.S. the team also hasn’t done themselves any favours playing this way….
I don’t care about entertainment. You know what’s entertaining? Winning. Just win.
I’m not saying it is the right thing to do but I think they may blow this team up and rebuild
Petey quit on green, and Bruce had to build his confidence up, then Ep40 quit on Bruce and now Tocchet. Petey the coach killer 😅
He didn’t come back.
It's the players 😊
I can't believe we are here again mulling over selling the farm to fix this broken ass team. Get rid Miller, get at least something for Boesser and build around the two stars you have left. Or just get rid of the whole thing because I would like Hughes to at least excel somewhere. If we Raymond Bourque his ass I will be so unhappy.
this is why i unsubscribed to these hate mongers
Management changed 8 players and not all of them are working out. This is a management problem.
Go back to hockey school 🏫 management doing fine 😊
@ what’s the problem university hockey boy?
It's definitely not all on management. They made some incredible low cost signings. One thing is true though, they failed to provide Tocchet with adequate Dmen to compete
@ to tell the truth it’s hard to believe that the team has weathered the injuries as well as they have. The game against the Oilers showed we have the potential to contend.
They did the same thing to Boudreau. They gave him one good year, and then got him fired the next.
Tocc is fine it's the players.
Canucks fans who blame Tocchet are morons. Do these people not remember the makeup of the defence last year in comparison to this season? This is 100% on the bloated management team. Now it seems they are looking to keep Pettersson and his 11.6 million dollar salary over Miller. Considering Petey is currently being outscored by Debrusk, Boeser, Sherwood, Hughes, Garland and Suter…….they are taking a huge risk on an inconsistent player with questions surrounding work ethic (mid-season and off-season). I hope they stick with the status quo, it’s fun to watch this horribly run team get speed-bagged all season.
The commentary about Boeser is manufactured drama. Boeser isn't going to "Talk" about negotiations and the team has had other, bigger issues. And Kypreos is NOT a good source for all things Canucks.
i don’t hate the system i hate that he changes the lines CONSTANTLY. how are the players supposed to gain chemistry if they’re playing with new lines every single game
These media guys are the problem, truly
Tik Tok needs to adapt to today's game. His system worked last year because the team had the players to execute it. This year's D core is garbage and that is on management. Tocchet needs to let the offensive players play offense. He holds them back.
Didn't work with Green or Boudreau.....can't have them playing pond hockey with no structure and hoping Demko of old ( who he isn't anymore even ) can bail them out......
@canadiantraveller281 that's true but all of the above listed teams had a shit D core
S&P stirring the pot and encouraging all this insane reactionary toxic fan BS! We hit a speedbump and it's " trade everyone, fire the coach " It is completely nuts , we don't just jump ship mid season, at least we play it out and regroup in the summer, like an intelligent management should.
chip and dump and chase, can only take you so far.. if your skilled players can only dump the puck in, and never get controlled entries, you will have issues.
Making 11 million a year, 5th highest paid in the league, and not producing a single goal or points In many games is unreal to me. Canucks have majoré problems, JT, Pete, Brock, that’s over $26million in cap space not doing jack shit. I am surprised we are even in a conversation for playoffs
He just hasn’t been able to learn and take accountability. His post game interviews drive me crazy. He acts like a petulant child. Step up, be a man and drive the play.
Petey is going to be great. Your statement reeks of not knowing the market/game or team dynamics. Theres alot BS swirling around this team thanks to JT, when he is gone all will be fine.
@@Gavinskeyexplain to us how, because you may not see eye to eye with a teammate, this absolutely crushes your sense of competitiveness, your ability to shoot, move your feet, etc? If anything, it should be motivating him to play better for the simple reason of having management keep him instead of JT. That isn’t the case.
@Pfgerbilss you have no idea about team psychology or sports psychology. Locker room dynamics is a real thing. I'll eat my words if Petey is still an average scorer when/if JT is gone. I'm confident that wont the case though.
@@Gavinskey I play the game until this day. You act like you’re the only one who has the answers or played the game of hockey, you locker room guru 😅 Jordan was an asshole to his teammates but I guess they could have won more than 6 championships if he was nice to them hey.
Package up JT and Boeser and go fishing...?
Being done
Fine with boeser parting ways, just a bit nervy with miller also rumored to go and offence being a big struggle
9/10 for not getting Petey to figure out scoring. then its a 10/10. team is way too low in scoring performance.
He's taking a (reality) wildcard team and getting the very last out of it. Mngmt fault if no decisions are made.
Sekeres and Price are constantly stirring up crap I don’t care for them
I'd do Miller for Nemec straight up, anything extra is gravy
He also floated when he was breaking sticks.
I don't want Nemec. Him saying "I was drafted 2nd overall" is a sense of entitlement. Its not like NJD is a rebuilding team, you have to earn a spot and he feels he should be given one. Its Luke Hughes coming back or I wouldnt even consider the trade. Nemec is a prospect, not an NHL player.
Luke ain’t going that way Quinn is going the other way at the d of his contract.
You think you're getting Luke Hughes for JT Cancer? Whatchoo smokin brutha?
Sekeres (almost) looks as dumb as he sounds
