Just got mine installed. With simhub it's brilliant once you dial in the settings to suit.

Hello got mine and can’t get it to work with acc. Is there some special settings to get it to connect it with the game? Works great with ams2 and pc2 just went to options, system, config games with external apps, change the upd frequency to 5 and it’s fantastic zero lag on gear change and kerbs. But acc I’ve got nothing. Any idea would be much appreciated.

Any particular reason why your steering wheel rotation settings seem to be very badly messed up in ACC? You're turning your wheel minutely and the in game wheel turns massively, seems to be causing you to overturn and induce understeer. You should have the ingame and driver wheel rotation settings match at e.g. 900 and 900 so the game knows to match your wheel to the cars rotation, or you can match them to the cars actual rotation values (so e.g. 480 in game and 480 driver for a mclaren, or 800 / 800 for porsche, etc) so that you have matching 1:1 rotation with your physical and in game wheels.
You were also clipping pretty hard in Eau Rouge (that FF meter at bottom right of hud below your pedal inputs) causing you to lose some detail; not a major thing since it's just one corner, but since you have a DD wheel, you might want to dial the in game ffb down a bit and turn up the wheels ffb to compensate. Though if you're on a low power DD like a non-boost-kit CSL DD, then that might not be an option and you may need to just live with the slight clipping.
Anyhoo, regarding the product in review, an option is to use a 3rd party program called "SimHub", which supports the HF8 and has a bit more options regarding the feedback, such as the option for feedback on wheel slip. Hopefully NLR will add the additional feedback options to their software as well, and they do have more options available in some other titles they support.
Regardless of my offtopic gripes, nice review. :)

@@matt51 Yea I don't usually use 100% on my wheel either (t818), but the 8nm range you have should have enough range that you can reduce the ingame ffb setting low enough that you'll never clip, and then adjust the driver ffb to what you're comfortable. :)
So for example if you're running 70% game and 70% driver, you could go 60% game to eliminate that slight clipping and 80% driver to get back the ffb strength you lost by reducing the in game setting (if you feel you need it) and ending up with similar ffb force but without clipping (since clipping means you're losing detail in ffb). Replace my made up numbers with whatever are appropriate for your setup.
Whereas with a 5nm wheel, you might have already been at or near max values on driver, so wouldn't have the headroom to recover the lost ffb from reducing the game ffb setting, and would need to accept some clipping or the reduced ffb strength.
