If you guys ever get the chance to chat up Zack again, here's a few questions I wish you could ask him for me: 1) Have you ever thought of redrafting a script multiple times to fine tune it, or is it always your first draft that you don't even bother to re-read? 2) Have you ever thought of hiring a script doctor? 3) Have you ever thought of having an actual writer co-write some of your scripts, or at least make sense of them? 4) Do you ever have an original thought in your process of writing a movie? Or does it consist entirely of re-watching old films and buffet-style, pick out, and steal bits from each? 5) Do you understand what object permanence is? Or is it something you just ignore in your films? 6) Do you think your films would be better if you had to get studio approval for each instance of slow motion? 7) Do you understand that the majority of people who watch your out of focus films despise that method of filming? If you understand that it hurts our eyes, do you not care, and just do it anyway? 8) How are you still allowed to make movies? 9) What dirt do you have on people in order to still get funding for these products you film? 10) Do you understand that every movie you've made is worse than the last? And the only one of any value was Dawn of the Dead? 11) Do you write your scripts in crayon? 12) Do you understand that it's a bad thing when characters don't act naturally, and the audience can see the writer's hand moving the pieces? 13) Do you understand logic, reason, and causality? 14) Is film-making in your eyes just like Legos, taking bits and pieces of per-rendered scenes and hastily gluing them together no matter how disparate they are from one another? Also tell him thanks for all the laughs, unintentional or not. Rebel Moon was the closest thing we've had to a Spaceballs part 2, so for that tell him I'm grateful.
Slow Mo Guys are probably the most popular creators that don't have the creator stereotype. And this video would have shown that in the first channel. In the second channel is the crazy thing to me!
Netflix: Of Zack we are going to have you do a promo for Rebel Moon with the Slow Mo Guys. Zack: Ok. (45 minutes later after copious geeking out over slow motion filming) Zack: Oh right and yeah Rebel Moon part 2 comes out or something go watch it.
It really is funny how you can see they’re really shoe-horning in references to the movie. They SO want to just geek out, but they have to circle back every little bit.
You can see it on Gav's face a little bit, but I can't imagine how awesome it must've been for him to have this opportunity. One of those "full circle" type moments.

He is one of nice people in the film industry. In every interview, actors, producers, and other directors who have worked with Snyder have truly adore Zack as person and a filmmaker. They all have so much respect for him.
I love how zack starts getting excited and his brain runs away with what he is talking about but then catches himself and tries to calm down and explain things but while explaining it gets excited again and starts babbling again it'd a constant fight between just geeking out with 2 people on his level and trying to keep it easy to understand

I also checked the main channel thinking this was a liger version of something else. It's a massive flex.
Having Snyder on is not a flex. These guys are easily much better at their job than him. He should be the one who should feel honored.
Flex? It's promo content, he has to do interviews like this to promote the movie.
Gav: "Zack Snyder, the King of Slo Mo"
Zack "From you that means something"
Wow, that's some serious (and well deserved) acknowledgement

Evidently in his movies
