I live here and I’m vegan and I LOVED watching this. It looks like you guys had so much fun and I loved getting ideas for new spots that I could see when you shared the menus had options for me that I’ve never tried before!:) Thanks so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful & helpful video.
Portlander here - May, June, September and October are my favorite months to live here. Usually not smokey (wildfires) and also not horribly hot. In October the leaves turn which is beautiful no matter how many times you've seen it. Next time you have to hit the Adidas Nike or Columbia employee stores for half off. If you have a decent following in Portland, someone can usually help, they're easy to get :) Second the person that recommended Sugar Pine Drive-In in the gorge area, especially if you come back during the sunny season.
Bernstein's Bagels was created by an old friend of mine who is an AMAZING saxophone player and great human. It's across town from me so I still have not tried it, because they always sell out super early and I'm rarely over there at that time of day! As someone who's lived here since 2002, it's interesting to see a traveler's perspective on my town. Thanks for your travel film! Super cool!
You have such great energy and I love that you loved your time in Portland! (It gets a lot of negative heat these days). But come back in July or early September for blue skies and sunshine. You’ll love it even more 😊
LOVE LOVE LOVE to see something else than the reviews (even though they are fantastic!) just wish you would do voice over instead of the text on the screen ❤️❤️❤️
I'm a viet person living in PDX and yeah non-viet people rave about Luc Lac, but for viet food, it's very mid. I think people just like the ambiance which is fine. They do good alcoholic slushies too.
Pro tip, it’s pronounced “cove-uh.” And if you make it back to Eem, you have to try the white curry with burnt ends, it’s life changing. Although it’s hard to go wrong there! Great vlog :)
If you ever come back, recommend Khao Moo Dang for food, their Lychee Hibiscus Juice is deliciously refreshing. Fifty Licks (Ice Cream), their Mango Sticky Rice flavor is a must-try, with other interesting and tasty flavors to test out to your liking.
Next time if you come back, If you want to lol. I can get you into Adidas employee store 50% everything and no sales tax! Possibly Columbia Employee store too. Nike Employee is a little trickier lol

Great Vlog, keep up the good work !
The lake here separates the East side from The West side 💕🙌💙🌈
If you guys come back you need to visit the west side. Specifically beaverton, oregon area!
