    Second year with peaches on my Contender peach tree, 8 total last year... this year almost 200 blooms!
    Everything I wanted/needed to know about thinning my peach, apple, and apparently, any stone fruit tree.
    Thank you sooo much!!❤😊

    Hey! Thank you for your tutorial on peach tree trimming. I was especially interested in your knowledge, because you've got a fruit tree large enough that you can't reach the top, like I do. How do you thin the top branches, please?

    Love my early grande tree! This year I had way more than the last and had to take 100+ off and still have tons!

      A lot of people will pickle them and do a few other things with them. I like to just throw them down and let them decompose and feed my soil.

    Thanks so much for this video! I have a dwarf peach tree. This is the first year it’s fruiting. Should I still thin the tree? I’d you have an email I can send you a picture if you don’t mind help me! Thanks so much again

    I'm looking for a peach tree or 2 to add to my yard! What nursery would you recommend?

    • @TheGardenNerd
      @TheGardenNerd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      RSI in Glendale is the best for peach trees.
      A&P is also one of my favorite nurseries.

    You're looking very good sir. You've lost some weight since last video and you got cho hair did! Nice. You're looking good. Great editing job on the video, very respectful of viewer's time commitment. I've always had a saying: If you don't like Peaches then, don't shake my tree! Okay, that means nothing.
    The University of Central Florida created a peach hybrid and, of course, they called it, "Florida King Peach". Do they do territorial crap like that in Arizona? As if these college idiots "created" the peach tree from scratch. I wish we could take a trip to Georgia, a state I traverse often, or my home state of SC, and taste a peach grown from there. You can't ship them. They're like bananas raised in Mexico. They just won't make the trip. They honestly give fresh Mango a run for "best fruit".
    Let's see. Ideas for new videos. Hmm... How about, Dealer's Choice between these: Botanical Gardens which are FREE and Dog Friendly you didn't know existed. If you're out of space horizontally, garden vertically! (How to make a sturdy trellis from Metal fencing). Starting a local community garden as a means of community outreach and meeting your neighbors or doing things with friends. And finally, Mixing well or made in hell: Combining your ornamentals with fruit trees. What works, what does and what's just down right toxic!

    I have tons of fruits in my dwarf peach tree and about 1" to 1.5" round. Some are becoming reddish. Is it too late to thin?

      In my opinion it's never too late to thin but I'm also curious what the man in the video a has to say about that
