Also you are right about the exterior options. Ugly lips and spoilers,bad taste on aftermarket bumpers etc. We are lucky that with a nice set of rims and lowering suspension the car is beautiful. Honestly this cars aren’t that bad, i can pull my drivetrain by myself in less than 1hr and put it back in less than 1hr, most people are not mechanically inclined so are afraid to do the work, but good lucks bro, keep the b5 alive 💪🏽
@@philippewilliamson5759 i used a jack under the trans to level it while pulling honestly its not hard to disconect the heater hoses,clutch slav. axles, driveshaft, unbolt shifter box, pull the ecu, to me its easy idk what everyone else thinks
@@TopGdxrk i mean with experience comes facility, i havent pulled the motor once during the 6 years i been driving it, so all the tips from experienced people will be very helpful🙏

Feel you bro this is my 3rd B5 S4😭 I just pulled mines and rebuilt the snails. That was a major pain in the ass as the K04s housing is only made to fit by SEP Euro. 20 miles down the road wastegates go…😅 now I’ll be pulling it again for those probably today🤦🏾♂️ B5s are actually great cars if you’re on top of your maintenance, drivetrains out the factory hold a lot of power, it’s all in the build quality with these things, def ahead of it’s time! Love yours btw, this makes me wanna pick back up with my channel, im tapped in for this build🤙🏾

Personally I have a 2000 blue car and I have pulled the engine myself 3 times already and only owned the car for 2 years so far. I did buy it stock and decided to take it to stage 3 myself tho so it's kind of on me, currently battling boost issues. But I love that you're taking it upon yourself to design some actual aero for these cars! I completely agree there is almost nothing on the market and every B5 S4 looks the same. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Don't give up on her, we all struggle with these damn cars but the miracle days of them working properly are a high unlike anything I've experienced. This is entirely your fault why would you not think that your doing such a intensive labor job why would you installed used parts? That’s like people that I met buying used clutch and flywheels and when installed it slips. Just be happy you did the labor correctly. So now correctly remove the motor and trans again try putting new turbos this time.
Cupra R front lip is almost a direct fitment, fyi. Also, exhaust manis do NOT have to be pulled to remove turbos. Just grind down a 10mm and 17mm open end wrench and youll be fine. No need to leave bolts out.
Well to be honest. I did turbos one time and did everything by myself. 430whp and running 4 years only with one issue I had after that time. Only g28 sensor.
I just bought an 04 allroad and may have to do this in the future. Definitely gonna buy ko4s new so i dont risk your issue. Buy once, cry once. Cars mint atm, $4k 117k miles. Has been maintained very well.
1st thing, should've atleast used some new k03s for replacement. 2nd is YES STK ALL THE WAY, thats what im going for rn. S/o for the engine pull and reinstall without issues tho, you made it look easy! Keep ur head up and lets go through this STK once and for all!

I did the ICM delete and I've got k04's. She runs great! I feel your pain though, good luck! JHM makes a rebuild kit for the trans and synchro upgrade if you get there!
I had my B5 with fused flywheel to clutch disc I’ve dropped my trans like 6 time replaced 4 clutched it’s crazy but well worth it, wend you hear that 2.7T purring down the road at WOT making head turn lol good luck
You need to get a C5 allroad so you can have twice the fun besides the 2.7T .. Fortunately I'm not at the point of replacing the turbos but since Im collecting parts for the eventual Stage III bump with RS6 SMIC's & turbos next winter will be soon enough.. Concerning carbon fiber, creating the rear hatch spoiler now & laminating the side mirrors covers plus still have to do all the interior trim pieces which for now are just wrapped in 5D high gloss CF wrap..
Lmao... I feel you. Audi was known for shoehorning bigass engines into smallass spaces with questionable accessibility [ B7 RS4 and C6 RS6]. I REALLY thought you were gonna torch it tho🤣🤣
Your biggest mistake was to use garbage parts, it’s a big job that can go very wrong if you’re negligent when it comes to quality of parts, should’ve went with melett chra or some Borg Warner replacement turbos that are new, also not sure what you’re talking about when you say you have to take the whole exhaust manifold off to do this job… I’ve done it many times and I can confirm I’ve never had to do that….
The purchase of quality parts ensures that you will "buy once and cry once". I just installed Melett K04 chra's in my allroad. $470 for the pair. Warrantied @26psi for 1 year! Makes 410whp/430wtq@20psi Give them a try.
Hahaha, the only person you should be mad at is yourself. And I can say this because I was so dumb, this happened twice to me, and once to the guy that bought the car from me. Bought an avant and it blew a k03 one month later. Was a poor college kid so I sourced “good” used k03s. They lasted 1500 miles. Then I went to turbo concepts and ordered a set of his “OEM” rebuilt BW k03s. Those made it all of 7,000 miles, he sent me a new set free of charge, which- who cares when you’re like 50 hours into wasting your life already. Then I finally wised up and sold the goddamn car. those turbos made it 8k miles while he was in Arizona on a cross country road trip ( he lived in Boston lol). He ended up at AZeuros and in the most epic YOLO moment, purchased the federalized Imola Yellow B5 RS4 they had for sale and drove home in it. Turning lemons in lemonade. Fuck these cars. I write this as I stare at my 500whp b5 s4 that has enough money in it by now I could have made a down payment on a nice house in the SF Bay Area, yet i still love it more than any other object I’ve ever had. FML.

Any updates on this car? I'm about to replace my Srm K04s, they didn't last long. You may just have residual oil in the system, hopefully..
I personally would never install used turbos cause i know the horrible outcomes of that possibility but hey shit happens lol
I have never heard of anyone using used turbos ! .especially on that car because it's a recipe for disaster, wow guy .
How is the turbo blown? You most likely have oil in your exhaust and the turbo is fine
