Thanks for the video! I'm a beginner fruit tree grower and didn't realize peach trees were hardy in the desert. I assumed they would have a hard time with our summer sun and heat, and would need some protection. Now I know what to plant in a full sun spot in my front yard! I'm working on building my microclimate.

Update?
This is my 3rd year with my peach tree. I pray it gives my family something this year.
I am in central Florida and have 3 peaches tree. Tropical Tree, Florida King, and Georgia Bell. The only one who’s productive is the tropical. Couldn’t find Florida prince, grow big, and productive. Tropical is very productive, however, peaches are not big, about golf balls, very sweet, and amazing flavors!
I love to taking me back to 4 years old for my old memory. I have peach tree from my parent bring us. I miss my father a lot passed away since I was 10. Now I have peach tree in my house.
Arizona may be a magical place for peaches, that's great. His comments don't apply to other places.

(Update on my peach tree).. it’s MASSIVE.. I got it this March and it was 5 feet ….
now it’s 12 feet and still growing extremely fast! Next year I will get 20 or more big peaches!( I just posted a video on it!)

In your videos please discuss how to maintain them and also how to keep them from falling prematurely. Also discuss how to keep worms from getting into your peaches. My peaches have been attacked by bugs and pesticides I need to know what the best remedy is for that.

I've never looked into that. But my initial thought is that it can't hurt it and probably would be beneficial. I say go for it!
Hi! I am loving your tips. I just bought my first peach tree, a tropic snow. I was under the impression peach trees could take full sun, but when leaving the nursery the man at the counter told me to keep it in the shade. I have some shade in my yard, but no spots that are completely shaded all day. What are your thoughts? I am not planning to plant in ground until September. Thank you.
They can take full sun! Especially if you're planting in September. By they time next summer hits it will have good root establishment and will take the sun just fine.

i live next to an 80 acre peach orchard its full sun no shade within 1/2 mile
I was recently gifted an apple tree and a peach tree. (Each about 4-5 feet tall.) I planted both about a week ago…the apple tree has already started to grow leaves but the peach tree still nothing. I did a scratch test and everything is green, so I assume it’s ok. But the few little branches it has look pretty dry. Should I cut those or leave everything alone and hope? I’ve never grown peaches before so it’s just a little nerve wracking seeing how the apple tree is doing versus the peach tree…any advice?

Hi there, May i know how long did it take for the dwarf peach tree (bonanza) to produce fruit? And is it sweet tasting? I am planning get this variety
I recently bought a dwarf honey babe peach tree. I don’t plan on putting it in the ground as I am renting the home where I stay. Instead, I have it in a large plastic pot so if I move, I can take it with me. Is this ok to keep in large pot? Also, since tree is not in the ground, how often do you suggest I water it? Since I got it a month or two ago, I’ve already noticed new growth! I have been watering every day and I have fertilized with organic fertilizer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! And awesome video!
Peaches eventually want to be in the ground. But the fact that it's a dwarf will buy you some extra years, so you should be good.
Right now watering every day is perfect. Pretty hard to over water anything in a pot right now with this heat!

How well does the tree do in our winters? I’m in South Eastern AZ.
Peach trees are Deciduous, they lose their leaves in the winter, so the cold is not an issue. . Lots of people grow peaches in South East AZ.
I have a dwarf peach tree that is about 5 years old and it has never produced fruit. It flowers a lot each year but the fruit does not stick. I trimmed last year and still the same issue happened this year. Help, what am i doing wrong?
This may be a dumb question but when you’re trimming your trees. Do you just take the trimming to the dump?
I bought a small chipper to trim the smaller branches and use the wood chips as mulch. The larger ones I will cut down and also use as mulch. If it's too big, then yes, I bring them to the dump.
What are some great nurseries to get some yellow peach trees in the Phoenix area? I'd prefer organic grown. Thx for your tips and info. :)

use neem oil spray late winter to early spring some worms come from oriental fruit moth neem oil will take care of them go by directions on lable stop spraying when buds start to open for blooms dont spray blooms

I planted a peach tree 4 years ago and I’ve had no produce! I thought I needed another one for pollination so I planted another one next to it two years ago and still nothing. I’m thinking of taking down the tree after this year.
Mine took 5 yrs to fruit i dont believe he got 500 fruit in 2nd yr

My peach tree has came with the root flayer way below the soil .. it’s very healthy though and grows extremely fast.. so I am guessing it’s fine? It’s probably been growing like that for 3 years and the root flayer is below the soil.. so is it fine?
It is probably fine. You can always try to gently remove some soil from around the root flare, but be very gentle. Happy growing!
When do I cover my baby peach trees in the fall in the Midwest for the winter? I planted one tree, but somehow I have two now.
Peach trees are deciduous and lose their leaves during the winter. No need to cover.

I live in the trópics, our temperatures do not go lower than 65 Fahrenheit mostly 80 degrees year round, exept august where we get temperatures in the 90's. We get a lot of humidity all year. Could you recommend any variety of peach for this climate? And could I buy the seed? I just subscribed, Thankyou 🌹
Unfortunately, peaches may not be do-able in your area. They need a certain amount of chill hours in order to fruit. So if it doesn't really go below 65 then peaches wont work. Sorry for the bad news! Thanks for subscribing!

Probably not. They need to get a decent amount of cold hours.
