- Join us for the first day of our FIRST DISNEY CRUISE! This is a Memorial Day weekend May 2022 3-night cruise on the Disney Dream, sailing out of Port Canaveral through the Bahamas! In this first video, we bring you along as we navigate boarding the ship, give you a stateroom tour of our deluxe stateroom with verandah, show you the sail away party, lunch at Cabanas, the on-ship buffet, dinner at Enchanted Garden, we see the Golden Mickeys at The Walt Disney Theatre, and watch the ship sail away from Florida and into the open sea! On this first evening of our Disney Cruise, we get our bearings and explore the ship. This is also one of the last times the Disney Dream will be sailing out of Port Canaveral, as soon it will be moving to the Port of Miami and the Disney Wish will move to Port Canaveral!
This is just PART 1, day 1 of the videos that are to come from this sailing, so stay tuned for more as we swim in the pools, enjoy the Aqua Duck slide, snorkel at Castaway Cay and more in the next installments of this series coming soon! 11 minutes in and you’ve already shown more details in that time than most other cruise vlogs show in an hour. The ship ties, the clocks with Disney park times from around the world, the cool room lamps! Little details but they matter so much! Great vlog!

I have super enjoyed watching this, I have never tried going on a cruise and never had the desire to do it either but after watching this I am now rethinking and putting it on my list for 2022! Thanks so much for sharing this, you're amazing! I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for dream vacation destination like this. Thought I'd share it to you guys too!

Disney Cruises are a little more expensive, but anyone who has been on diff cruises will tell you Disney is best Superior service, great shows. If you like casinos, you won't find one on Disney. The kids aren't an issue because they have so many activities for them.

So great to see some rookies sharing their unique first time adventures. So often vlogs you find are being created by cruise veterans and they gloss over a lot of the simple things. Thank you for giving someone like me who has not cruised but would like to an honest idea of what to expect

If guests do want to change their dining time to a different one, it can be done on Embarkation Day at Guest Services as well as it will be noted in the app where to go to make changes. The same thing can be done for booking mixology classes and specialty dining if they are sold out pre sailing!
We are going on the Dream for the 1st time. Sailing out of NYC in October to Bermuda! Watching your video again! Do you have any on Bermuda? Enjoy your channel!

Omg thank you for the tip about the motion sick medicine!! That is the part I was most nervous about and I didn’t need it once the whole cruise!! But just knowing it was there like psychologically somehow helped me!!

Yes, I have a video of that day too up if you want to see it - it was so crazy and we had such a crazy adventure getting back to the ship! but we did get to snorkel before the storm started!
Almost forgot to mention that if you have IPhone, you can Apple message anyone else with an iPhone for no additional fees. I stayed in touch with those checking up on my elderly Mom

Am I correct, even if you pass a covid test, you need all shots and boosters at this time?
At this time you need to be fully vaccinated which means two shots of Pfeizer or Moderna or one J&J. No boosters required at this time.

So much fun! Watching Sam pop the champagne toward the TV gave me anxiety until he said he worked in a restaurant. LOL I've only been on one cruise - a Carnival cruise for my friend's Bachelorette. Disney Cruises look amazing, but I always worried about the concentration of kids/families compared to other cruise lines. The food, service, and activities always look amazing and Castaway Cay seems worth it - can't wait to see your time there! The veranda room looks clutch!
Hahaa yes I was so nervous too but he handled it like a pro! Honestly my biggest takeaway from the whole cruise is how much there is for adults, bc that was one of my biggest concerns too. I’m editing day 2 rn and im in the adults only pool and hot tub and then day 3 we go to the adults only beach on Castaway Cay, I got enough characters and Disney feel for my inner child and enough adults focused things to feel like I had an adult Disney cruise haha! I was very pleasantly surprised!

I think that had more to do with my late husband’s travel choices
rather than mine but I’m not complaining.

Lovely! When I did the Fantasy a few years ago, I booked cabin 5520 since it is a "double wide" with 2 large port hole windows, a divider wall and 2 TVs, almost like a mini suite, but cost less than a veranda. We liked that the cabin was wider and has more room to it. You might want to check out those Cat 8 "double wide" cabins next time.
Congrats on your first cruise! We did ours on the Fantasy last year one of the first trips back. It was incredible!
