Sponsored obviously = little bias. Clearly Mechanics ware little harder to actually cut through and let's be honest - they did dull a plade a little, but i admit lack of protection on top and lackluster wrist is bad. Either way would go for other producers.
Very nicely done demo and comparison. Your gloves are definitely more protective due to the full coverage, but at the cost of extra bulk, heat, and dollars. Both excellent gloves for what they are.
Might be informative to update this comparison to the D4-360 model of the Mechanix Mpact. The normal mode comes in loud colors but it also comes in brown now.
Thanks brother. No, not sold at those sites. Please visit here: www.221btactical.com/collections/cut-resistant Any further questions please email: sales@221btactical.com.
I've got some experience handling those knives, sharpening and honing them. Dulling the knife on one kevlar glove before testing it on the next is honestly not fair. Two individual knives for this test would have given a more accurate result. That being said, both look neat. I don't need them though... I'm the guy holding the knife 😅
Is this an ad for how much better the mechanix gloves are? The only reason it took longer to cut through yours is because you took longer. Count the strokes its 2.5 times as many cuts pressed significantly harder without the glove moving for the mechanix. Also no selection of the thickest most protected part of the glove. Armortek is way better of a tech than whatever crap you designed for high dexterity.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Helps a lot. Also, our gloves have beat both gloves you mentioned in independent testing by 3 other TH-camrs who review gear on their channels. Once again, thanks for watching and helping our video spread. Be safe out there.

If I try to disarm somebody and I use my body weight and hand strength to grab this blade will it work? Try it in a real scenario
Many people have used the gloves in a real scenario and have emailed to say thank you for the ability to have such protection.

Nice gloves!!!!

Nice!!
I have to say when you started scraping the surface of your nail off with a knife it made me freaking cringe like no other.
The real test is the force of slashing not cutting
We did that test! Check it out...few months ago.
Nice
Love them
