Why do they punish guitar players by frantically changing the camera position every 5 notes? It's so fucking unnecessary. Maybe impresses graphics geeks, but not guitar geeks... c'mon.

Absolutely love the writing and the playing, but that scratchy distortion, I just can't get past it. Same issue with the latest Vildhjarta release... Very beautiful guitar too! Perhaps I should take my negativity somewhere else... :P
I've noticed that the cool prog guitarists get Strandbergs while the lesser known and honestly, inferior mainstream prog(Never thought I;d say that) get these Mayonnaise guitars. Meanwhile the king himself has the mother of all Ibanezes.
littleredguitars2 I would think the rubbing of the string against the frets would make some noise, but it looks like he is barring all of the strings to help mute them. Very odd, but he gets it done!
He never lets the string go with his pinky, therefore he can't make the noise...Since he's muting it basically. I think he uses it to kind of keep his hand in roughly the same position when he's picking hard, so he doesn't go too far out if he has to come back to do a riff or something.
Had a chance to talk to browne on the subject and he said he keeps his pinky on the high string to remain aware of where he is on the neck when strumming. Stuff like ghost noting and scrapes can get hectic especially in the grooves he writes on his extended ranged gear!
