    "ti potranno dire che non può esistere niente che si tocca, o conta, o compra, perché chi è deserto non vuole che qualcosa fiorisca in te" it's a wonderful phrase, it's full empathy. i Think it's the best line of all song.

    To me the main quality of Italian lyrics is the perfectly perfect lipsync ! About the lyrics themselves, to me Jasmine's "Ogni cosa che ho anche quella piu bella, no, non vale la stella..." and Mulan's "lo so io e solo io" are the lyrics which represent the beauty and speciality of Italian lyrics the most ! :)

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      The creativity our lyricist is putting on Italian lyrics to make the best lip-sync she can get is gorgeous, I will never love her enough for the work she's doing. But in fairness, I must say that she's been around only in the last 20 years. Before that, Italian lyricists never paid much attention on lip-sync, and the lyrics themselves were never anything brilliant (Jasmine's lines are some splendid exception). Older lyrics are very often cheap, simplistic and overall poor. I really hope this "new" lyricist will not fall back on that track...

    Between wind and air, Love warms the soul)

    E vivrò, sì, vivrò per sempre in libertà” ( From now on I’ll find my true identity,
    and I’ll live, yes, I’ll live forever in freedom!)
    Pocahontas : “Non distinguer dal colore della pelle
    E una vita in ogni cosa scoprirai
    E la terra sembrerà solo terra finché tu
    Con il vento non dipingerai l'amor” ( Do not distinguish from the color of the skin and you’ll find a life in everything and the earth will look like earth until you can’t paint love with the wind- colors of the wind)

The Italian lyrics of A Whole New World have always been one of my faves :D Even though none made it into this video, Once Upon A December also has a couple of beautiful lines too! I really like the lyrics of Speechless too, even if that is partially due to how perfectly they match the lips movements x)

    My knowledge about Italian Disney songs might be limited but here are mine:
    1. Perdi ciò che tu hai più amato
    2. Ogni cosa che ho, anche quella più bella (Weirdly I prefer Naomi sings this line XD)
    3. Vuoi rinchiudermi? Tanto non m’importa
    There is a lot more but these 3 are memorable to me
    I really love this kind of video. I really love if the language does not follow English lyrics directly. As a bonus, it is nice to see that Italian really takes lip-sync seriously XD

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      About Naomi, I must say that I've got a problem with her pronunciation: at the beginning I was super-hyped because I heard a foreign accent here and there and though they had called a native Arabic speaker to voice Jasmine....but then I realised she was Italian, and I still can't understand how comes that she speaks so weirdly x)

    • @arjunabetta4572
      @arjunabetta4572 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      FlamSparks Does her native dialect influence on how she pronounces the words? I heard that regional dialects (or languages?) in Italy are quite diverse and sometimes they are different than Standard Italian.

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What you heard about local Italian languages is true, and surely this must have something to do with her pronunciation, still...the problem is exactly that I'm not even listening any Neapolitan accent, it's just...a weird accent I wouldn't connect to any local Italian language. That's why it has me so confused.

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much ^^ I must say though that Italian lyrics have been truly good only in the last 20 years, when the lyricist last changed. The one we have now pays *a lot* of attention to lip-sync and loves to find creative and often poetic solutions to make it work, while playing often elegantly with the language (Moana and Frozen 2 are two sad exceptions, unfortunately). Before her, Italian lyricists used not to give a damn about lip-sync and the lyrics they put together were often cheap, simplistic and overall poor. Exceptions to this situation are very few before 2000s :/

      @@FlamSparks una bella interpretazione, a me non era venuta in mente... in realtà, il problema non ce l'ho con l'idea di "farsi guidare dal cuore", che nel contesto ci sta tutta, è più quell' "un po' " buttato lì per rientrare con le sillabe che non mi va giù...

      Eeeh, la Brancucci fa un lavoro eccezionale sul labiale e trova soluzioni spesso ingegnose per seguirlo e io non le riconoscerò mai abbastanza meriti per questo, ma ha una fissa con gli "un po'" e gli "ormai" che sono un po' tanto onnipresenti, soprattutto perché sono parole semplici da infilare dove servono poche sillabe, con una consonante labiale prima di una vocale lunga

    J'adore ce type de vidéo ^_^ ça m'a fait réfléchir à ce que je choisirais comme paroles en français 🤔 Mes préférés seraient surement dans "Honor to us all", le "Destinée, sois câline, avec ces jolies poupées de chine, Mandarines à la peau opaline" que je trouve brillant de double-sens et de beauté, ou dans "Out there", la fin avec les multiples sens de "tour" :) J'aime aussi bien dans "Let it go" le "mes pensées sont des fleurs de cristal gelées", puisque les pensées sont aussi un type de fleurs, donc y faire référence de façon aussi naturelle est très beau je trouve ^^
    Quant aux paroles italiennes, j'aime beaucoup les exemples choisis, surtout Jasmine (la première fois que j'ai écouté cette chanson en italien, ce passage m'avait marquée donc je suis contente de le trouver ici) et Tarzan (même si je trouve ça assez étrange de mettre des paroles aussi positives sur l'amour au moment ou la panthère s'apprête à tuer un bébé gorille x) ) :)

    • @FlamSparks

      J'ai considéré l'idée de faire une vidéo pour le français, mais....les paroles françaises sont les plus belles que j'ai jamais lu parmi mes langues. Il saurait si difficile de sélectionner seulement quelque passages T^T
      Les chansons de Tarzan ont de passages qui sont très beaux en italien....mais la plus part est complètement déplacée x) Par example, tout le refrain de la chanson "Son of man" parle en italien d'être père... *SÉRIEUSEMENT* *?!* > lyricstranslate.com/en/figlio-di-un-uomo-son-man-son-man.html
      D'ailleurs, peux je profiter de toi à nouveau pour controller une traduction en français, s'il te plaît ? > th-cam.com/video/66NnnRItCqs/w-d-xo.html

      @@FlamSparks Avec plaisir ^^
      Alors déjà, je viens d'apprendre que le mot "sempervirent" existe, et c'est beaucoup plus simple que "éternellement vert", donc je prends xD
      * "Quand la neige chute de toutes parts/de tous côtés", j'hésite entre les deux. A toi de voir ce qui te convient :)
      * "Beaucoup de gel et de vents glaciaux", glacial a un pluriel en -aux. Les quelques exceptions sont ici : fr.wiktionary.org/wiki/-als
      * "Trois pareils hivers viendront" plutôt que "hivers pareils. J'ai pas de justification pour ça, l'ordre nom-adjectif est assez aléatoire ^^
      * "Sans aucun été entre eux", été=masculin ;)
      * "…le soleil qui s’assombri". "Le soleil s'assombrit" crée une sorte de rupture dans le récit. C'est comme si au milieu d'une description, il y avait une action :)
