The way I see it is that even paintings express emotions and even have one to reflect on what he sees. And since we are all different, everyone can end up with his inspiration from it or having his/her view on it. We can all absorb inspiration from other artists and end up creating our original works. So, therefore, there is a very deep function.

i've always thought that a primary feature of 'good art' is the interplay between medium and message - i.e. how the medium is used to either amplify or enhance the 'message' or 'content' of the work itself ... you can apply this to just about any medium

Why does the URL at the end say howwegottonext.com?
howwegettonext.com seems to be the correct URL.

Ha ha! I'm so surprised that such a creative man would have such a narrow idea about art! Very narrow minded and silly imo

On the contrary, his ideas regarding art offer a generously wide latitude. He's actually pretty inclusive. Silly? Nope. This guy's got an amazing record as a forward-thinking musician. His legacy has been very influential.
