- Follow me as I show you guys my day in the life at the University of Florida. I am currently a Postbacc student at the University of Florida completing my pre-med reqs through their 2 year program. Some of you guys might know me from my UMiami vlogs, well this is my new life here at UF and I hope to keep doing TH-cam and showing you guys my new life while still posting videos you guys love to watch!

Should I go to UF I got accepted into innovate ? I’m also out of state btw
The speed limit used to be higher but multiple student lost their lives to speeding drivers so now the campus speed limit is 20 and speed bumps were added. This change was made in summer 21 (very recent)

hi! we usually don’t go the speed limit but if you didn’t know, several UF students were hit by cars and killed :( really sad wake up call unfortunately

Shoutout to Later Gators if it's around very handy after late night study time in library . RTS is so well connected that i realised the importance after moving out of Gainesville
well, each chair in the west and marston lib is over $1000, so I think 450 is not that expensive😂

Hi Danny! Glad to see you are doing UF vlogs! Just and FYI that expensive chair in the bookstore is typically given as a gift to faculty who retire. The chair gets engraved with their name and the rest of the faculty and staff write their well wishes on the bottom of the chair with gold and silver permanent ink. To be honest, if I ever become faculty and retire, I would prefer a rocking chair! LOL!!!

The clock tower is called Century Tower--the legend is that if a virgin (male of female) graduates from UF, then a brick will fall off the Tower...Turlington Hall? It was named for Ralph Turlington, former commissioner of Education for the state of Florida and the father of a medical school classmate of mine. Before it was named Turlington long after I left, it was GPA building A--General Purpose Building A--we called it the grade point average building!

Such nostalgia when I saw this VLOG! I graduated UF in early 1980--Marston was president of the University then. The campus looks very different and quite honestly I didn't recognize some of the buildings. The (Reitz) Union north lawn you walked through was much bigger in the 70s because a lot of the buildings weren't there--and there were midnight movies on the north lawn nearly every weekend. I sympathize with your Chemistry course--I was a chemistry major at UF before going to medical school, which seems to be your goal. All the very best to you!
