@wolfgang_h3t I worked on an NHRA Pro Stock team for a few years, if you're traveling with the car to races then your job is not to push a fucking broom! I'm not saying he's a top-tier mechanic, but small race teams are only gonna hire a guy who's valuable in more than one area.
OPG upgrades are mostly recommended for manual mustangs rather than autos, because they are more prone for failure due to harmonics. Autos have the help of shifting near perfect at redline, where human error is more marginal with manuals, and honestly no need for an upgrade if you dont plan on shooting over 800-900 hp. Supersnake F150s and mustangs dont have upgraded OPG with their whipple setup and they come out just fine.

3:56 There's a reason it's called oxidation. The only reason fluoridation means "adding fluoride" instead of "binding an electronegative ion to another molecule" is because it took a lot longer to discover and isolate fluorine, as it's _literally a better oxidizer than oxygen_ so it's even _more_ reactive.
Technically, oxygen isn't unstable-- _it makes everything else around it unstable._ Rocket engines are designed to run out of liquid oxygen before they run out of fuel, so when you run out of both propellants the engine is washed down with hydrogen, methane, or kerosene instead. Because if the engine ran out while there is liquid oxygen running through the machinery, that oxygen will interact with the red-hot metal of the engine and burn it away.
@BogeyTheBear I got an A+ in undergrad intro chem and in the process learned that I have no business being any kind of bench scientist, so I'll cede the point. (And I didn't know that about rocket engines but I _do_ know what happens when you have oxygen, heat, and metal, so it makes total sense.)

Technically, oxygen isn't unstable-- _it makes everything else around it unstable._
Rocket engines are designed to run out of liquid oxygen before they run out of fuel, so when you run out of both propellants the engine is washed down with hydrogen, methane, or kerosene instead.
This is truly the best donut series you guys have done. Even outside of high low! Reminds me of old core donut! Ideas for next high low maybe ecoboost mustang, focus rs, SHO, 5.7 RT, things like those!
If donut bought the drag strip, that would be sick
Should have put nitro in both cars, turbo for low, supercharger for hi, and fueltech them both (FT700/hi FT450/low)
Turbos are much more efficient with nitro, wouldn't be "fair" at all
They say Donut is dead, nah it ain't
High car needs a trans cooler yall are probably burning it up breaking sensors and electronics.
I think they fried their solenoids.
Ah that’s a good possibility. I thought they came from factory with trans coolers.
@@sendingit2601 I think only the PP2/Mach1/GT350/500 has the coolers stock.
@@smykster007 interesting. I’ve always thought most autos came with transcoolers, especially newer vehicles.
@32:00 is the best moment I’ve seen in a Donut video. Mans just became a drag racer in the moment
Now I'm realize low budget not bad at all. Thanks for the advice, respect for you guys
Less than one min crew!!
Wait, so no TEMU nos/supercharger for the low car🥺🥲
lol I’m kinda bummed too, they didn’t struggle nearly hard enough with parts this season. 😂😂 But I do like the budget approach rather than cheapest everything.
