The fact that Voyager is still working is testament to the sayings "they don't build them like that anymore " & "they used to build items up to a standard and not down to a cost"
Glad to know that it is not yet curtains on these two missions as they are continuing their journey into Interstellar space. Here I got curious about its on board fuel reserves. How long the fuel will last. Glad to know that both are in touch with the ground control on Earth. Due to the long distances communication time is getting longer. As they are going farther from our sun, solar panels may not be functioning as good as before. Can their direction be adjusted to towards the nearest star ? Will they come across any comet's path ?
Sobering to think the engineers and scientists that built both of these emissaries of Earth are mostly dead by now ,I remember when these were launched and the excitement in anticipation of what might be learnt, it was truely into the unknown.
Yeah, but no. Voyager was sent into space in 1977. We still used polaroid cameras in those days and had no wifi connection. Even today, wifi is sketchy at best. You want us to believe that not only did voyager have modern wifi and camera technology installed but it can communicate these discoveries from light years away from a an explorer ship that has been on the go for nearly 50 years. Could this technology please be shared with my kitchen appliance and motor vehicle manufacturer. .... Pull the other one .....
Kitchen appliances and motor vehicles are currently designed to quit working. Case in point: one year ago I bought an air conditioner. It already broke down. 30 years ago, I bought an air conditioner. It still works. I have a van built in 1978. Still runs. Grandson has a truck built in 1998, broke down. It’s made that way. Voyager is sending digital information mostly. Not “Polaroid” snaps. And in 1977, I used 35mm film. With a fully manual camera.
Play around with the roots of words. Very fun. And very enlightening. Irony? Very much so. Ex: neighborhood= neigh, no. Bor. bro. Hood. No bro hood! Earth. E. Art. Art.arth. Hearth. E art. Ear. T H. Heart. Mother Earth.

Computers were used before that. The general public. Gets much news about 50 years later. True. Proven.
Lol so you think NASA was also using Polaroid cameras.
