Hey in one of the comics with Mr mxyzptlk he says that he's the same dude throughout all of dc and he shows a couple iterations of himself including a lego minifigure. Meaning the lego universe is one of the multiverse earths or a iteration of one of the earths. So it DID/DOES/WILL exist somewhere in dc multiverse timeline
Another thing against Lego Batman 3 is them saying Brainiac is from Colu. In the comics that’s how he is, a scientist from the planet Colu, but in the DCAU he’s an AI from Krypton.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but Clayface’s bio thing in the DS version of Lego Batman 1 refers to him as “Treasure hunter Matt Hagen” so this could mean that the handheld and console ports of the first game are slightly different universes, meaning it’s possible that the handheld versions could still be canon
@@christianbryan6961 And Matt Hagen could have coexisted with Basil Carlo, yet the video ruled out LEGO Batman 1 as canon to the DCAU due to Basil Carlo's inclusion. But of course, the DCAU doesn't have anything made of LEGO bricks, and LEGO Batman was never intended to tie into the DCAU in the first place, plus everyone in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham being unfamiliar with Brainiac makes the entire LEGO Batman game series not canon to the DCAU. What's next? Is there going to be a video checking if LEGO Batman is canon to the Dark Knight trilogy? Oh, Harvey's death shortly after he became Two-Face is going to end that video quick.
Shout-outs to that one DLC level in LEGO DC Supervillains that straight-up retells the events of "Mask of the Phantasm," I guess. Sure, the movie tie-in DLC Levels aren't canon, but it's neat that it happened, period.
I always thought the LEGO Games continuity worked like a parallel to the current comics but that would open another can of worms, trying to make everything cohesively fit
There's 11 different people who took on the mantle of clayface in main continuity of the comics, and many of them have overlapped with each other, with there actually being a storyline with 3 different clayfaces working together and two of them having a child making 4 clayfaces to be featured in the same story (Batman: the Mud Pack)
If you use Watchtower Database, and even the shows themselves, than we know Hal Jordan can’t be a Lantern during the first run of JL. And that he doesn’t become a GL until after the episode, “The Return” in JLU, due to us learning that John and Kyle are the only human Lanterns. And if we preface that Lego Batman 2 takes place right after Secret Origins, than the JL roster just doesn’t match. And we know that the JL doesn’t get new members til after Starcrossed. 13:30 this does not happen in DCAU canon. And we see that the Kryptonite that Batman does keep to stop Superman most likely came from the chunk he took from Lex in “Injustice Society” In the DCAU, the Joker was never the Red Hood. And was instead a hit man for the mob. We even see he wasn’t in a costume when he fell into a vat of acid. I know this video was for fun, and to see if the subject was even possible. So no hate. In my opinion, it just seems that the creatives of this game were heavily inspired by the DCAU. This universe is no more canon than the Keaton-Verse is to this series. And if we include the Lego Movies and Lego DC Supervillains, than this really becomes a mess when trying to merge it with DCAU’s lore and timeline

There's 1 crucial evidence that can make or break the Barry Allen being Lego Batman 3's flash The fact that Kid Flash exists in the base game no DLC character roster, the ginger kid Flash, it could either be a canon thing, or it can just be there to fill out the roster like... Idk? Arkillo or smth? Actually no wait, since STAS takes place before LBM3 (in this hypothetical timeline), it wouldn't make sense since that Flash is Wally, so this Kid Flash is either an imposter or he's not canon
I think everyone who watched the shows and played the games somehow connects them, I even made a mod switching the score of 1, 2 and Beyond to their DCAU counterparts.
I hope the next Lego Batman game will give Jason Todd red hood a more extensive role in the game. I mean imagine voice line interactions. You have joker saying how he passed the red hood mantle down and Jason says “how by beating me to death?” Also just stuff with other characters like black mask should have voice lines and says the quote from the animimsted movie and says how he wants him dead like head mounted on my wall dead and Jason just says he can arrange it to go the other way. Just I think Jason should have a voice and same for black mask as I think a new game should just be Batman. I mean he has the bat family with nightwing, red hood, Red Robin, batgirl, and Robin. Also nowadays we can get more villains like black mask, ras a gouhl, Hugo strange, kite man, condiment king, calendar man, victor zsaz, and the ventriloquist and Scarface all having some big roles with the modern game scopes.
This is a amazing theory but no matter what the lego Batman series is not connected it's obviously it's own earth or alternative universe just like the Lego marvel 1 and 2 is different from any adaptations in comics shows or movies they are there own things
Well, the games make multiple references to the fact that the characters are made of LEGO, and the DCAU is not made up of LEGO people, so I'm gonna say it's a hard no, but this was a great video that had me questioning a lot of what I knew about both the DCAU and Batman Lego games
feels like these are alternate universes of each other, the events of one happen in the other but slightly differently like with the identity of the flash
This is interesting to me as Lego Batman 3 and super villains feature Batman beyond and BTAS character packs respectively, I guess these could just be seen as non canon DLC or something but an interesting note nonetheless.
In Lego Batman 1 it says that red hood fell into the vat of chemicals and became the joker while in the dcau joker also was a gangster but more like Jack Napier although his name isn’t confirmed.
While I do appreciate this your video, I just simply don’t think the LEGO Batman Games are canon to the DCAU Lore. Sure, LEGO Batman 1 takes a lot of cues from the Animated Series and it’s sequel the New Animated Adventures, but it also took cues from the comics at the time, as well as using music & references to the Old Batman movies of the 90s. Not only that, but Batman Stories using DCAU lore’s very common. With the Arkham Games initially using Mad Love as the origin for Harley Quinn before Arkham Origins retconned it (Not to mention Batman says the iconic “I Am Vengeance, I am the Night, I am Batman” line in the Joker nightmare scene in Arkham Knight.), and the comics would later integrate their own spins on the DCAU lore throughout the 2000s & 2010s. That doesn’t mean all of them are canon to the DCAU, I just think the DCAU had reshaped DC that of course they’re gonna reference them into other media in some way. Bottomline, the LEGO Batman Games don’t really have much deep lore, but its just great that the games references other DC Media into their games.

Here’s my theory The dcau as a show exists in the LEGO Batman timeline Plus some events that happened in the DCAU even happened here just the ones that don’t contradict anything and were listed as events that actually happened in Lego Batman, the video game and of course, one more thing The DCAU and the Lego Batman games are not in the same universe however, according to my theory, the dcau exist as a show and sadly nothing more than that here’s why the joker didn’t wear the red hood costume which implies that he was never the red hood in the DC animated universe.
why not call it an alternate canon lego universe? i mean, thats always as what i viewed it. its mainly the same with minor differences. just like an alternate dimension
Of course LEGO Batman isn't canon to the DCAU. It's its own thing. The only reason there are any DCAU references is because the DCAU was so popular that DC puts those Easter eggs in everything. Harley Quinn came from the DCAU. Also, LEGO Batman 3 and LEGO DC Super-Villains had DCEU DLC levels. Does that make them canon to the DCEU? No. LEGO Batman 3 had a Dark Knight DLC level. Does that make it canon to the Nolanverse? No. LEGO Batman 3 has a bonus level based on the 1960's Batman show. Does it make it canon to that show? No. The music from LEGO Batman mostly came from the 1989 movie. Does that make them canon to the Burtonverse? No. The LEGO Batman games references different DC media that are completely isolated from each other in the multiverse, and yet the multiverse wasn't introduced until LEGO Dimensions which had Batman travel through non-DC worlds with Gandalf and Wyldstyle, and when you don't count that crossover game, then the multiverse was introduced in LEGO DC Supervillains when the Crime Syndicate came from Earth-3.
