These vids make me wish my local had a stadium contract, this beats rigging chains in a shed 100 times to one

I don't know the technical names a never climbed before. But wouldn't it be safer to use the big clips as a back up to the automatic single one on the yellow rope as you go up and down? I think one of the other guys does it this way.

In all honesty, it would yield the same result, the yellow rope would stop you automatically so your hooks wouldn't even get the chance to deploy or catch you, they would still just be dangling at the same height as before the fall.

Balls of steel. No chance I could ever do this and I'm totally fine with that! Lol! Side note, what show was this?

No radio, some guys get them but not needed for everyone.

Why did you have to move the line along in your other videos and in this one you straight up? Does it have a lock mechanism?

    • @worldwiderigging

So with that safety, it will move with you in one direction and then dig in and stop if going the opposite direction. You dont necessarily have to take it up with you as you climb but it does make the fall shorter when you do. The other guy just carried it with him to shorten the distance incase he was to take a fall.
