The fact that NEITHER OF THEM mentioned that the Clippers offered the 2/60 “before” the season started and based it on PG not being healthy the year before. Also having this entire segment and not even mentioning the BIGGEST ISSUE IN THIS NEGOTIATION is damn near criminal. PG asked not only for 3/150 but he also asked for a no trade clause. And THAT was the sticking point.

The 2nd apron isn't just about paying luxury tax. It prevents teams from doing basic roster building moves. You don't even get to sign players for the mid level exception. All trades have to match salaries 100% evenly which is really hard to do.
