Yeah this was a pretty crazy slog down the hill. Constant flip flopping between great views and riding, and then oh shit how am I going to make it past this! 😅
What a hell of an adventure! Cool spot for sure. While high intensity videos are obviously fun to watch, Extraordinary adventures like this are so relatable and fun. This was super intertaining man! Well done.
Man what an adventure! Those were some crazy storms moving through. I was dodging those atmospheric rivers driving from WA to AZ last March. West coast was getting hammered! Not surprised it did some major damage. Usually when trails are closed in WA it’s from logging and the trail literally no longer exists and is impassible so I usually don’t try 😂 Awesome video.
Good job not getting injured. Sometimes trails are closed for very very good reasons... It unfortunate that when they are closed for minor reasons it can train us to not have the same respect for a closed sign
I think they should have had a couple extra signs as you went. Like at the first part it says, “you ain’t seen nothing yet. Keep going and it’s gonna get wwwwaaaay worse.”
Now that would’ve MEANT something to me!! 😂. When I was rewatching the footage, I did notice a sign at the trailhead that captured the trail closure, but it was right by the kiosk, and I didn’t even see it at the time.
This was a wild ride Rob! So many challenges! I applaud your determination and resilience…🎉😂

I'm glad you share you're highs and lows. Good lessons here. Your rental bike had a ton of rad 'flectors! Great video Rob!
Yup it was definitely a good lesson for me! That bike was so fun - Trek Slash!

Funny how the signs trigger different preconceptions depending on where you’re from. It was an interesting ride to say the least. Thanks for watching!
