I brought a 2005 g35 and it came with brembos and came with some aftermarket wheels but i cant find any wheels that clear the brembos brake pads without running spacers my question is will the stock 19in rays fit over the brembo brake pads without spacers
Wade nice upgrade. Did you look inside the Disc for vane straight or angle. If angled, they are directional and you might have the left/right discs interchanged. Also the rear disc E Brake Hat comes in 2 diameters. I had a shipper send me the large size and could not adjust the E Brake.
@@wade_debo Super! Reason is usually the Swirl of the slot always points to the back of the car. Your manufacturer must be different. Anyway, the final product looks real good.
Yes you can upgrade the master as well, we went ahead and tried it out without the master and the pedal feel was still really good ! If we notice anything different with the pedal later on we will update to the other option
For sure ! If you order the kit it’s nice to have them come as a set and then you have everything if you get them used from somewhere it’s nice to know they are at local stores !
@@wade_debo Yea that set is way too much in my opinion. I get discounts at oreillys since I used to work there and my old co worker still does I was able to get the front two calipers, and one of the rear ones from there for under 400 and thats pretty much new (reman) calipers with warranty, hoses I got under 150 for all 4 from there as well I don't need expensive liness when its notna track car. I pretty much peiced the kit together little by little and its under 1000 all new parts for me. Thats only possible since I get a hook up but generally speaking evem used brembo kits with old seals and stuff still go for more. The oreillys calipers are all oe brembos stamped calipers but with all new internals.
Hey man, I was wondering what prompted you to go with the Brembos over the Akebono brakes that come on the 370z/G37s. Was it just a matter of what popped up locally first or were there other factors that led you in that direction?
Had thought about that route to ! But yes it was due to what popped up around us as well as I wanted the oem look and no adapter brackets for the bigger calipers ! Maybe I will switch to them on the LS3 350z 👍
2003-2004 coupe 6MT had a Brembo package option from the dealer. that being said, the bolt hole positions on the stock caliper and the Brembo caliper are the same.

dot 5 is not compatible with dot 3 systems, also infiniti/nissan's brake bleed procedure is not furthest to closest caliper, check your FSM for the right procedure
Yep ! Wasn’t keeping the stock wheels any way so an easy way to get it off keep 1 wheel nut on loosely then tap it and it pops off. There was a lot of corrosion between the hub and the wheel causing it to be seized on.
Yea I have been thinking that would look good to if we find another set to clean up only thing is they have to be spaced out they are pretty sunken in and don’t have the nice flush look without spacers.
Video helped out a ton, especially the part where you talked about the 2 rear caliper bolts being a different thread pitch. Thanks again!!
Anytime ! Glad you found it helpful 👍

Nice work I’m actually in the process of doing this. Question what brake lines did y’all use and how do you bleed the front ones it has two bleeders.

Did the kit you used come with a caliper adapter to fit the brembo?? Or does It mount up without it?
