Man Wuwa is actually so god damn fun it takes me back to when I started playing genshin for the first time.
Sanhua, the ice girl with the mark in her red eye, is actually blind. Because of the mark in her eye she can "see" frequencies, so I like to imagine it's how Daredevil sees.

um..not really the same setting mate...Wuwa is based on the sound concept and i would dare to say soem science behind soundwave and weighlenghts...not the same premise as death stranding...
@@sinafey7030 No, but certain concepts have been inspired by it. Such as similarities between BTs (which are created from the dead like how some TDs are). There is also a rain known as "Timefall" that rapidly ages and deteriorates whatever it hits which is similar to retroact rain which shows visions and phantoms of the past.

42:08 Physical mutations are a result of overclocking. Overclocking is when a resonator (people with special powers) exceeds their limits and loses control of their forte (powers) due to stress or overexertion. Many of the playable characters have some sort of physical mutation because of this. Yinlin's mutation manifested as elf ears, Mortefi has dragon scales, Yangyang's hair is partially bird feathers etc. Basically it's just an easy way of having the freedom to design a bunch of cool characters.

Now this got me curious about Yinlin elf ears. Does she have a long lifespan? Consider elven have a longer lifespan than normal human can have
Some of the mutations you mentioned aren't from overclocking but their resonator awakenings, like Yinlin's ears and the vines on Verina. Calcharo would be an example of physical mutations caused by overclocking.

The two characters you've seen with the black and grey color scheme in several of the trailers, that's Rover, I like how Kuro interchanges the two versions of Rover in their trailers and sometimes even show both.
54:54 Rover is us, the Player. In game, he lost his memory so Rover is our nickname for now. Like how the whole teyvat call us Traveller but we will find our name soon.
The character I am most excited for is Phrolova (Scar's sister). She looks amazing, and her voice actor is the same person who voices Sonetto from Reverse 1999, one of my favorite games of all time!

In appearance she resembles more Luna, although It seems Kuro took inspiration from Bambinata too 💕. For me, the things that remind me of Jinhsi with Luna are both kinda equal when it comes about being a leader, but opposite where one protects her people and the other hates humans. One was loved and well treated and one was traumatized. One lived in a world that's still healing and one in a world that seemed not to have hope. Also, that scene of Luna and Jinhsi walking in snow or Luna having horns (art) but one broken and Jinhsi having two horns. Both can levitate in gameplay...
(Because of this I got more emotional than I should when I saw Jinhsi's quest 😭)
people will probably tell you, but when you get to trying wuwa turn down the "brightness" in the settings for the best visual experience :)

Rover is what people call the MC, like how Genshin MC goes by traveler and Star Rail MC goes by Trailblazer. Playing right now gives you a lot of incentives, they even give you a free 5 star character selector, you can get Jianxin in that selector for free.

The difference in these games and WUWA is that WUWA make the MC so important and is massive damage dealer, even more in HAVOC. And Genshin MC is really useless most of the time.

Wuwa is using the platform unreal engine so graphics are more beautiful than genshin for me
It is far less bright and cartoonie, but I do quite like the vibe so far!
Yes because it's a post apocalyptic world that's why it's not that colorful than genshin and uses more black aesthetic on clothes of characters
its crazy to me that many gacha player dont know about Wuwa.

Amongst the current playable characters, I like Encore's personality & lore the most
(She has a tragic backstory tho 🥺🥺)
Playstyle wise, my faves are Changli, Danjin, Encore & Rover (Jinhsi's really elegant & majestic, but I personally prefer snappy & crisp movesets)
Wish the combat SFX ASMR was added in the trailers, it makes the animations pop & the gameplay feel satisfyingly responsive (parrying, perfect dodges, each character's unique movesets)

Echoes are classified into four categories: Common, Elite, Overlord, and Calamity, each with a specific cost that determines how many can be equipped. Players can capture Echoes by defeating enemies, with a chance to absorb their Reverberations. Each Resonator can hold up to five Echoes, allowing for diverse combat strategies and team compositions
Tacet Discords - In Wuthering Waves are sentient beings formed from residual chaotic frequency energy, emerging from the Waveworn Phenomenon. They embody chaotic energy and can exhibit various characteristics based on their "diet" of frequencies, often reenacting moments from the lives of fallen soldiers14. Tacet Discords are categorized by threat levels-Common, Elite, Overlord, and Calamity-each representing their strength and unique traits. Players encounter them as formidable foes, requiring strategic combat approaches to defeat them effectively.
The thing with WuWa is, when you get your 4* to WuWa's equivalent of E6, some of them feel like and perform close to 5*. So yeah right now I'm focusing on my 5*'s but I got my sight on Danjin cause she's a blast to play and probly the strongest 4* of them all. Even outdpsing some 5* I wouldnt be surprised.
If you like the Trailer, then you must be also love the game.. Since in Wuthering Waves, the Trailer IS the gameplay itself... They took it from real battle gameplay, real story/lore gameplay.. All the trailers, advertising, and promotion, ARE REAL, no gimmicks and scams..
So yeah.. Def must try 11/10.. And the combat here is hard, so becareful😂.. genshin's combat difficulty is nowhere near to Wuwa's level..

Genshin: Rope action - character ability which must pay at least $300
Story is slow and meh until you meet Scar (fire Joker guy), but that doesn't take too long to happen when you're just focusing on the main quests. There's a skip button and it's ok to use now and then, especially for side quests, but I really recommend to give the story a chance from meeting Scar on. The combat in this game is INSANE, and exploration feels better (and more rewarding) than Genshin. I don't see a reason why you wouldn't like the game. Hopefully you'll try it soon, I finished 1.0 story today and I'm like... OOF. AAA game experience. Have fun.

Also the best thing about Wuwa is that every character plays differently from the rest, their kits are entirely different and no one character feels like an altered copy of another in the game, then even with that, the characters still combine very well with each other and have fun synergies
if you try playing the game, chapters 1-3 can be confusing but chapter 4 onwards is where things gets heated up! and also, yes it does seem similar to genshin but the combat is waay different, i suggest studying how the concerto and forte work is the first thing to do then the intro/outro skill before swapping teammates.... Eng dub quality is also a meehh for some characters so if you dont mind using other Dub like JP dub.
Yelan should have been showed more in disguises like YinLin as they both have the same occupation.

Imma be real, WuWa is the first game ive played in a long time, like not since The Witcher 3 that I play almost exclusively and now because of this amazing game im also playing Punishing Gray Raven which has the best combat ive ever played in my life.
Kuro Games are artists, I can't wait to see where both games lead and you best believe ill be playing till they get no more content.

Elements in this game dont have any gameplay mechanic other than to i guess give them an element. Some farming things have boosted damage for certain elements so id assume its gonna be similar to a future endgame where youll want to build a team of every element.

@@ChocolateKieran Waking of the World is a launch trailer, not cinematics. And there are only three cinematics if we don't count the story ones (which you probably don't want to watch if you consider playing the game yourself), I don't think 3 cinematics are enough to make a video but okay I guess.
