0:35 I love that shot because Changli is the character that works in the shadows and Jinshi is always in the spotlight. It's such a clever choice by the director to not show Changli's face there.
A lot of in-game context is missing. Changli worked behind the scenes for most of 1.0 - 1.1, guiding and teaching Jinhsi and Rover (us, the player character). We never saw her face except for a blurry image on a screen when Jinhsi received a call from her. So her being kept hidden by the blinds at first makes sense. At 0:37 of this video, it shows a zoomed-in shot of an item that we were given during the story by Jinhsi, for us to figure out in game. At 1:01, there's an EXTREME close up blurry shot of Rover's tacet mark on their hand while they face an enemy named Scar. Right before this, it showed another character looking on, Sanhua, who was keeping tabs on us for Jinhsi. Changli being large and above all of that shows us how she helped orchestrate it, and then the capture of Scar by Jinhsi later on (at 1:18). The call from Changli to Jinshi I mentioned earlier was about her being ambushed, which is shown at 1:40 The blindfold is gameplay related. As she stacks her power while on the offensive, the edges of her clothes start to smolder, then her jacket burns away. She also gains a single flame where her "third eye" would be on her forehead. Even when she gains the blindfold at the height of her power, that single flame is still there. She has a mechanic called "truesight" so I assume she fights using that while wearing the blindfold. For the majority of her attacks she doesn't wield her sword, she uses phoenix feathers. The end of her ponytail are actually feathers (which also lights up as her stacks get higher). She can even turn into a fiery phoenix for a certain attack. Changli is extremely powerful in a fight, but her powers can be a detriment to her if she loses control of them, which is why she prefers to work behind the scenes. Every movement is tactical. There's also the fact that Changli leaves the Weiqi game, leaving Jinhsi sitting there, signifying that her role as Jinhsi's teacher is over. But she comes back just for one last play. Also a major contrast between her and Jinhsi's trailer. Jinhsi's trailer is first person POV for a lot of it. She interacts with us almost intimately, but here we're so removed all we get is a blurry close up shot of our hand and a mention lol.
The blindfold is a reference to a stacking mechanic part of her skill. But it's also a reference to her "True Sight", which is also shown by the small flame feather floating in front of her face. Her bio describes it as a mind's eye sort of thing. It's playing into her role as a strategist and being able to predict/see multiple steps ahead.
0:58 and 1:18 are moments of the main story... Literally moments where what she is saying (planned) happened ("lure the enemy with information", and "use their plans against them to corner them", respectively). 3:39 Rover its the main character. 06:25 That character its Sanhua. 10:03: As Chiangli uses his abilities he gains charges and those charges are reflected in his outer coat burning away and his eyes being covered with that blindfold.
10:05 What's up with her blindfold? Her outfit slightly changes as we utilise more of her in-game mechanics. That includes her outer coat burning away and her eyes being covered by a blindfold. It's so cool, it's making an entire community lose their minds over her.
It’s her forte ability she has one phase where part of her cloak burns then the final stage is her blindfold which she has foresight or something like that but it increases her ability and strength
@@ggalsorunning3762 but here a thing.. she already mastered her power n idk if it still logically to think that blindfold just for protection while that material is flammable n she burn it in her ultimate🫠
I've noticed that _Wuthering Waves_ for action-packed combat and action-packed trailers/demos has that 'Meditative Pause' period. That stillnes to it. _"After one action there is a time for a breather."_ I love that. It gives it that majestic, spiritual feeling, especially with the new zone. It's translucid and very full of soul, and emotion. You're just drifting the Mt.Firmament and enjoying the peace. 🙏
The blindfold solidifies that she need not eyes to see. At first a flame ignites over her forehead as she fight and accumulates strength (stacks), showing her foresight, then her dress burns, and finally the blindfold. Cleverly, at 3:17 you can see the silhouette of the dragon-shaped mountain on the Island Mt. Firmament, the locale release in patch 1.1 along with these two characters. The whole trailer is a throwback to the quest.
MC in each game 1. Wuthering waves- Rover 2. Genshin impact- Traveller 3. Honkai star rail- Trailblazer 4. Zenless zone zero- proxy , master ( there is no collective name for them ) or may be I just don't know 😂
About the moon, we're not sure yet, but one thing we are told is that when the moon begins to look weird, all shimmery and reflected/mirrored like in a water pool, a second moon, it forebodes a disaster incoming. It's herelding a creature of calamity waking up. It is preceded by a pretty cool effect of the "retro rain," a rain that falls backwards into the sky.
The protagonist character is found in an amnesiac state (shocker), and since they can't remember where they belong, they were nicknamed "Rover" as one who, well, roves. Pretty cool for the trope. Sounds old-timely.

Rover is the name of the main character!
0:35 I love that shot because Changli is the character that works in the shadows and Jinshi is always in the spotlight. It's such a clever choice by the director to not show Changli's face there.
OOO! That's a good point.
Rover is the player character. That's why the screen turns black when she call you. So you see yourself on the screen.
A lot of in-game context is missing. Changli worked behind the scenes for most of 1.0 - 1.1, guiding and teaching Jinhsi and Rover (us, the player character). This whole trailer is a recap of 1.0 version main story. This shows that Changli was the one that orchestrate those events behind the scene. ❤❤❤❤❤

06:25 That character its Sanhua.

The blindfold comes when she has 4 stacks of her skill/talent effects/mechanics.

Not really,i just love her design n i did pulled her even though i lose 50/50 there😂
I think the blindfold is just a protection for her eye when the flame burning on her bangs, since the skill may hurt herself.
@@ggalsorunning3762 but here a thing.. she already mastered her power n idk if it still logically to think that blindfold just for protection while that material is flammable n she burn it in her ultimate🫠
"we have a motivated camera..." Lmao! Love you see it

The gray hear girl is Sanhua, she is like the bodyguard and assistant of Jinshi

i like how good the transition from 3d in game model to 2d artwork of the character trailers in wuwa
MC in each game
1. Wuthering waves- Rover
2. Genshin impact- Traveller
3. Honkai star rail- Trailblazer
4. Zenless zone zero- proxy , master ( there is no collective name for them ) or may be I just don't know 😂
Proxy. Master is the title the Victoria Housekeeping Co Gave Them.

I just pulled her this morning! My god the animation of her summon was just stunning!
The protagonist character is found in an amnesiac state (shocker), and since they can't remember where they belong, they were nicknamed "Rover" as one who, well, roves. Pretty cool for the trope. Sounds old-timely.
The amnesia is in fact an extremely important part of the plot here, because the Rover is the protector of the entire planet
I pulled for her, got her without spending any money. She's super fun, has some really nice animations, the aerial combat is wicked.
"The camera is motivated"
as it zooms in on her thighs
I can see why. lol
Rover is the character you play as
why am i not getting ur recommendations anymore? guess i need to use the bell, in case ur shadowbanned or something
