"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right?
My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity).
SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace.
There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...)
The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal.
Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius.

@@faizalaziz4796 I love that imagery, it's one of the first things I thought of when I heard Jiu's pre-chorus the first time. Even the line "Even if we're a little apart we're still together" because Gravity's affects can be felt even when you're away from the Earth.

@@faizalaziz4796 Yea, its supposed to symbolize marking the date on a calendar for when something is happening or planned. In this case, it's the countdown until they have to leave, and it's a bittersweet thing. They know they need to leave in order for Earth to heal, but they don't want to go because they still love the Earth, even though it might not love them back, because of everything that's happened.
The whole EP is loosely structured like a break-up letter. The intro starts it off with From Us, the first words you'd write in a letter to someone. Bonvoyage is them saying goodbye and trying to be positive about it. Demian is them giving into the feelings of hate they have at the situation and wanting it to be different. Propose is them trying to bargain and change their mind. "To. You" is acceptance of the situation, the realization of all they've lost, and the desire to reconcile. The writers and producers for DC always do a great job with their concepts.
I also saw a lot of people drawing parallels in this storyline to Minx as well and how that was a dark time for the girls, but in now all these years later, they're in a position where they miss that version of themselves. It actually fits really well and does kind of go with the idea that all of the storylines have stimmed from the trauma of Minx and the journey to become Dreamcatcher.
Dreamcatcher always do symbolic things into details. My most favourite here SuA was running to chase the dove, dove represents freedom, peace, directly connected with Vision, also on another perspective chasing freedom for the Earth to heal.

You were actually pretty spot-on with how I view the song. Jiu actually said the concept was inspired by the "rest period" for Korean parks, where they'll be closed off and no human entry will be allowed so the flora and fauna can flourish and heal in its own ecosystem. Same basic concept - we must say goodbye (for now) to the Earth so it can heal.
If you remember, in the end of "Vision"'s music video we saw them "launch" something and a bunch of targets appeared all over the planet, I think they were setting up protective domes that we see being lowered in the end of the video here. They isolated parts of the world so that they could flourish (and we can see it working because in "Maison" and "Vision," the world was completely destroyed but now we're seeing plants and flowers grow again and even wildlife thriving, which I think was partly the point of the seemingly randomly-placed horse).

Here is a short intro for Bon Voyage given by JiU of Dreamcatcher (on It's Live), " Nature rest periods are needed because humans and nature have become closer than necessary. It is a song to tell the nature or the person on your mind to rest well". Some Insomnias also have pointed out it can be a song of saying farewell to the loved ones that had passed.
Definitely one of Dreamcatcher's masterpieces.
The cool thing about their concepts is that the more you think, the more you realize it all makes sense and also that there are many interpretations to it. The most superficial being that it's a love song for someone (wich clearly isn't, but the lyrics could be used in that context too).
From my point of view this is a farewell/love letter to our planet after all the damage caused. Some key parts for me were:
"Now I'm here, blending feelings for you" I think it reffers to the sadness of letting go, but also being grateful that they were able to connect with Earth.
"Every cell in me is drawn to you" Could mean love, but also gravity if we take it literally.
"Maybe you don't but I love you" Maybe the Earth doesn't love us (as humans) since we damage it, but they are confessing their love anyways.
"So I try to move on without you (the translation I looked up makes a little more sense here than the one in the MV), drawing a red circle everyday as if it's our last" The red circle part reffering to marking a special date on a calendar.
"Even without words, I know you, I know you" This one is kinda funny because the planet literally can't speak words.
"Because I have my selfish past, and yet I draw a future with you" The selfish past meaning that as humans we all have damaged the planet, but we still want to live here.
And finally the last part is like "I want to let you know that you are not alone, and wherever future may lead you, I hope you are able to enjoy a better life"
I also have to mention how the music feels like there are deep restrained emotions that start coming out in the first part of the chorus but with hesitation, and then the second part is an explosion of those feelings and it goes all out. Not only that, their voices really portray those emotions, being extremely delicate in the prechorus and then the power vocals come in the chorus along with the instrumental changes. And also the melodic rap really feels like she's reflecting her emotions and acknowledging those feelings at the same time.
What more can I say... Dreamcatcher did it again.
If you want to react to another masterpiece, I highly recommend Deja Vu. It's pure art and I think most people can't understand it fully without an explanation, but discovering the depth of it makes it even better. And It's a colaboration with the game King's Raid btw.

The complete storyline: The Apocalypse has happened. The Divine Goddesses gave a Vision to the dying World as they appeared and declared it in Part 2 of the Apocalypse Trilogy, Vision. Humans should be separated from Nature to give the planet a way to heal. So at the moment that destructive war broke out, they activated some energy barriers that isolated the last human communities from the rest of the planet, to protect them. In the end of Vision, Humans were called to say Bon Voyage to Mother Earth and go on their separate way, safe inside their enclaves. The Goddesses declared their Vision to the public: "For your bright future and this beautiful place, for ourselves, we must give it up tonight" and then they activated the barriers.
In Bon Voyage, the strange phenomena we see all over the trilogy, like levitating buildings, or energy surges continued to threaten the survivors, but the Goddesses keep protecting the humans. They also create the Pokemon looking creatures called Cellies, to slowly mend the broken planet. Many years pass, the dangerous phenomena subside and Nature slowly recovers. Animals start roaming the Earth again and we see insects and plant life flourishing once again.
In the final act, the Goddesses go to the control monoliths and turn off the energy barriers that kept Humans safe inside all these years, revealing a lush beautiful paradise Green Earth awaiting for them. Humans can venture outside and live in balance with Mother Earth from that moment on.

The musical intricacies of Dreamcatcher songs are astounding this song is one of the song that highlight the many layers,genre and sound interlacing each other but do not create chaos but a beautiful rhythmic harmony complement each other I think it is this type of sound that represents the girls themselves so well they all have different personality and strength and when they perform they compliment each other so well they don't outshine or contrast they acknowledged each other strength and make a beautiful performance by complementing each other Dreamcatcher is one in a dime not just in k-pop but in music industry as a whole. A group that is deemed to fail in an industry that does not cater to their sound but here they're outliving so many other groups that are perfectly generated to be successful by bigger companies it is the power of sheer determination,hard-work and passion that they're out here to this day making music and performing across the world they are truly an underdog sucess story

The meaning is in the title, Bon Voyage. Not a goodbye, but rather have a good trip and come back safely, renewed in body and spirit. Nature will also renew and heal while we're apart. The Tarot card that Gahyeon hands to herself is the Six of Swords which means leaving a troubled past burdened with sad memories, but moving towards a more tranquil future.

Thanks for checking out more Dreamcatcher! Your interpretation was pretty close to how it was explained by Jiu. Basically, humanity and earth need to take some time apart because of all the damage that we've caused. We ended up winning in Vision, but Earth needs time to heal so the remnants of humanity need to leave for a time.
If you decide to go through their albums at some point, you'll find continuations of the themes and stories from each of the title tracks. For instance, Apocalypse: Follow Us, the EP with Vision, has a very clear progression in its use of instrumentation throughout the EP. The Intro and Vision use a lot of electronic and computer-generated sounds in their production. The next song, Fairy tale, still has those elements but they're more subdued and more real and natural sounding instruments are used. The 3rd song, Some Love, is funk inspired and has dropped all of the electronic instrumentation in favor of real instruments and a more "natural" soundscape. The last song on the EP, Rainy Day, is mostly piano and nature sounds (rain) and finally, the Outro, uses tribal drums and chants with nature sounds. The healing that Vision calls for is shown in the progression of the songs on the EP, which leads directly into Bonvoyage. There are more layers to it but that's just an example of how the EPs and Titles are a cohesive storytelling device.

there is somewhat of a visual plot where they are guardians of the planet and came to help us save ourselves. while the first two gave dire visions of the future if mankind continues on our destructive path, bon voyage gives a more hopeful message that it's not too late for humanity to alter course. by changing our ways, we can one day bid them, guardians of mother earth, bon voyage. there's quite a bit of imagery and lyrical clues if one really wants to geek out about it, but that's not for everyone lol.
