Very small 4 point show out of Cobb Ga on 08/30/23. Ever wondered how threatre rigging is set up? Well lets watch as Travis out of Atlanta gives us a tour. Apologies, in the video we reference the yellow ribbons that you walk on as battens, just know those yellow slits are called ribbons not battens.
Look at all those tiny people !

Install of a G2 Tower. Here you will see Travis out of Atlanta GA climb up, release the crane strap, set motor chain and climb back down.
Do americans not use lifters of self lifting stages? a lot of the videos ive watched is of the towers being assembed on the ground and being slung into place. do you raise the grid on rolling truss?
only 4 points omg i love days like that 😭😭😭😭😭 i swear it feels like robbery
its really cool of you to post these vids, working towers for the first time and being able to see how its done is a huge leg up. thanks for the content man 👍
@@connnnair9023 anytime !! That’s what these are for !
bro does more work than the band
I really want to work abroad
can anyone help me..I once worked rigging the same thing in Indonesia
How do I join my rigging crew from Indonesia... my name is Muhammad Firdaus
How do I join my rigging crew from Indonesia... my name is Muhammad Firdaus
❤😮
👍👊❤
How do I get into this?????
Yes I can walk across this beam blind folded I’ve been a production rigger for 10 years touring the world making tons of money lmao
This guy is a really good instructor.
Thank you !
get you a military surplus fuel mans full body suit.. they're waterproof and great for this, i think theyre gortex, and way cheaper than consumer gortex
ooo thank you, I will definitely look into that !
@@worldwiderigging buddy had one, and everyone else on the crew fit it, and loved it. I was just too tall to try it out but they seemed sweet. If you don't already, you should follow HowNot2, easily one of the best channels for our world of activities
YAYYY!!! A new video finally!! I’ve rewatched your other videos so many times because I love how you explain when you’re working! Please please PLEASE upload more I love your videos❤️🎭
Nice. Saftey work
thank you.
How tall of this tower and it’s a 60 40? Nice job as well 🫡
The tower is sitting at about 65ft , not too high .
Keep uploading please
@mateonunez2061 will do!
Everyone I meet up top is a climber 😂
best way to live!
Looks like StageCo. Greetings - nice Job.
@@binicsinic it is a G2 stage actually
i dont think its safe to be that high with the extreme weight of your balls weighing down. someone should report this to Hippa
@@Floridapighandler 😂😂
I honestly followed your page because of this young man giving instructions. This is such a killer job and you can definitely tell the young man across from him has never been up this high. I used to paint Navy Aircraft Carriers in a Boatswains Chair 60 ft up and it is not for the weak at heart.
Both scaff hooks are below your feet and your grillion isn't screwed up. Look after your self man
Thank you for the corrections! With me being at the top of the tower, my hooks are at the highest point to where they can hang freely which is correct. Good looks on the carabiner .
Sometimes I think about hanging my hat in the radio tower world to do this.. but then I remember my balls are too heavy for stage equipment.. =p stay safe brother.
Haha, we would love to have you man! but yea they may be too heavy for these towers ! lol
😮
crazy stuff!
At least the fall arrest hasn't been left up top 😂
@@Drifterteetea that’s always the worst! Waste of a fall arrest lol
You have some great videos. Subbed!
thank you for the sub man! really appreciate it .
The man instructing is top notch. Nice job you two.
@@dougtaylor7724 thank you thank you !
Ol boy better get in the gym lol he got smoked and he didn't even have to use his lanyard.
First time climber, getting him used to the heights and using different muscles then he's used before but he is connected by rope grab, that's why he didn't use the lanyards at first.
Blessings brother 🙏 each and every second 🫡
thank you.
Well that was a bit of a dud, wasn't it?
How so?
how does somebody go about doing this
Rhino Staging is a good company to get your feet wet with climbing concerts.
Those towers control the rain
I wish ! then we would be able to turn off the rain lol
I work for rhino too! Gonna start rigging training soon
I'm much happier just being the drummer. Rock Stars are spoiled brats that made it.
We would ALL love to be the drummer lol
I never thought about this. Rock Climbers must LOVE this shit for experience. To THEM, this is EASY stuff. They're not on a rock face Mountain. This is paint by numbers for rock climbers.⭐👊🏻🤘✌
@@williambonnie-do7yz that is one way to definitely look at it!!
Piece of cake
Easy as 123
What camera?
GoPro Hero 11
Good stuff boys!! I love my job
Yes sir, thank you!
WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS IN THE RAIN ? VERY SLIPPERY.
Jobs got to get done!
Because it needs to be down and up again across the country in 24 hours and the next show will be coming to set up thier equipment at 4am
What's the protocol for lightning in this kind of situation?
If there's a severe weather warning within like 30 miles or so they take everyone off the field.
correct!
This is a really old 'manual' flybar system for those of who are wondering. Good for them biceps! But check out automated systems!
The automated ones make me feel like I didn't work for my money! lol but yes def a workout for sure .
I only just got over climbing an 8-foot ladder. Fuck doing this.
Surprisingly enough, id rather climb these than stand on the top of one of those ladders! Too wobbly for me!
what's a g2 tower?
Just the company that supplies this stage setup.
Huge respect to both of you. Love what you do. I would have been PISSED if my trainee was failing to following instruction at the most critical point in the procedure you've been discussing and preparing for the last 15-20 minutes for! But, we all have obstacles we need to learn from..
First time climbers, there minds are all over the place, I do believe he just didn't know I meant that the crane was coming in at that very moment and must've thought I was talking future references, he did great overall though!
love how he teaches. would love and would feel so safe to be working with him )
thank you so much, that means a lot.
I always thought it was weird seeing all our Safety videos only coming from American real life scenarios. Now I understand why, not to say its wrong, but in my country the employer would be fined making employees work on heights and worse on temporary structure set ups during the rain. Its not impossible but it surely is a national safety standard to stop work
Yea we would normally work in the rain with of course being extra cautious and careful. Its when it comes to lightning being in the area when we would stop all work and clear the area but we also have high end weather tracking systems that will monitor all lightning activity in the area.
@@worldwiderigging very related safety rules makes up in good productivity
Conner: Like hell it's not a race down. Seriously though, he did good. haha
That's Connor for you ! lol
Balls of steel. No chance I could ever do this and I'm totally fine with that! Lol! Side note, what show was this?
This was for Twice, the K-pop group.
Dude at the beginning saying you have the ability to pull over a crane. What!?? If a 180 pound man is pulling over a crane, there were much bigger issues.
technology is one crazy thing but science is even crazier! weight distribution is wild.
amazing teacher,. great man
thank you!
