Dude your review is the ONLY one I’ve been waiting for on the 507k since shot show. I knew it was good as soon as I saw that first shot at 25yards after the 4th drop. I’ve wanted this sight for so long but wouldn’t put it on a CC pistol until it got the thumbs up from you. Keep up the great work. You’re doing amazing things for the average people who only buy 1 new gun a year to fill a perceived need.
I really like holosun but they need to chill out with all the logos they put on their optics. Seriously they put HOLOSUN in big block letters on all three sides of this optic. Looks like shit
He’s reviewing the pre production model of the 507k .If you look at holosun website they eliminated the brand logo on the top of the optic .Holosun kept the brand logo only on the right side of optic (opposite of buttons).
I carry a Sig P365XL. I have been wanting the 507K for a while now. Walked into my gun range on July 1st and they had one in the case. Cost was 299 with free installation and zeroed. My credit card jumped out of my wallet before I knew it. Very happy with my gun and now the RDS.
I'm not sure which I'm more anxious for. Getting a notification saying my 507K is being shipped or a notification stating my 43x build from Agency is complete. :D
Emmanuel Goldstein the slide is to narrow and you need to use a 1911 plate in order for it to work. This will avoid that problem and allow the optic to sit lower.
@@RidersRange I'm super interested in that. I ended up getting an adapter plate and put the 507c on my p365 XL instead. That's because everywhere I looked said I'd be waiting 3 months to get my hands on a 507k. It's not that much bigger and I like it. I have just over 500 rounds on it. I still want to switch back over when I get the chance to purchase a 507k.

@@bigmike716 go with the 507C X2 over the K model. I believe the plate #2 is the one for the footprint of the 507C, which is the RMR footprint, you could go with a Type 2 RMR instead of a 507c x2. The rmr is bombproof but it’s $100-$200 more than the 507c but again it’s gonna last the rest of your life. Since your gun is not the micro size of a 365xl or hellcat I would take advantage of the larger window and overall larger optic of the 507c or type 2 rmr size. I have a 507k on a 365xl and it’s a fkin fantastic product. Holosun makes several other pistol dot sights besides the 507C also, there’s the 508T the 509 but again, they are close to the cost of a Trijicon rmr

@@balisongsanonymous705 Olight PL Mini valkyrie is 600 lumens and works great. You just need to buy a bolt on rail adapter from tactical development or recover tactical. I got a tactical development rail adaptor myself.
My only suggestion would be to consider the 407K if you don't want/need the circle-dot reticle, and are willing to accept a 6-MOA dot instead of the 2-MOA on the 507K. The 407K is about $80 cheaper and is functionally and size-wise the same as the 507K, just with a 6-MOA dot only.
I bought a 407k for my off-duty carry, which is a new to me 43X. I had been carrying a SW Shield. I wanted the larger MOA dot as my eyesight ain’t what it used to be. My Dept only approved the Leupold & RMR for on- duty use. But the $600+ for the RMRcc is ridiculous and I dislike the having to remove the entire unit for battery change. After watching this I’m even more happy with my decision. Seems rugged and meets all my requirements. Thanks. I appreciate the real world testing and I’ll follow your channel here on out.
The 507/407k were designed specifically with the P365XL in mind. The mounting on a 365XL removes the rear sight so the minimal one on the optic body acts as the backup sight in that specific application.
I’ve always been loyal to Aimpoint but at this point (no pun intended) Holosun has proven it self by surviving all the testing Sagedynamics has put them thru over time.
Had my first accidental "drop test" the other day. Carrying it in the house from my car and slipped out, landed right on the back corner of my 407c. Only damage was a bit of the finish chipped. Your drop tests are justifiable from shoulder hights in my opinion.

It really does. His drop tests aren't practical at shoulder height but at a rare circumstance can happen. Had i not seen his review on the SRO that prob would have been on the pistol and id be out of $600+

Was recommended to you by a local gun shop that told me to go home and watch some of your videos so i can make a more educated decision, (i’ve just turned 21 and gotten into carry) and i must say you deserve more credit for the fine work you do, very well spoken and every test is exactly something we were hoping to see, i will be returning to the shop on my next day off to pick up the holosun 507k for my newley purchased hellcat osp.
I have been thoroughly impressed with holosun! I have the 507c which I’m loving. And i also have the holosun visible/IR laser which is several hundred dollars cheaper than the next option and I think works just as well.

Never liked optics on my Glock because I just can’t pick them up, so it’s slower. However this 507k, although it is smaller, fixes that. I find the dot each and every time without changing my presentation at all. Thanks for the review. This is the one and only red dot for me.
The answer isn't irons, it's train with the dot. Irons are slower to acquire than nothing, but we trained with them. If you can't find the dot train it.

Any reason not to put a 507K x2 on a Glock 19 ? Like if someone already had the optic new in the box. Otherwise I suppose I could sell the 507K at a loss and buy a C model. Let me know your thoughts, thanks
I’ve been looking for something to replace the Shield RMSc that came with my M&P 45 Shield, since I had to send it back to the UK because the lens was totally scratched. If this has the same footprint then I’m going to pick one up for sure. Thanks for this no BS review.

I own a 507k and a 407k. Even with astigmatism I like the 407k’s 6moa dot better. It’s actually crisper to me because I can lower the brightness more than the 2moa dot.
This its his job and he works with agency if course he's going to get equipment it's free advertising and he is a big reason they're able to charge you $950 for a blank slide and more than a thousand to modify your gun still using STOCK INTERNALLY.. well minus a trigger shoe.. I think they have a healthy and profitable relationship myself! I'm a little envious of it. But HE'S the right man for the job.
Basically rmr type 2 is still king .... even though I have a romeo zero..and fully intend on grabbing a 507k because I dont believe the sig sight would last a day with you hahaha ..it doesnt give me warm fuzzy feelings like an rmr does. Ok trijicon make us a mini RMR , ....GO!
Now it's not that I'm happy with what trijicon charges..... But if they make a mini RDS that is rmr worthy......that is "duty" rated.... I'd much rather have that on my carry gun.... Remark about their prices all you want it doesnt change the fact the rmr is a sight that has been well tested. Not saying I dont like, or am not planning on buying a holosun 507 Until trijicon gets off there ass..... But can you blame them? When a company that is as deep with security contracts like trijicon why try and compete with a lower end company making range toys for grown ups? Trijicon will continue to make expensive stuff and the "cheap" stuff is growing Now that doesnt mean holosun wont take up a huge part if the market because they will..... and I'm ok with that . Holosun is by far with the rest not even close the most innovative market leader in the micro optic game, With PSA coming out with and bringing to market without a 6 month P41cK tease high quality incredible new designs at fair prices, it's like the gun industry has gone 180 with PSA and Holosun being the most aggressive and innovative market leaders,I don't see these as budget low quality manufacturers like some still say, PSA have the best machines,use the same materials as the high end builders, top end designers and programmers and loads of money to work with, And holosun are in the same ballpark, Who else thinks that if the psa sabre had a gucci brand name on it the price would be at least double and maybe treble lol, Now there really are top end highest quality options available for a modest price considering the current market.
I'm glad you maintained your standard of testing. Some people might wind up in a fighting situation with these micro dots, and it's good to know if they are at least capable of surviving a hard fight.
I went with the 407K on the Canik elite sc. Only difference is that the 407 is dot only which is my preference. Thanks for turning me onto optics, it's been a game changer 👍👏
@@Cordova10-8 The 407's have 2, 3 and 6 MOA dots. Mine is the 2 MOA 👍 Also can get green or red dot. Only difference from the 507 is there is Only the dot.
15:20. Practice with your irons. Get your index and confidence. But get the dot while you're practicing. When you're confident with your drawstroke and sight alignment, then throw the dot on. If this is the dot you want, you'll still be able to see your irons through it, so it should be the perfect introduction in the red dot game.
I used to be able to get good quality ammo for like .45 a round for 5.56, coronavirus sucks. I dont mean plinking ammo, I mean boat tail hollow point ammo w good accuracy

Is it just me... or do his groups tend to get BETTER after the drop tests? Lol. The fact that they’re even working is impressive. The fact that they maintain zero so well is astounding.
That just shows the honesty of the process. If that’s his first zero... he’s still getting used to firing that new platform, so by the time he’s 2,000 rounds in, he hopefully should be firing better.
Steve Summerford I was thinking it was something along those lines- the zero is the same, minus a flier because he’s more experienced with that particular gat.

I'm thinking of running one of these on my G19/TLR7 carry gun because of it's small footprint and the minimal change I'll have to make to my holsters (a White Hat IWB carried strong side @ ~4:00) and the lower height so I can keep my I-dot Pros which I know and love. Any reasons not to that I'm overlooking???
Hi Aaron, forgive me if this is answered somewhere else. The fiber optic front sight in combination with the red dot, an advantage or a distraction? Debating what backup suppressor height sights to use, all black or fiber front. I'd like to also pose the same question for tritium sights in combination with the red dot at night advantage or distraction? Thank you in advance.

The iron sights co-witness. The rear sight is on the Holosun now.
Just got my 507k from a Lgs for $229 and they are selling for $500 on eBay right now.

I am planning to get my P07milled for the 507k. Cowitness with factory sights too which is awesome!
The P365XL has an optics plate that includes the rear sight, so adding an optic loses the rear sight. The rear sight on this would give you something.

Any plans to review the Swamp Fox Sentinel? It competes in the same category of micro optics as the 507k and RMR CC.

Great review. Thank you. I put this on a 365XL. I like the optic a lot. I really like the circle around the dot. It helps older eyes quite a bit.
I’ve been looking for something to replace the Shield RMSc that came with my M&P 45 Shield, since I had to send it back to the UK because the lens was totally scratched. If this has the same footprint then I’m going to pick one up for sure. Thanks for this no BS review.

I own a 507k and a 407k. Even with astigmatism I like the 407k’s 6moa dot better. It’s actually crisper to me because I can lower the brightness more than the 2moa dot.
Aaron has an Agency Glock for every optic out there.
This its his job and he works with agency if course he's going to get equipment it's free advertising and he is a big reason they're able to charge you $950 for a blank slide and more than a thousand to modify your gun still using STOCK INTERNALLY.. well minus a trigger shoe.. I think they have a healthy and profitable relationship myself! I'm a little envious of it. But HE'S the right man for the job.
Holosun never ceases to amaze me with the quality of their optics especially when you look at the price tags of other options out there!!!
Made in China keeps the price highly competitive. If these were made in the U.S.of A, they’d be twice the cost.

even though I have a romeo zero..and fully intend on grabbing a 507k because I dont believe the sig sight would last a day with you hahaha

But if they make a mini RDS that is rmr worthy......that is "duty" rated....
I'd much rather have that on my carry gun....

With PSA coming out with and bringing to market without a 6 month P41cK tease high quality incredible new designs at fair prices, it's like the gun industry has gone 180 with PSA and Holosun being the most aggressive and innovative market leaders,I don't see these as budget low quality manufacturers like some still say,
PSA have the best machines,use the same materials as the high end builders, top end designers and programmers and loads of money to work with,
And holosun are in the same ballpark,
Who else thinks that if the psa sabre had a gucci brand name on it the price would be at least double and maybe treble lol,
Now there really are top end highest quality options available for a modest price considering the current market.
I'm glad you maintained your standard of testing. Some people might wind up in a fighting situation with these micro dots, and it's good to know if they are at least capable of surviving a hard fight.

I went with the 407K on the Canik elite sc. Only difference is that the 407 is dot only which is my preference.

Also can get green or red dot. Only difference from the 507 is there is Only the dot.

15:20. Practice with your irons. Get your index and confidence. But get the dot while you're practicing. When you're confident with your drawstroke and sight alignment, then throw the dot on. If this is the dot you want, you'll still be able to see your irons through it, so it should be the perfect introduction in the red dot game.

How’s the cost of ammo? Saw wolf gold .223 on bulk ammo go from 85k rounds to sold out in less than 24 hours. And it was .50 a round.
I used to be able to get good quality ammo for like .45 a round for 5.56, coronavirus sucks.

Will you test other MRDs, in particular the Sig Romeo Zero, the Shield RMSc, and the Swampfox Sentinel and the Raton Optics X3?
I'll save you time and just tell you the Romeo is horrible, I tired three and none worked well zero wise, clarity wise, distortion, and bending of the body
Is it just me... or do his groups tend to get BETTER after the drop tests? Lol. The fact that they’re even working is impressive. The fact that they maintain zero so well is astounding.
That just shows the honesty of the process. If that’s his first zero... he’s still getting used to firing that new platform, so by the time he’s 2,000 rounds in, he hopefully should be firing better.
Steve Summerford I was thinking it was something along those lines- the zero is the same, minus a flier because he’s more experienced with that particular gat.
I’m pretty sure he vices the guns when he does zeros.

SO stoked to see this review. I'm thinking of running one of these on my G19/TLR7 carry gun because of it's small footprint and the minimal change I'll have to make to my holsters (a White Hat IWB carried strong side @ ~4:00) and the lower height so I can keep my I-dot Pros which I know and love. Any reasons not to that I'm overlooking???

Hi Aaron, forgive me if this is answered somewhere else. The fiber optic front sight in combination with the red dot, an advantage or a distraction? Debating what backup suppressor height sights to use, all black or fiber front. I'd like to also pose the same question for tritium sights in combination with the red dot at night advantage or distraction? Thank you in advance.
