At RTX 2013, Joel was forbidden by Jack to sign the life size Tower of Pimps that he had made for the event. Joel then decides to give out Jack's number at the podcast panel.
There are other videos of this incident but they go for over 20 minutes. I decided to cut of most of it and keep what I believe to be the more important parts.
And most other TH-cam versions don't include the followup podcast video from PAX AU 2013.

A lot of people think this was scripted. This was the one RTX Panel I went too in my life. Jacks face was more red than Gavin's shirt, there was shaking. Later in the day, Jack does end up SLAPPING JOEL HARD

MLG R8DR805 2014 or 2013. I think it was 2014. It was the 10th anniversary, because I still have a cieled deck of Rooster teeth playing cards, 10th anniversary addition from the good bags.
The funny part is at the time, I thought Joel was the CEO. Then i thought it was Burnie, now i Know its Matt. I fully scripted out and looking for actors for a live action X-Ray and Vav parody ( Barbra approved) and Geoff and Burnie are the leaders of everything pretty much while Matt is only a hentch men for Burnie
Gus, Joel, Burnie, and Geoff all hold high places in the RT company because, obviously without them including Matt, there would be no company. I think Burnie was the CEO at one point and then sold it to Matt.
Scyle Ornitier he didn't sell it, I learned exactly what happened. Think of it like this. Burnie has a life, Matt does not. Because so many things were happening in his life, he gave the company to Matt while he took care of them. When they were all done, he realized putting Matt in charge was a good move and kept him as CEO
4 years, and I finally learn that Joel was playing a (very convincing) prank. Ha ha, talk about shenanigans!

What, do you want proof that we talked about it? He was still miffed the next day but also kinda thought it was funny. I hadn't attended the panel so I gave him a hard time about not recognizing that the number was different. He was rightfully defensive and Caiti said it was a SIM card. I actually felt bad for making a joke because it still seemed like a sore subject. A few days later, they said on social media that they were keeping the number alive in a burner phone so people could text them with their hometowns. They put together a map of locations where fans had texted them from.
You can see Jack go into fight or flight mode. He starts breathing heavily, he’s filled with adrenaline, he’s getting close to Joel.
They confirmed this wasnt scripted but it wasnt Jacks actual number, they put a new sim in jacks phone before the panel somehow without him knowing.
Oh now it makes sense why Geoff was so worried when he carved up Jack's desk that he built with his dad, last time someone messed with something like that it didnt end well.

When I had seen this back in 2013, I thought that Joel actually doxxed Jack. Thank God Joel had the forethought to put a 'fake' number on Jack's phone instead of giving out his actual phone number.
