- After spontaneously meeting Marlene & Lukas in Alexandroupoli, Greece, just before the border, we quickly realized we would be heading the same direction and decided to continue cycling together through Turkey.
For the first time on our journey so far, we left the European continent and crossed into Asia, experiencing many new things!
Friendly and hospitable people, bustling cities and chaotic bus rides would await us on our transcontinental adventure...

Great guys …thanks… I love your cooking pot 😂
Turkish wood, super
lots of sunshine
You are living the life! It's great you can both do together! Most people are "forced" to chase $$$ in life to survive or are succumbed into the $$$. I am totally inspired to do this kind of adventure!
Awesome work guys, your videos are really well shot and edited. Turkey looks fantastic and we'll definitely ride through it at some point!
Thanks! 😊 yea, it’s definitely worth it.
Very impressive - as a viewer I feel drawn in and always excited - wanting more - thankfully many many video's to go....safe travels...🙂

Hello
I happy your on turkey. Your will visit turkey again.
Good luck
The Izmiri editing must have been a success, you made a great video.
Binge watching your playlist right now, enjoying the trip vicariously. Really liked your quote about every climb uphill has its reward, great way to look at things.
Oh and your riding companions song on their "new" guitar by the campfire made me laugh lol.
Little worried about your upcoming videos to the US, sure doesn't seem as bike friendly here as what I've seen so far on your trip 😬 🤞
The US was, most of the time, really good for cycling, and we didn't even take the "main" cycling routes. 😊
Great to hear that you're enjoying our videos!
I hope You visit turkey next time in the summer
👍👍🇮🇳🇮🇳❤❤..IND

I fry the bread in the pan with the eggs. Tastes good.
Awesome adventure you guys are having! I understand that you couldn’t take the puppy 3:37 with you of course! That wouldn’t have been fair to either you or the puppy, but wasn’t there something you could do other than leaving him alone on a busy roadway? 😢
I wish they could have done something for that poor puppy too. I hope it didn't perish and suffer on the motorway. 😢 All dogs go heaven.
If you come again Istanbul, please come our home :)
Unfortunately I watched it new 🙈
Hüsna hanım geziyormusunuz
Keşan, the gypsy major town😂
Great video! Pleace, tell me which way is easier to approach to Antalya by bike, from Istanbul or Izmir?
Hard to say, because we didn’t cycle from Istanbul to Antalya. We enjoyed our route from Izmir, you can see it on our website.
Hello Tobi & Louisa - I have watched so many of your videos....and now Subbed :) - I'm wondering what software you use for editing your films whilst on the road? Are you happy with it?? I am a Bike Tourer also so I find your films very inspiring and I can't wait to get riding again....In June I fly from New Zealand to Norway to begin riding the European Divide Trail and then on to Croatia etc. All I have is my cell phone and Tablet.....do you think this is enough to make videos for TH-cam? - If so, can you recommend a Camera App for the phone (Samsung Galaxy S21FE) and software for the Tablet (Samsung Tab S8).
In 2018 - 19 I cycled from the Arctic Ocean (The very top of Canada) to Ushuaia, Argentina - Quite an adventure :) - You mentioned that you are heading to South America etc....Please do not miss Mexico and Central America - I had a wonderful time cycling through these Countries! The food and people in Mexico are both wonderful!! Happy Safe Travels and I look forward to your next film - Cheers - Steve in New Zealand!
Hey Stephen, thank you! We are happy that you enjoy our videos.
We use DaVinci Resolve for editing, but only since we have a new Laptop, that can handle this program. Before we used HitFilm Express with an older MacBook. DaVinci is a much more powerful editing tool, which we are really happy with, but requires a powerful computer to run well on.
Sounds like a great tour you have ahead of you! Your phone and your tablet should be enough to make good videos, but might limit you a bit when it comes to sound design and color grading, for example.
We were told that LumaFusion works well with Tablets, but unfortunately it’s only available for iOS at the moment. (They’re working on an Android version) Maybe you’ll find something comparable for Android, for now.
We are actually in Mexico at the moment and will also cycle through some Central American countries. Great to hear that you enjoyed it here!
Greetings from Baja California Sur :)
Great video! Your camera and drone footage is very nice! Outstanding job of editing it all together too! Fantastic adventure! 🚵♀️🚵♂️
Thanks! 😊
Hey, we saw you posted a comment on our Tool video. Unfortunately TH-cam sometimes has an issue that we can see the preview of the comment but not the actual comment. Would be great if you could post the comment again! 😊
Turkey’s loss is our gain.
Hi you two. I've watched several of your videos now and I hate to say it but I keep waiting for your GoPro to start filming the sights and scenes and drone footage of what you're seeing along the way. Patagonia was better, but Australia was disappointing. I drove Sydney to Adelaide, Victoria and hoped to see more of the scenery I didn't get to see as you rode toward Perth. Most of your videos seem to be centered around getting to camp and leaving the camp. When you've seen one set up and takedown, you've seen them all. I want to see what you are seeing. Thanks for listening. Till then, I'm done.
Thanks for the feedback! 😊
Wonderful, Where can I get your itinerary?
Thanks! 😊 On our website:

Can I ask why you used other means of travel between antalya and istanboul, or istanboul to Izmir?? Thank you
At the time when we were cycling through Turkey we had already booked our flight from Istanbul to Miami, USA. So we had limited time and had to decided where we want to cycle in Turkey and chose the south coast.
But we really loved it in Turkey and want to come back from the east and cycle completely through the country at the end of our journey around the world.

Thank you that was really helpful 😊,
I would feel very guilty going to Turkey these days. At the same time, I imagine the food must be delicious.
How do you navigate and stay online in different countries in terms of sim?
Play that guitar!
Considering how many Turks are in Germany these days, food probably tastes just like home.
Ah camping by the sea in TR, Rubbish RUBBISH everywhere
