- Join us as we board the Disney Fantasy for a 7-night cruise out of Port Canaveral to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Castaway Cay!
This first video will take you from the All-Star Music Resort at WDW to Port Canaveral by way of the Magical Express. Then, after testing and waiting for that all-important Clear to Sail, we'll board the ship and take you around a bit before giving you a tour of our room (category 04B)!

That all depends on where you're starting out from! We took Disney transportation there so we wouldn't have to worry about parking/directions/etc. but it seems like your GPS/Google Maps should get you to the terminal no problem 😊

Cruiseday, part one.
Cove Café is my fav spot. Way back when the Magic and Wonder launched it was called Common Grounds. And it was the teen club/coffee shop. I remember getting a VHS in the mail as a kid back in 1997 and learning about this cool coffee shop just for us teens on this new Disney cruise ship.
Oh wow! We didn't know the history of Cove Cafe, so that's awesome to know. Funny to think it was a combo teen club and coffee shop! 😄
So fun to see your Western Caribbean cruise! We got off the Fantasy and are in the middle of uploading our vlogs from our cruise from our Eastern Caribbean sailing. So great to see other’s perspectives and the differences between the western & eastern itineraries. Thanks for sharing!

Exciting! We just booked our cruise on the Fantasy! Do you remember how the bed was? Was it foam or spring?
How exciting, congrats on the cruise!! We're not 100% certain, but we think it was a spring bed. It was *incredibly* comfy though, so much so that we dream about another cruise if only to sleep on that bed again! 😅
We are going on our first 7 day Fantasy cruise in May, what month did you go?
Ahhh how exciting! Ours was at the end of April (the 23rd-30th to be exact) so very close in timing. The weather was great, so hopefully you'll get the same 😊

Not sure if you can remember this but what time were your bags picked up from your room? What time did you live Disney World and then arrive at the port?
I am looking for your best recall as I am going on the Fantasy in January.

Thanks Asmira! There was actually a mix up with our luggage and we were told we didn’t have to have them ready in the morning for pickup (which wasn’t true 🙃) so we got marked as having no bags! Luckily, they were still able to check them when we got to the lobby in the morning. We were supposed to leave WDW around 9AM, but we think our bus got on the road closer to 915-930. We got our clear to sail at 10:54, which probably put our arrival to Port Canaveral at around 10:30 AM. Hope that helps!

I know how that goes! I missed a few myself last year. But yeah, we went. And despite us being rookie cruisers, we had an amazing time! Weather was good and the scenery was literally breathtaking. I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life.

Have the Eastern Caribbean in less than three weeks. This will be my third Disney cruise, with a fourth booked in December. I wish we could opt out of the Castaway Club stuff. I don’t need a million backpacks, especially if they’re all the same.
Oh my gosh, we hope you had a great time on the Eastern cruise last year! That one is definitely on our list the next time we're in Florida, along with the Wish. We think we heard that new Castaway Club gifts may be coming out soon, so we're excited to see what else we might be getting in the future besides backpacks!

When we prepare for cruises, we love watching others' personal experiences on them, so we filmed & edited our own videos with that intention as opposed to it being purely informational. We also filmed & edited this to be a video that we ourselves can watch and look back on to remember our amazing trips 😊
