So Shorekeeper is basically the maintainer of something called the Tethys system. In short, the Tethys system analyzes lament disasters in detail by recreating them in vivid detail. Shorekeeper basically has to view these disasters playing out, with the emotions of all the victims intact as they succumb to despair. That tower she's looking at in that shot is the collection of data that the Tethys system uses to predict when a future disaster will happen. She's been stuck in this endless loop of watching these disasters play out, but Rover's return to her after so long (she was very close to Rover before they lost their memory) is both a happy reunion and a chance to change the fate of the world, so that the Tethys system doesn't need to be used anymore.
@@ZAIN-explorer The Tethis system uses the Laments that have been recorded in miniature blackholes to do its calculations by recreating everything down to the smallest grain of sand. The problem came about that Rover couldn't find a solution to the Laments using this emotionless process that has been going on for thousands, potentially (its not confirmed how old Rover was before their rebirth), millions of years. So Rover, who created Shorekeeper, after finding the Tethis system, and taught her everything they know about life and emotions, chose to be reborn and forget everything in order to find a new solution to these tragedies. Shorekeeper stayed and ran everything and was kinda lost for a long time unable to understand why her creator left her alone when they had promised to stay with them. She came to understand some human emotions during that time and found out she had the ability to Love as well when Rover came back. Shorekeeper felt that she needed to become the new Core of Tethis to allow the program to understand emotions to find a new solution and to keep the Tethis system from breaking from all the data it has stored and processed. Rover wouldn't allow that as in the time they have come back they have come to understand that Life, All Life, is not to be sacrificed for the Solution they are looking for. So Rover rescued Shorekeeper from becoming the new Core and allowed the Tethis system to be reset back to square one to give Shorekeeper the chance to experience life as a thinking feeling being now. Shorekeeper, in an act solely for herself, chooses to instead stay in the Black Shores to protect the ability for humanity to return if another Lament wipes everything out again. She embraces her role as Shorekeeper so that the Life she loves, Rover and their journey and the future of humanity, has a safe Shore to rest from their travels and to keep that place and knowledge safe.
@@charlescarnegie9380tethys system still being used The problem is without having rover or shorekeeper as a second core to maintain emotion to analysis The tethys system is no longer capable to solve the lament So they must to think about another solution Currently, tethys system still being used to predict lament activities
@@charlescarnegie9380correction. Rover didn't create SK. She already existed along with tethys. She was just in the form of a crystal. Only until rover's arrival SK was awaken and was given a form and started to learn things. Its also in SK story in her profile. Both her and tethys were created in hopes that it'll be used by the savior that they believe in, and that's rover.
The person in her eyes is the main character you play as in WuWa. That is why one eye shows a male and the other shows a female since you can play as either pending on what you decide when starting the game. They do a good job at making sure both versions are represented in their trailers.
I swear I was waiting for your reaction to this masterpiece for weeks, this is my favorite Wuwa trailer by far just because of the emotions it manages to bring into someone. I swear I always tear up a little at her soft expression in the end, finally reunited with the MC that's the one that gave her a purpose, a meaning to her life and if you've played the story, a new beginning ❤ thank you so much for this
09:21 An interesting detail of that scene is that if you look the reflect of MC in her eyes, in the left are the male MC and in the left its the female MC (that is the reason why the voice hear in that way).
Was waiting for this reaction! Your analysis is very relevant and interesting. You seem to be one of the only people that actually understand the trailer and the meaning behind the pictures.
There are many words to use when describing a trailer of any game, but this one is a definition of beautiful for me. It just makes me feel completely different than any other character trailer I have ever seen. Both visuals and the MUSIC, Kuro really cooked with this one
Thethys and Shorekeeper basically already exist for billion of years. Yes. And Rover came, another million, billion years old creature, gave her her purpose for her existence.
6:45 You're prolly the first person I've seen noticing the Gladiator reference with that shot. Lore-wise, it is more or less used in the same capacity as a space of personal refuge, where Maximus has his own "Elysium" and the Shorekeeper has the "End of Wandering".
9:19 not sure if you are aware, but as the person talking is the main character, and there's the male and female version, you can hear both gender in the ears and also in her eyes, one male and one female reflection. it's really cool. 10:24 That's her Ultimate skill if that makes sense. It creates a AOE effect that heals characters in the area and give some level of attack buff. Lore-wise, she is the leader of an organization that manages a system that predict the disaster you see in the trailer call Laments. So she herself is part of the system(that tower you see) that calculates the timing and location. The whole system treats the whole prediction using something like constellations, so astral modulation is like tuning the astral systems to calibrate the system. The true loremaster should be able to do it more clearly, but that's the simplified gist of it.
Believe it or not starting 9:52 is all in-game content (storekeepers attack cycles) except for the butterfly's in 10:44 really wished they include that in game if they do ow my
i think that is the 2nd INTRO skill. She can pull enemies at Basic atk 3. And after you turn in to butterfly when its full stack, she can direct the summoned butterfly atk enemies.
just search "Wuthering Waves Resonator Showcase | The Shorekeeper: Behind the Scenes - The Beginning of Our Story" in YT. You'll get the clean version of the music (and seeing the Pianist on 🔥🔥🔥 as extra)

Shorekeeper exists from a very long time but then rover finds her and make black shore and tethis system using Shorekeeper as core.(i think)
