    Some advice for anyone who doesn't know about this: You can get pre-op and post-op meds that are 99% effective at preventing HIV. And if you do get exposed, there is Prophylaxis which your workers comp will cover (so long as you fill out a full exposure report). With modern medicine it's actually quite difficult to contract HIV, but it doesn't do any good unless people know about it and how to take it. Stay safe out there.

    I always wear needle resistant gloves when searching people, and cars. Honestly, cars scar me more, as you can reach into gloves boxes blindly. Well worth the money. Just my .02.

      www.221btactical.com/products/Equinoxx-Rendition-Hoodie-SL I think code "FFT10" gets you 10% off that one. It's hard to keep track of the codes and links stuff. There will be a review in the coming weeks. It's not really a hoody, more of a form fitting light jacket with a metric shit ton of pocket space. I can fit my wife's cat in the chest pocket. will this work with prickly pear pattle spines? I harvested my prickly pear to make cactus fries and dam they were delicious!!! the downside is that I got stuck 5 times during the peeling process. the spines are big and small and tapers smaller than a needle! the spines are extremely sharp! so sharp I made a blowgun with the bigger spines as ammo, they even stick to sheet rock and painted cement! will these gloves handle it? if so I'll be getting a pair for my next harvest. (cooked prickly pear pattles are called nopales)
    fun fact: all species of prickly pear are edible and incredibly healthy!
    another fun fact: there are even cold resistant prickly pear that can handle snow (that's what I have)
    crazy fun fact: the flavor is depending on the time of day you harvest them. yes 2 different flavors on the same part of the plant!
    for sweeter flavor (my favorite) harvest them early when the sun doesn't hit them all the way or when the sun is just starting to rise
    for tangy and zesty flavor harvest them during the mid afternoon when the sun is hot.
    scientific principle behind the changes of flavor: when you harvest them early, the plant is basically sleeping and photosynthesis is not active resulting in a sweeter flavor.
    when you harvest during the hot sun afternoon, photosynthesis is active and the fluids inside the cactus are flowing and circulating resulting in a change of flavor to tangy and zesty.
    what I normally do: I'm not a morning person so I harvest them early then put them on a plate and put them in the refrigerator. I go back to bed then peel the spines off and cook them later.
    enjoy!

      @556wil 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Suresh he did a live stream a while back with 221b tactical gloves that failed miserably.
      Look up the knife I was talking about too. MTech is the $9 brand

    • @Suresh-ib4co
      @Suresh-ib4co 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Wil Young Yes. And then 221B did a video with the same gloves and the Hatch Gloves failed miserably. Tommy does the best reviews of LE gear on TH-cam for sure. And Amazon is full of cheap knockoffs...I got a video camera IDENTICAL to a Go-Pro for $59. IDENTICAL to the name brand Go-Pro which Go-Pro sells for $349!!! Same exact features. Same exact quality. $290 less! All these companies are getting knocked off. M-Tech has even knocked off $200 Benchmade knives. M-Tech price = $12.99. They’re all over their website and Amazon. Do we get mad at Go-Pro and Benchmade or do we just accept that no big company is safe from being cheaply knocked off? Even Nike gets knocked off.
