I love how he's just posting his video resume and framing it as normal content. a great way to get it out there.
I mean, I don't think he's really struggling financially. Pretty sure his subs alone are a good chunk of change, not even factoring in advertising, sponsors, and being I believed partnered in Twitch. I doubt he'd open things like Fallout's MTG if he was having a hard time. Pretty sure this is just a general send off to the fans out there.
@@avancarr8690 In recent videos he's talked about how he's doing okay for now, but he is going to start looking for work soon-ish because what he does now on his own won't sustain him forever. So yeah, he's doing okay now. But for how long?

I have been laid off from a few jobs in the past and it was a hassle. It's been a hassle recently. I'm actually starting a new career position on Monday. I can't imagine losing something like this after 15 or so years where many of your friends work. I'm so sorry, Jack, and to all your teammates.
I also got laid off at a job at uchellos cause it was too slow.

Jack is one of the most creative, talented and genuine people on the internet - I'm sad RT's gone, but anywhere the cast and crew go next will end up immensely better for including them.

RT will always be missed, but I was far more attached to AH. I really wish the best for them all going forward. They got me through a lot of rough times over the years.
Jack WAS Extra Life, that entire concept would not exist without Jack, idc about the back end mechanics, Jack was the heart of Extra Life, and you were the true honest soul of Achievement Hunter. RT was iconic in my life for over a decade, I loved it, and I love you and can see only success in your future going forward, whether it be in media and entertainment, or just as a paragon of humanity.

Jack, I am typing this while fighting the tears. You were someone at RoosterTeeth that I could always count on to be a positive light. You brought out so much in everyone though Achievement Hunter, Inside Gaming, and Extra Life. I would plan my vacation from work so I could watch as much Extra Life as possible. Keep taking care of the world you wonderful, kind, bearded man.

I feel like I have to say that out of all of the achievement hunter people, I do think you were one of my least favorites. I think it was something about our personality that never mixed. I never let me hold that against you. You are an amazing creator. Your passion, your love, and your joy shine through every project you've worked on. Plus you're the magic man behind extra life. Youre one of the greatest people to have had a launching point from RT. You'll kill it in these upcoming years, and even if I am not there for it, I am excited for you. Lots of love!

Jack, you likely won't read this, but I wanted to say thank you. Thank you and thank everyone you worked with at Achievement Hunter. All of you helped me laugh when I was going through some personal hell. The videos from Achievement Hunter will be missed along with all the camaraderie you all had together.
My favourite part about modding for RT, was the fact that nothing was ever out of my reach. If I said I wanted to try something, I got told "we'll see what we can do". I got to try my hand at so much, and was supported and encouraged every step of the way. I love the fact that the I-can-wear-as-many-hats-as-I-want attitude RT has is so visible in this video and through the work Jack has done. Apart from the people, it was my favourite part of working for RT for 3 and half years.
I'm now doing my Public Relations MA in New York and I'm so grateful to Rooster Teeth for getting me here. Good luck wherever you go Jack, whatever team you end up in next will be so so lucky to have you

Extra Life streams were one of the highlights of my time as a fan, and I always felt the earnestness and love that went into it. I remember being a sleep deprived college student desperately trying to stay up for 2spooky, excited to see all the bits I missed, and waking up just in time to bawl my eyes out before class as the stream wrapped up and I saw how much good the community was able to do. It actually inspired me to help spearhead making our college's gaming club do an extra life stream for Boston Children's, and I'm very excited to see what comes around for this year. So much love to you Jack, there's a reason I've always stayed following you, and it's your heart and dedication.
Even though I haven't watched any RT content for the past 4-5 years, I did watch since I was 7 (5th season of RVB just came out), and I will say that you have always been a true genuine person who cares about everyrhing he does, as well as the fans. I remember meeting you at Let's Play Live Tampa either my freshman or sophomore year of college and got to talk to you and you were just the most kind and welcoming person I have ever met. I still have the pictures and cherish them deeply bc despite the fact that I haven't been keeping up w RT stuff, you guys will always hold a special place in my heart. A lot of my humor and vernacular was influenced by you guys and you truly made my childhood.
I trust anywhere you go and anything you do in the future will be elevated by your presence. 🙏
This really reminded me of how much GOLD Jack produced, pitched, or show ran at RT. I've always adored Jack but I guess i never really grasped how iconic you truely are for RT's success.
We love you, Jack. You were so integral to Rooster Teeth, and thus, integral to making so many people feel at home.
I didn't watch a tonne of RT stuff these last 2 years or so but I was an avid fan starting from Minecraft Episode 3: Plan G onwards and watched everything that was put out for many many years. I think I was 11 when I started watching (definitely way too young but eh) and I'm turning 23 next month. You guys were a huge part of my life and had a huge impact on how I grew up and kinda formed into the person I am today.
From the bottom of my heart Jack, thank you for everything you did. Thank you for an incredible childhood, thank you for tens of thousands of hours of laughs from minecraft, GTA, let's role, destiny raids, haunter, off topic, RT podcast, get gud, all of it, thank you for the years and years of backbreaking effort and work that went into putting the whole thing together. You were the heart and soul of AH and i can't understate how important and impactful you were to it all.
Good luck in the future. I can't wait to see the new projects you'll be spearheading and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for you.

As someone who turns 30 next year and (believe it or not) began watching RvB when I was 9 years old, and actually used your Assassin’s Creed guides to collect all the flags back when I was 14-genuinely Jack-thank you a billion times over for making my high school and young adult life bearable until now.
The content you made at AH gave me something to look forward to and enjoy when most days I absolutely did not want to be alive anymore.
Whether it was Fails of the Weak, HORSE, LP Minecraft, 3D Ultra Mini Golf, or GTA 12 years ago, I felt like I just HAD to see what you guys would do or say next-and that was enough to distract me from how awful I felt every day, and gave me something to try to stay around for.
later content like TTT, Haunter, Hardcore Golf/Tabletop, and the whole IG adventure have been a comfort to watch in the years since.
Regardless of what it was, your kindness and love for what you do have always shined through, and it's always made me proud to support your content.
I feel so grateful to have met you at RTX 2013, we took a picture with "blue meth" candy that some guy had just delivered to you. Also, you, Geoff and Gav signed my SEGA Bass Fishing game on Dreamcast.
I hope I can meet you again one more time someday, so I can express my appreciation properly in the words I didn’t have self-knowledge enough to do all those years ago.
I do feel like a significant part of my own life has now come to an end as well, but I smile and remain grateful that it ever happened to begin with, because I wouldn’t have the friends, sense of humor, nor even be the person I am today without it.

Annual Pass was a ritual thing for me when it was going, I LOVE theme parks but lack the funds to go, so hearing you just ranting and raving about all things theme parks made me so happy. I would love to see Annual Pass return someday! Rooster Teeth was incredibly important to so many, it sucks having it shutdown after 21 years, it hurt my soul watching the final livestream and videos, watching how hard it is on everyone. My heart goes out to you Jack, and every other person from RT
Jack it was the energy you and Geoff brought to the table way back in 2010-2011 that introduced me to AH and Roosterteeth as a whole. Getting into the Halo series around the same time Fails of The Week was just beginning was a breath of fresh air and gave me many laughs that got me through even the worst part of my late teens. I pray for only the best for you and Geoff going forward my man, I'll miss RoosterTeeth and Achievement Hunter with all my heart but I know your journey isn't over! Much love man.
The best years of my life were in college, my buddies and I bonded over the Acheivement Hunter vids and Let's Plays. It was often the best part of an otherwise difficult day. You and Achievement Hunter made my life bearable for the last few years after my stroke. I had planned to send something to the office as a thanks for years but I was never well enough to plan it (I live in the UK). I hope you understand that you and Achievement Hunter were appreciated and loved for so many years by so many people. You are one of the kindest and most generous people I've ever watched and I wish I had been well enough to meet members of Achievement Hunter (I had a ticket for RTX London in 2017 but I had my stroke a few weeks earlier and was in hospital). Thank you for the many years of incredible memories and laughter, you are truely one of a kind. I only wish I could show this appreciation for all of Achievement Hunter over the years. I wish you the best in your life and hope you can move on to the great things you deserve
Been down cause of RT going away. Not as much as i thought i was but enough to feel like my childhood just left. Idk if you'll read this jack but thanks to you and geoff and everyone else at RT for many years of laughter and thanks to the AH guys for such great memories of friends just messing around playing games.

Rage quit, RT Podcast, anything AH/ Let's Play put out. You guys consistently made my day better without fail. Thank you for everything Jack. On to the next adventure

Dear Jack,
I thought I had cried all my tears out in the last two months, but watching this has managed to get a few more out of me. Thanks to you and everyone in AH/RT, I have so many wonderful memories. Even during the toughest times, there was always something to lift my spirits. One thing that I hold near and dear to my heart is the Achievement Hunter Musical. It was released on the day I got fired from my job. My wife and I were struggling, and I had no idea what I was going to do. I was having an awful day, and I saw that there was a new GTA video. I thought maybe it would give me an hour where I could smile and take my mind off things. It turned out to be the musical, and I started crying again because it felt like a prayer had been answered. That day went from being one of the scariest days of my life to one that I'll never forget. Even now, when I listen to those songs, I get a rush of all the emotions I felt that day. But I know that my wife and I made it through.
I'm excited to see what the future brings for you and for others from RT. I know Face Jam is continuing as 100% Eat, and I'm pretty sure F**k Face is continuing as The Regulation Podcast. Hopefully, I will know more tomorrow. And I believe Red Web announced that they were going to be continuing as well in some capacity which is great. It's been enough time since the announcement of Rooster Teeth's closing that I have come to accept what is happening. I'm ready for the future and ready to support all of you guys however I can moving forward. I have been a Rooster Teeth Sponsor and then a First Member since 2010, and I'm not going to stop supporting you now.

Roosterteeth in a way helped me find where i was in life when i started having dark times and watching you guys was so much help and seeing it now gone hits like a truck i'll never forget something that helped me grow meet people and actually do something with my life

Oh god the grey in his beard… Jesus watching this is just…. It’s like watching the grandfather tell his story from his time of the 2000’s I will thank the memories I had for achievement Hunter. I remember being 12 years old, binging Halo Reach after school, and it was you and Geoff's commentaries on Fails of the Weak that made me discover and follow Rooster Teeth. It's so lovely to see in reflection after all these years that Rooster Teeth had such a positive impact to yourself, just as much as the fans that grew up with them. I don't like picking favorites, but I don't think I would've been hooked to Achievement Hunter without your contribution Jack. You're a legend with a heart of gold, pal. Good luck!
I had starting watching rooster teeth content when i was a freshman in high-school, and everyone of my friends couldn't stop talking about this new show called red vs blue and thats where it started for me. I was generally a quiet and reserved teenager but finding something i could laugh and find community with was so integral to not only my taste in comedy but content and friends in general. I would tune in every week of fails of the week and from there on i was a huge fan of you and Geoff in particular you guys never failed to make me laugh and watching annual pass and f**k-face with Gavin and Andrew was something I'll miss deeply. I hope you move on to better and bigger things love ya Jack and all that you do!!!

This is going to be long but I’ll never forget finding AH in 2012 and it changed my life forever. You and Geoff were people I saw as father figures during rough times (for better or worse haha). I always told myself I would make it to RTX or AH live to meet you guys but never could. I’m sad to see it all end but I truly wish the best for you going forward man you deserve everything this world has to offer. Thanks for all the years of joy.

I remember the "AH the Musical" being published as "Jack Bag" (?) in the middle of that years Extra Life stream, definitely peaqued my interest based on how much Jack and Geoff were trying to push the audience to watch it, and oh boy, it was a nice surprise!

Man, Jack. Of all the Rooster Teeth guys, I always related to you the most. I was only a couple years older than you and you were so down-to-earth. When I saw you in the Minecraft Let's Plays and how you'd go quiet when you were getting serious or when people would gang up on you, I just thought how much we were alike. And you running Extra Life, damn, you were a great person and represented the older gaming community so well.
As I heard Barbra say, “if you never say goodbye, you’re never really gone.” And I really hope this channel is an extension of that! I’m never saying goodbye Jack, I always want to watch your content! Especially Lego streams!!!

I discovered AH over a decade ago. To be completely honest, I didn't think you were that funny, but as years passed, your style and personality continually grew on me. I loved watching your relationships with other cast members, people treated you like the awesome dad and it was always just so incredibly wholesome when you were a part of the moment. Thank you for everything you've contributed over the course of your time with RT. Even Geoffs journalistic vocabulary cant articulate what a truly genuinly amazing person you are.
