A. Adam West(R.I.P)
B. Big Figs(which were introduced in Lego Marvel Superheroes)
C. Lantern Corps
but lego batman 3 is mostly batman variants...
But lb3 doesn't have good free roam like Lb2

Conner Gaskell Lego Batman 2 had the best open world, but Beyond Gotham had the best roster.
Playing both of these games, I’d say lego batman 2 beats the third edition by a lot. Lego batman 2 was by far the best lego game of its time, it basically paved the path of lego games to come after, and lego batman 3 was just a disappointment, particularly in its free roam, the roster may be bigger and move extensive, but overall the second incarnation of the series is the best

bobstercob 13 you should probably rethink that, yes marvel superheroes was a good game and probably better than its sequel, but lego batman was made way before marvel superheroes time and if they were made at the same time, I’d bet a lot that batman would outsell/beat marvel superheroes
I could be wrong however I disagree, I haven't played lego batman 2, although from what I've seen, to me lego batman 3 is the best lego game, don't judge me for saying that, it's just my opinion, I have to clarify that because usually when I share an opinion everyone starts an argument, no need for that
I would say lego batman 3 is a Disappointment. I found Many things i didnt like about the game the free roam wasnt as good as lego batman 2 because it felt smaller and i just wasnt into the whole exploring the planets that much. They mabye could have done better somehow with that and the flash and other speedsters were way to slow he looked good and his animations and attacks were good but when it came down to his speed abilities it just wasnt as good. And yes lego batman 2 flash wasnt super fast either but for its time it looked really great! I remember saying omg i want this game sooo bad because the flash is so fast and it looks awesome when he runs. Plus superman has one more abiltie in lego batman 2 his power breath . They took that out in LB3 which bugged me. LB3 had a great roster and more cool abilities and look alot sleeker buut overall id still give it to Lb2 also i was dissapointed in the poisin ivey character I don’t know if your remember in Lego Batman one her abilities were amazing she kissed the guy then he dies and she blew death/poisiness kisses. Now in the newer games she just has a vine whip and isnt as fun.

Although LEGO Batman two had the city free roam, I really enjoyed the space free roam, and the justice hall and the legion of doom hall.
You are also missing the Batman Beyond pack and all the dlc for lb2
DC super villains is like a combination of both. It's got a character roster as big as lbm3 and a proper open world instead of small hubs.
I can't express how nostalgic that "Creepy Joker face in the bottom left corner" was for me

I pick lego batman 2 based mostly on the fact that it was the first ever video game I bought (It was on the wii) so I have a great deal of nostalgia for it and all the characters. Great vid, I've been watching for years!

For most of you chaps, if you didn't know, the Grey hat the Riddler had in LEGO Batman 2 was actually how he appeared in some Batman media and comics, It does not match yes, but this game and the first one were influenced by The Batman Animated Show, you'll see what I'm saying once you compare them in terms of characters.

Absolutely loved LB2 when it came out in 2012. Free-roam and more focus on batman rather than the justice league as a whole. Though, the original LB was my favorite by far. Hoping for a remaster if the studio ever thinks of one.
Next we’ll have to compare LEGO Dc super villains ( when blitz completes it) to the winner of this one.

I ended up picking up both usually i would be fine sacrificing a character roster but LBM2 has way less characters
Only thing that I really like about 3 is being able to glide as Batman whenever you want; if that was in 2 it would have been the absolute best
Lego Batman 3 seems like it gave in to corporate pressure a lot more with the DLC packs featuring characters from movies and what have you. (Shazam is cool though,)

Based solely on the rosters, Batman 3 by a long shot; If free roam is included I have to say I still dream of exploring the LEGO Batman 2 world, it was wonderful fun and dark. The overall winner is 3 just in terms of roster but tie if put together
He's asking about the character roster not the overall game and 3 blows 2 out of the water with characters. You get so many more characters in 3 and half of them aren't even in 2. Plus 3 was celebrating the New 52 books which were to recent when 2 came out and 3 was also celbrating Batman's 75th anniversy so that's why there are so many more versions of Batman

Depends, Lego Batman 2 has better free roam as it's a full city to explore and you can drive any where instead of being in multiple smaller areas, with only one planet to use vehicles. But Lego Batman 3 has a lot more characters, it embraced the DC Comics Universe a little more with its multiple Worlds and Characters and had More DLC.

I liked Lego Batman 2 because you could actually play in Gotham, like Batman is made in Gotham and the game does not even add it. But Blitz, u missed out Starfire, Raven, and Rainbow Batman in LEGO Batman 3

If I were to vote for a Lego batman game, but only between Lego batman 2 and Lego batman 3 , I would prefer Lego batman 3.

Lego Batman 3 so many unique characters and lego batman 2 has great places to be
Lego Batman 3. For these 5 reasons.
1. Better roster
2. Cooler Batman designs (because I prefer his New 52 design to the black bat suit.)
3. Inclusion of Nightwing and other important members of the Bat-Family.
4. Access to the Watch Tower and a better Batcave.
5. The retro 1966 Batman level and characters.

I think the free roam is the best aspect of Lego Batman 2. I mean for a Lego game it looks so good. And it has that batman comic book vibe to it
