- We've been getting a relatively high number of Wolverine figures lately and most of them have improved on issues from previous releases. Can this figure still be considered good if it uses most of the bad parts and makes even more mistakes than before?

I saw this figure irl at the mall and instantly knew this was gonna get a funny thumbnail.
The aesthetics and accessories score were quite generous actually.

Especially for these figure reviewers. I’ve never heard them curse before until recently this year. I’m pretty they’re doing that because of that TH-cam crap with Coppa? Was it Coppa? I completely forgot about that.

David Marrero Yeah you’re right. The age that separates children is the age 13. I’ve only noticed though that they curse maybe one or two.
Lil Corona Cursing does nothing to prevent kids from watching your video. Simply uploading a video and activating “Not for kids” will make TH-cam assume it isn’t for kids. Either way saying your video isn’t for kids won’t really do anything because a kid is probably going to click on a action figures review anyway.

As the quality of the figures decreases and Anthony’s patience also decreases, the go off moments are really starting to shine through.

I do enjoy your brutality Anthony, I am often in agreement with you. The AOA Wolverine will likely never have a nice figure as the design and concept of him is pretty stupid. It makes no sense that his indestructible bones could be severed in such a way and still have claws. Maybe if Mezco tweeked the original design somehow it might work, but Hasbro needs to throw in the towel on this one.
This is what happens when a billion dollar toy company who has taken over almost every toy license and no competition therefore complacency.... However the AOA has a been a good wave with an excellent baf.

I hate the neck but I think they were trying to allow it to have more articulation but implemented it poorly.
wish I could take this and do a repaint recreating the moment he lost his hand and cyclops his eye, maybe a repaint 2 pack bundle
Now I have no knowledge of manufacturing processes, but it could it have to do with some kind of limitation in the way they are currently doing things? I mean, why do some figures have lollipop and not others?

So I used the black cat fur boots to add more hair and give him a more feral look, doesn't hinder the articulation either
Had to come back to this review because BBTS has had the guy in stock ever since and just put it on sale for 10 bucks, lol. At that price, why not?

I kept thinking his head was too big, but after seeing your review I realize it’s an illusion created by how his head sits on his neck. That is truly horrendous.

Hasbro could have made this wave much better. Infact this wave isnt something at all that people would be interested in like the apocalypse wave. The character designs shouldnt have been this crappy and weird with bad articulation like you mentioned. I hope the upcoming Xmen wave is something worth the wait.

I saw this figure out of box, for sale on EBay. My first thought was “That’s a bootleg.” Sadly, it isn’t. It’s worse (way) than previous figures of AOA Wolverine.
Since when did Kabutops have a set of claws on each arm instead of sickles? They need to go back and review the source material.

Phew! Dodged a bullet with this one. Good review! I had him and a few of the figures out of this wave in hand for the 1st time the other day but I put them all back. I was tempted to buy him dark beast and sunfire bcuz that's my normal behavior for marvel legends but honestly the figure is Soo mediocre and proportions is way off which was a turnoff and a big deal in decision making. That head on wolverine never looked like it matched the body from the pictures when it was first released in comic con imo. Plus the biggest upset in this entire wave is no accessories except of the soup can that he comes with, not one of the rest comes with anything. Marvel legends taste in character popularity nowadays suck. Plus I'm getting sick of buying rehashed repainted figures from hasbro.

So glad i didn't have any type of nostalgia for these designs, easily one of the weakest waves thus far, the BAF is incredible but even then, if I wanted to be a scalper about it, I'd probably have a bad time about it, whoever bought this wave was obviously the target audience and I'm not it, and that's fine but jeez, I fear for the quality of future waves

That is the worst head setup I've ever seen on a figure. I can't believe someone said that was ok to send out and charge 20 bucks for.
Hasbro doesn't deserve our money for at least half of the stuff they release. They're capable of doing better. We've seen it plenty of times. They just don't care enough to do better every time. It really says something about how much they care about their consumer. Right now indie toy companies are blowing Hasbro away. I hope Hasbro starts taking notice at some point because this figure flat out sucks.

Or for another more positive example, when one says “gay” they refer to a homosexual person, not the older meaning, someone who is happy. Words change meanings. Some words are offensive. If you were using it as anything other than a synonym for “crippled,” it would be acceptable. In fact, hobbled specifically refers to “an awkward pained walk,” due to straps or crushed bones in the ankles. So, it wouldn’t even be applicable to wolverines amputated hand. You are using semantics to try to justify your ignorance. I don’t know what group you refer to when you say “you guys,” but I was just a fan trying to throw a little knowledge to help you on your public platform. You will be eventually called out for this stuff.
Look up the definition “gimp” in the Oxford dictionary, which is what Google uses, and you will see it is a derogatory term when used the way you do.
