Thanks for another great unbiased & honest review! BTW, Costco is selling online a new Gourmia XL French door toaster air fryer oven with PROBE and no one else has done a review on it yet. Do you plan on reviewing this new model since the GTF7660 was your reigning champ for a year?? 😊
Thank you for your support, and the tip about what's new at Costco. I will be covering something also at Costco next week. But, I loath the built in meat probes. And given it is otherwise similar. I will stand by my earlier work on the Gourmia XL in that regard. Gourmia French Door XL Digital Air Fryer Oven: th-cam.com/play/PLdwaKyfn2J3oXRpTuBSYM5GDZweuD-ayP.html
I understand. Guess I’m keeping hope alive that some company will actually make a cooker with a probe that actually works properly 😊. Maybe someone else will review it. Keep up the great reviews that are not sponsored. I value them.
While I have some I like more than others. And, I usually tell which I prefer during 30 Day Review videos. Keep in mind, in order to do those 30 day reviews. I have to actually keep using different cookers as my main daily cooker. Even what I like more than others changes. I tell people, never go off my preference. I just hope my videos help you all decide what's best for you.
I have the og xl pro, and it's great until it's not. My first one crapped out after about 6 mos completely, bought another about a year later and it worked fully for the first few cooks then the fan for convection and airfry quit working and it doesn't come up to temperature I have to raise it much higher than I actually need it. I need another, but I am worried after my first few experiences.
Never have I known someone to have this cluster of issues from the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven. I used it as my primary cooker for like a year or more. Never a single quirk. And, I have no special deals with these companies,, so I get no special units. Also, if your first died after 6 months, you were eligible for a warranty replacement. After that, the replacement has 6 months of coverage. So, any issues would be eligible for replacements from Ninja.. Unless, you are buying from some place that is not a new store sale. So, I suspect something outside of standard here. Or, something in your use, care and cleaning needs adjustment.
@WaveOvenRecipes I never used to deal with the warranties and things (stupid I know. Lol), I own nearly every ninja appliance and several shark appliances, and this is the only one I've had issues with. I honestly love ninja (except this oven) and shark my home could be a serious add for them. Lol

You're welcome.
Have you try the Midea Flexify?@@WaveOvenRecipes
While I cover a lot, companies with Chinese ownership are not my preference. Midea USA is a subsidiary of Midea Group Co., Ltd. (000333.SZ).
That’s a big boy!
You're always welcome 🙂
Hey Doug, I’m on the fence between these and a drawer airfyer, are these much harder to clean? I hear crumbs get all over the bottom
Much respect to him, I am not Doug. I say my name at the start. And share my thoughts on cleaning in the video.
@@WaveOvenRecipes I know it, I blanked cuz u and Doug do extremely similar reviews on air fryers, thank you
Is the oven with the thermometer the same as the one without? Amazon has the one with the thermometer for $50.00 less.
Please watch the video.
