very clever puzzle. i also have 0 clue as to how does one go about implementing this in hammer. just a solid 10/10 mechanic. we definitely need more maps with this mechanic.
Am I the only one that wants that to be the real portal Death screen? Every time you die, it shows a different image. of the exact thing you've died to, and has a counter. I would install that mod so quick.

13:07 - That's probably the intended solution, but the way I thought of it was to put the laser cube into the inactive funnel (with companion on the laser button), then becoming cube on the funnel activation button. Would've been a neat extra self-cubification use :)

15:29 - I love the idea that the entire Portal community at this point has accepted Triple Laser as an interdimensional spacetime anomaly, and never let their guard down, always testing its quirks and boundaries even if there is nothing to denote otherwise. Like a primal survival instinct, something coded into our DNA from eons of arbitrarily being thrown into its chaos

Really glad the peak of my artistic skills in the shape of hoop orgy has been thoroughly appreciated ⭕💞⭕
And the fizzler between bridges is maybe the only way to block portal shots while allowing the funnel through and not affecting the gameplay too much by fizzling everything(besides beemod fields, which I try to avoid). Real janky, I know 🤷♂
