I’ve used the MSI but not the gigabyte. Less ghosting with the MSI by a small margin with similar vibrancy to the KOORUI.
@@1UpNerdcore you will recommend to get the MSI instead of the koouri, just because has little bit less ghosting ...? Thanks. By the way awesome channel keep it up.
Hello do you think iys good for casual use and watching movies with the family?
A tv is better than a monitor for that. If you have to use it for content consumption it’s okay but you might look into the Samsung g7 43inch monitor for that
Ok so which would you recommend between this and the Sceptre 34” ultrawide?
Close call, coin toss. I could go either direction to be honest.
is this good for designers ? when it comes to colors , pixels etc
I wouldn’t get this for that type of work. I’d go with a more color accurate monitor
I have an old msi optix mag341cq and I'm thinking of selling it to get this for the 165mz and HDR. Good idea?
Not worth the upgrade in my opinion. Save up more for something better.
Awesome monitor! Does it come with built-in speakers?
I cover that in the video, I can’t remember off hand
No.
Yo is it possible to align your clock to the opposite side? Icks me see the entire line of numbers jump side to side every second because 3 is thicker than 1. I want to make this clock too, is it rainmeter?
I’m not sure what clock you’re talking about
Would you consider this over the Xiaomi 34 inch?
I haven’t used that monitor but based off specs I would take this one over the xiaomi
I have got the monitor 2 days ago and still can’t figure out why it’s only 100hz… I already looked up for the settings I can only change between 60 and 100 with a HDMI 2.1 … someone help
You have to use a display cable (DP) to get faster Hz, HDMI is limited to 100Hz and below.
You have to use display port (DP)
Does it not have an overdrive or response time setting? To reduce the black color smearing/ghosting
I cover that at the 2:35 mark along with mprt. Overdrive is just a different word for response time adjustments so it’s the same thing I cover in the video.
@@1UpNerdcorethank you
What's the background image you got on your other monitor?
One I found on the wallpaper engine app on Steam
Am using this monitor. 60and 100hz. Perfect. But 120 to 165hz screen going flickering. Some time no issue. What is the problem ? Frinds
Should i get this monitor or the Asus tuf VG34VQEL1A? Which would be better in you opinion?
The Asus has a better response time and good colors so I would go with that
@@1UpNerdcore ok i ordered that one! I was using a tv that was 1080p 60hz as my main display and I never used a HDR, 1440p, 60+hz display before so im excited to receive it! Thanks for replying too man : )
I'm not really fan of Curved Monitors, which monitor are you using with your PC ? The one we can see in the background at the beginning of the video ?
This one

@@1UpNerdcore I really appreciate it
This or the Sceptre C345B-QUT168 ?
If I need the extras like usb ports etc the KOORUI, for better picture quality I’d go with the Sceptre by a slight margin. Especially with ghosting
Thanks!@@1UpNerdcore
Just got mine but no clue what this 4 screw things are for that came with it
For vesa mounting it on a monitor arm
Hi I just bought this monitor had it for a month and the screen keeps going on and off and way of resolving this ?
Check the DP or hdmi cable, if it’s not that contact the company.
i do like this does pip and pbp why do you reviewers leave out pip and pbp ? do ya not have two divices too test this out ?
Because they all end up looking the same. One larger monitor or super ultrawides I show them because it is so different but here it will be like any other ultrawide.
Il a l'air tout simplement incroyable même pour du FPS 😮, je suis sur le point de le prendre. J'ai un G7 27" 240hz+ un ecran d'apoint dell, je pense le remplacer par celui là quand pensez-vous ?
English?
This won’t be better than a G7 240hz monitor
So would this monitor run slower simulation games like ats / ets2 and farming simulator 22 good ?
Yes
I dunno which 1 to buy Dell S3422DWG or this monitor? Which is betterw
I haven’t used the dell so I can’t say for sure. If the dell has a better response time though I’d go with it
@@1UpNerdcore thank you very much
how do you compare it to Xiaomi Redmi 34 inch Curved Gaming Monitor 144Hz Ultrawide Screen 121% sRGB FreeSync
Does this monitor have its own sound or do I have to buy a separate sound bar?
If it has speakers I cover that with a sound test in the video. If not it won’t be there, I don’t remember off hand though.
how does it do against asrocks monitors?? (pls i need help with ultrwaides)
I haven’t reviewed any of those so I can’t speak on them.
What are the four screws for that comes with the monitor?
To mount it to a monitor arm
But is the G5 better overall then? Price for both is pretty close here...
Depends on what you’re wanting. Better colors on the Koorui but slightly better performance on the G5 in terms of ghosting
@@1UpNerdcore Hmm I tend to go for less ghosting so G5 - Ok great thanks for the reply!
What monitor is that on your desk in the background?

what about resident evil 6. I get motion with regular 60fps on tv monitor. but how about other higher fps for re6 144 fps
I don’t have that game so I can’t test it
I have a question do alot of games support this monitors res
Almost all games do
On PC, consoles don’t support native 21:9
Can this be mounted up on a wall or can u only use the stand?
Yes 75/75mm mounting point for arm, or wall mount
Please include timestamps
Is this an IPS Panel? and how does it hold up to the G5 ultra wide ?
I cover all that info in the video 👍🏻
It's VA
Kory I had a better price in Canada for the exact same features so imma take that one
how is it? ghosting?
Picked one up for 270 :D
Satisfait ?
no speakers included in ????....do i need to buy separate speakers /...
95% of monitors don't have speakers in them, why are you so surprised?
i know its weird to ask this question but how much electricity is needed to power this monitor in watts?
It’ll show it on the Amazon listing that’s in the description of the video 👍🏻
@@1UpNerdcore i just see all video related but dont saw anything about the amount electricity to run this monitor?
which one is better with xiaomi g34wqi??
Has anyone brought this and if so, what do you think? Thinking of getting for gaming. Play lot of call of
Duty. So any comments would be appreciated
Where do you get all those wallpapers from? they look so cool
Wallpaper engine app off Steam
Thank you I just ordered this monitor to use up until next year when the new monitors come out for 2024 as my asus rog monitor stop working and this will be my first ultrawide monitor
Just bought this and description says it has 2 2.1 hdmi ports. I thought it was cheap for 2.1 outputs. Why would they put that in their description.
Manual says HDMI 2.0. My guess is it got pushed through without being checked and corrected. It happens a lot with monitors. Even with large brands like Samsung.
I really wanted to like this monitor but regrettably just set up the return and refund for it. I may have lost the Panel Lottery or something, because mine has really washed out quality and felt like the VA Panel was just really apparent on mine. After calibrating it the colors never felt quite right and there was always this thin vineer of blur over everything. I've decided to just stick to my 27 inch NZXT Canvas monitor, and keep searching.
Is there ghosting or black smearing?
I cover that in the video
I am currently on a 32' gigabyte 16:9 165hz 1440p monitor and am looking to get an ultrawide. I was looking at either the OMEN 32' 144hz or of course the Samsung G5. Would it be worth in in general to go with this monitor over the others/ staying with the one I have now. (looking for other opinions other then the one in the video)
I haven’t tried the omen so I can’t speak on that one. The Samsung and this one have bad ghosting/black smearing so keep that in mind
@@1UpNerdcore yea my monitor now (i forgot the model name) is a VA panel and does have ghosting which can be somewhat noticeable sometimes but it really doesent bother me all that much, as im kinda moving away from fps comp games and more into single player/ multiplayer cinematic type games where i don’t really need 165 fps+. But of course i do want to stay with a 165/144hz monitor in case i do go back to thoes games for a bit.
Nice
my personal opinion the GIGABYTE G34WQC A-sa 34 at 349.99 is a serious contender and it sounds like it out performs this unit. It is norm stack against 800 and higher monitors
It’ll out perform it in terms of ghosting. It won’t compare to 800+ dollar monitors because that’s what OLEDs cost.
Everyone else says that its a 900 dollar monitor in 300 dollar skin. Ghosting is the best I have seen in this class and its just amazing for that price. ty maybe I try a koorui one day @@1UpNerdcore
It is compatible with vesa mounting?
Yes
