    It supports AC, Dirt Rally 2.0, and Iracing. Those are the 3 main food groups! For that price, and in VR, definitely gonna check it out. Great review!

    I recieved thie HF8 this Christmas. Works great. Really happy with the added layer of immersion this adds to my experience. Great with racing, Flight combat, shooters. If you play World of Tanks(6 year Tanker here), it's actually startling...The battles really feel brutal, plus you get a pretty good message. Excellent Haptics for a reasonable price.

    Great video. Will look into this product for sure. Was considering buttkicker but this seems like a better compromise for enhanced immersion...

    I just got one of these yesterday. I feel like I am sitting on rocks, but I am a big guy (120 kg). Do you have any recommendations for a good cushion that works to smooth that out without losing too much of the haptic feedback?

    Thank you for this review. I've been annoyed with my buttkicker for years. It's extremely noisy, it rackets the whole thing around, I constantly have to tweak it's volume settings depending on the car, the software is horrendous and none of the options tell you what they do, and I could go on and on. All I ever wanted was to feel a sense of connection to the road and the bumps. This seems like it'll fit the bill. I'll give it a crack in a couple of weeks. Is there a referral code or anything of the sort I can use so you can get a kickback from the sale? I'd like to spread the love.

    When using on a ps5 all motors rumble at the same time and works off certain audio within the game so i believe ? Therefore would this rumble when playing wrc generations on ps5 ? i understand on the games supported you can tweak individual settings again my question is will i get vibration if used when playing wrc generations on ps5 ? thankyou if anyone can advise .

    Here's a question for you. I've got a Thrustmaster T248. I can sell it and get a T300 for the same price as the HF8. Which would you do? T300 and no haptics, or T248 with haptics?

    I recently purchased the device. As I've never had any haptic devices attached to my rig, it was of course a big "improvement" to the sim experience. That is.....until I noticed a lag between the time an object is encountered (say a curb) and the time the device activates, and then also lag between the time you clear an object (say a curb) and the time the device deactivates. It's significant enough for me that is breaks the immersion. I'm waiting for a reply from Next Level support about finding a way to reduce this "lag". If it can't be reduced I'm probably going to return it.
    Anybody else having this issue?

    hi Daniel , new here and very interested on this device but there are some effects which are lost compared to simhub shakeit or others, i mean wheel lock, wheel slip , do you know if this will work on simhub too when connected thru usb or it works only with nlr software?

    • @andrealateralus1420

      @@daniel_gray10 i believe you when we talk about immersion but effects like lock and spin are very important in simracing haptic, what a pitty....let's hope in a software upgrade

    • @MrNeilRoberts
      @MrNeilRoberts ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This DOES connect to Simhub - I have it and it works perfectly and compared to the NLR app it’s on a totally different level. There’s so many conflicting TH-cam videos out at the moment. I believe this product is massively let down by its software but since Simhub works fine then no issue.

    Be warry guys, this is a forcefeedback device, it is not a buttkicker, a buttkicker physical moves your cockpit around, that's the real deal

    • @michaelb6808
      @michaelb6808 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ... that's factually 100% incorrect. Do you know the component used in buttkickers is? I'm going to guess not since you stated that a buttkicker "physical moves your cockpit around" (FYI, it doesn't.) Regardless , I'll tell you, it's called a transducer (specifically a _tactile transducer_ .) Did you catch him mentioning what component is in this product? If you guessed 'transducer too' you'd be correct. All a transducer does is create vibration... Don't believe me? Look it up yourself.. or watch a review of a buttkicker and you will clearly see the cockpit is not moving around (unless they also have a motion rig)
      ✌️
