I still can't explain it very well but the August 16th Developer Update seemed really strang to me, maybe it's just the way they worded some stuff but I'm not sure. I'm still dead set on the thought of them adding all of these things just because of everyone's backlash over the anticheat, which is still there. Game runs even worse with it than without for me.

There are still some stuff that I had mods they still haven't implemented. Like a third person camera, and backwards facing camera, and the pronouns above user nameplates. And finally hiding UI elements automatically after so much time. So I don't have to see mute icon all the time.
Same, I have recently used avatars mod, freeze frame mod (that was fun because you was able to clone your self with your own custom movements and have a extension to make animate your self too and see your avatar move with you own movements), camera animation (same as VRCLents) but you are allowed to setup the camera on different perspective and then make it move to the different perspective you set. (same as make a movie by yourself) and much more enhanced functions I'm gonna miss from VRChat. 😢
It also feels like some of the text box problems would be solved if instead of safety settings they just let users select if they want to sat Public, Friends, Group 1-4 (or however many friends groups you can sort by) And allowing Text Block to deal with trolls
Hmm. 16th update kinda seemed a bit weird. But thing is they really should have added this shit in before EAC they shot themselves in the foot with this one and they are scrambling to fix it cause of the backlash. I dont use mods cause quest 2 and even still ive noticed a drop in frames and smoothness with the game proccessing, i dare say they almost killed VRC with this. These updates are promising hope they can deliver on it.
@@JustLuckyVR as long as they keep delivering on these updates and they work, yea i see VRC getting alot better. all in all i hope they learn from this and improve. i love vrc too much with too many good friends that play it.
Replace EAC with BattlEye, THEN we can talk. Otherwise Even if VRC became THE PERFECT VR game I'll NEVER come back. EAC HAS TO GO! but if faster updates and improvements are going to become the norm, I can overlook there BEING an anti-cheat, just don't continue to make EAC that Anti-cheat.
They are just trying looking back for the people who leave VRChat but sadly you are still not able to use any enhanced features or mods in the game.🤕 Until I don't hear some great news like you are able again to use some enhanced features or mods, i sill don't want to play VRChat again because I sill feel sad because I'm not able yet to use my favorite mods.😤 For my now VRChat are the same as You Tube Kids but it is now better for Quest 2 users because PC it's gonna be the same thing as you are using Quest 2 it's not gonna be almost any different. 😐

I think the chatbox duration is how long you want the chat will display to others
