    OH MY GOD. This is the best translation from the English I have heard. It's an almost completely different song, but the meaning is intact, the lyrics make sense, they match with the animation, and they are clever. Lucky Italian people.

      Apam Merlo Well, actually for an Italian these lyrics are more meaningful for an adult public than for a younger public. I really can't explain why, but during this song at the movie theatre all us adults were caught by them while the kids were just like "OK, nice music..."

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  9 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      Oscar Fausto Pelosi Yet I think that this sort of lyrics helps kids to develop a sense of beauty. They might not catch it at first, but with time, it will grow up with them. It might not be fundamental, it might not be crucial, but I think it will definitely help.

    1:25 The translation for: Da oggi il freddo è casa mia (Starting from today the cold is my home) I think this is perfect for this scene because in a way not only the cold as her surrounding have become her home but also the cold within her. Io ho fatto un corso di doppiaggio e posso assicurarvi che è una cosa tutt'altro che semplice, ci sono veramente tante cose da tenere a mente, la fedeltà all'originale è la prima ma bisogna fare attenzione che in Italiano non vengano forzature e soprattutto nelle canzoni la musicalità e il labiale sono d'obbligo!

    Ha del paradossale vedere come gli americani, e gli stranieri in generale, sono dell'idea che il testo della versione italiana sia decisamente meglio di quello inglese, mentre gli italiani, come al solito, non fanno altro che lamentarsi, in questo caso di quanto sia diversa dalla versione originale... e parla una persona che si vede il 95% della roba in inglese. A parte che è sempre stato così, è quasi impossibile utilizzare le stesse parole della versione inglese e rendere al contempo orecchiabile la canzone... ma poi non so se avete letto le parole del testo originale, si è azzeccato e funziona, ma quello italiano è decisamente più potente e profondo... dai su un minimo di obbiettività.
    Poi la voce della Autieri è un altro discorso, può piacere o no (a me non fa impazzire, ma è una bella voce), ma cazzo non rompete le palle sul testo perché non ce n'è proprio motivo.

    I really love it and do you know why? Because it isn’t repetitive. In other versions, some lines are repeated continuously, for example in English is “Let it go... let it go...” or in French it is “Liberèe, delivrèe... liberèe, delivrèe...” and so on, whereas in Italian the only two words repeated more than once are “Da oggi...” and “D’ora in poi...” but the sentences are different in every line and the title appears only once at the end. Us italian people may have a lot of problems and flaws, but our language (Italian) has something special, our words and sounds have something more, something deeper than others and I’m really proud of this!

Sono un italo australiano e appartengo completamente ad entrambi lingue e devo dire che l'italiano presta piu' alla sincerita' della storia..che e' poi, classica in natura. Lyrics-wise this is the best version I have heard! It's incredibly powerful and I think it grasps the meaning of the original amazingly. This is "interpretation" in the best and truest sense of the word and I just love the poetic licences the Italian translator takes. :) It all goes to show how you can use sometimes totally different words and still convey the same meaning. Also, Italian just sounds so beautiful.

    I just realized what bugged me about the English version. Elsa says she's free before she runs up the bridge. In the Italian version she says it afterwards when she realizes what she just accomplished and she steps down forcefully to really bring her power to full swing. That makes more sense.

    • @random7509
      @random7509 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      In English she says it at the perfect timing, right as she's letting everything go and realizing she can just bust out her powers freely leading her to create the bridge and then the castle. The original lyrics always have more detailed meaning than translations.

      Elizabeth Grace è una cosa che ho notato anche io,ma a pensarci bene...Elsa non ha mai avuto una vera infanzia,no? Anche in inglese è abbastanza “infantile” (per esempio quando dice “it’s funny how some distance,makes everything seems small.”) ma oltre ad avere un grande significato dietro,mostrano anche la vera personalità di Elsa. Che è praticamente ancora una bambina dentro,poiché è dovuta crescere troppo in fretta a causa dei poteri. Comunque,anche io preferisco la versione originale!

Even though I'm not a fan of the Italian language, I have to admit that it's made to be sung.

      Asia B. Penso che però faccia anche molto effetto il fatto che sia una lingua straniera. Anch’io sentendo una traduzione francese è più facile che la trovi bella perché “esotica”. Niente da criticare però ai traduttori. Soprattutto con la musica, deve davvero essere un lavoraccio evitare che il tutto sembri forzato, viste tutte le variabili.

    • @leongano
      @leongano 11 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Non è male, ma nella versione originale è di qualità decisamente migliore IMHO. Beh ma cosa ti aspetti quando "Let it go, let it go" diventa "D'ora in poi lascerò/troverò; Io lo so, sì, lo so"?! ._. Sono così rari (quasi nessuno) i casi in cui i doppiatori dei personaggi siano anche quelli che cantano che potrebbero direttamente lasciare le canzoni in lingua originale. Non è che faccia male un po' d'inglese, soprattutto in un paese ignorante come il nostro.

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  11 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      leongano sai una cosa? io, invece, proprio quel "let it go" ti vado a contestare. Per carità, riconosco che sia una bella trovata. Mi piace quel gioco che fanno intorno al suo doppio significato "lascia correre" e "lascialo andare", riferito al potere, è stata una bella pensata. Ma devo dire che alla quinta volta, diventa un filino ripetitivo, alla dodicesima diventa esasperante.
      Riprendendo poi proprio i passaggi che hai citato tu, contro l'inglese "lascialo andare, lascialo andare (perché qui, questo è il suo significato)/non riesco più a trattenerlo" (te lo metto in italiano non perché ritenga che tu non sappia l'inglese, anzi! ma per esporre il suo significato nudo e crudo) metterci invece "d'ora in poi lascerò che il cuore mi guidi un po'", ha tutta un'altra poesia e un'altra intensità.
      Io, in generale, trovo che questa canzone, in inglese, sia alquanto superficiale e spesso con un significato abbastanza scarno (ciò non significa che non abbia passaggi che apprezzi!).
      Poi sono d'accordo con te che quei "io lo so, sì, lo so" e i successivi "perché poi, perché poi" potessero anche essere resi un po' meglio, ma prendi il ritornello completo "io lo so, come il sole tramonterò, perché poi all'alba sorgerò". è una frase poeticamente e figurativamente completa, contro un più infelice (anche se comunque bellino) "and I'll rise like the break of dawn", che però poi viene relativamente demolito da un ben poco poetico (nonché totalmente scollegato dal contesto che lo circonda) "that perfect girl is gone".
      Per concludere, ti do assolutamente ragione sul fatto che all'Italia, un po' più di inglese, non farebbe poi così male. Per questo film non sarebbe certo stato possibile, dato che è un musical, interamente costruito sulle canzoni (e, a differenza di altri film, è obbligatorio tradurre le canzoni), ma per un film come Ribelle, aver tenuto le canzoni in inglese, benché preferisca in larga misura la versione italiana a quella inglese, non sarebbe stato drammatico, e su alcuni film di quel genere (ma non su tutti), tenere le canzoni in inglese non sarebbe affatto male.

    • @The97Pasquale2
      @The97Pasquale2 11 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      ***** leongano Concordo pienamente con FlamSparks... Però c'è da considerare anche un altra cosa: in italiano non credo ci siano molte parole che insieme formano tre sillabe e l'accento della frase cade sull'ultima sillaba... Inoltre le parole del verso successivo devono rimare con l'ultimo (che il cuore mi guidi un po' - e da oggi cambierò / la mia vera identità - per sempre in libertà). Quindi sono stati costretti ad utilizzare parole diverse tra un ritornello e l'altro.

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  11 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      ***** leongano sì, beh, ho lasciato da parte tutto il non irrilevante discorso sul sincronismo labiale, la sillabazione, il rimario e quant'altro, semplicemente perché mi ci sarebbe voluta un'altra mezza vita a scrivere la mia al riguardo, e mi pare di aver già scritto un papiro sufficientemente lungo xD
      Però (per la vostra gioia) vorrei citare un esempio. La versione tedesca, che vanta una cantante strepitosa, che però trovo abbia fatto un lavoro migliore con la versione olandese, ha una bella esecuzione, ma si è tenuta molto fedele al testo inglese, e questo l'ha distrutta. Il sincronismo labiale è terrificante e le frasi sono assolutamente vuote, semplicemente tradotte dall'inglese. E devo dire che questo mi ha parecchio deluso, visto che di solito la versione tedesca riesce a farsi apprezzare. E come quella, moltissime altre versioni si sono svuotate solo perché volevano restare fedeli all'originale, e questo non l'ho apprezzato molto.....

    • @leongano
      @leongano 11 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Intanto grazie per la tua risposta "intellettuale" e decisamente ampia ed esaustiva. Purtroppo non è cosa comune sul tubo trovare persone cerebrodotate né tantomeno persone con buone conoscenze disposte a condividerle e a fare una sana discussione costruttiva. Ma no, è molto più facile offendere e lanciare palle di cacca, come farebbero delle scimmie. Ho letto tutto e apprezzo davvero il fatto che tu abbia dedicato tempo a rispondermi :)
      Tornando sull'argomento: concordo sul fatto che una canzone non si tratti solo di musica né tantomeno di testo, quindi è giusto che la traduzione non sia letterale, ma che faccia in modo si mantenga un buon sincronismo labiale e soprattutto una musicalità. E concordo che nella fattispecie la versione italiana è più poetica e profonda, per quanto possa esserlo. Però mi dà sempre noia quando nel lavoro di traduzione si sconvolge totalmente il significato dell'originale, anche in questo caso preciso: come hai già appuntato, è pensato molto bene il gioco basato sulla duplicità del significato di "Let it go". E' un po' la chiave di tutto il film, e perderlo così per strada non mi piace onestamente.
      Esempio a caso: in Mulan vuoi mettere la versione italiana con "I'll make a man out of you"? E' completamente stravolta. Il "Mysterious as the dark side of the moon" diventa "Quell'uomo sarai che adesso non sei tu".
      In generale io sarei per mantenere sempre la versione originale, anche per il sopracitato fatto che non fa male l'inglese, in particolar modo a chi non lo conosce affatto. Forse sono esagerato ma io sarei per mandare gli interi film d'animazione in lingua originale.
      Comunque grazie ancora per la condivisione così generosa, ci vorrebbero più persone così sul tubo (e non solo)

    I have no words to describe how much I LOVE Lorena Brancucci’s work in lyrics and translation for songs especially with this one, it’s amazing how she was able to 1.- Keep thoughtful, beautiful and poetic lyrics that manage to be different but stay true to the original ones 2.- Be in TOTAL sync with the lip movements of Elsa during the WHOLE song in both consonants and vowels 3.- Have very few hyperbatons during the whole 3 minutes that this song lasts. She is my inspiration to become a professional lyricist for dubbing but this time for Latin America and I know that with practice I will reach someday the level that she’s got.

    La gente italiana non capisce che non è possibile tradurre una canzone. Prima di tutto è un cazzo di cartone, quindi "L'originale" come dite voi non esiste nel vero senso della parola, perchè sono tutti comunque doppiati. Inoltre non ha senso cercare di tradurre più fedelmente possibile il significato dell'"originale", poichè ne verrebbero fuori mille problematiche, come quello di far corrispondere i labbiali e nello stesso momento fare in modo che la versione italiana risulti dello stesso valore espressivo di quella inglese, cosa impossibile se il testo originale è stato concepito IN INGLESE e dunque sfruttandone le sue peculiarietà espressive al massimo, mentre il testo in italiano avrebbe fatto cagare siccome risulterebbe un adattamento ristretto e tutt'altro che libero di un significato fatto per essere espresso in un'altra lingua, (si perchè cari miei se non lo sapete il significato non sempre non è dipendente dalla lingua, in inglese LET IT GO non lo traduci senza altararlo). Praticamente è un casino e ne sarebbe venuto fuori una merda. Meglio fare tabula rasa, scrivere con la più completa libertà espressiva in Italiano mantenendo giusto il senso generale e scrivendo qualcosa che funzioni come è stato fatto. O NO???!!!

    Ciao, sono un'italiana a cui PIACE questa versione! : D
    E mi piace proprio perchè non segue paro paro il testo inglese... pur mantenendo lo stesso significato, se non approfondendolo. E' risaputo che la lingua italiana ha più sfumature di forse qualsiasi altra in europa (e basta aprire un vocabolario di latino per capirlo!), e questa cosa conferisce alle canzoni sempre un "che" in più , secondo me.
    Per questo, nonostante non sia perfetta, mi piace molto: Serena è davvero fantastica, non ha la classica voce a Barbie che Idina invece possiede. Molto bella, per carità, ma le voci della disney rischiano di assomigliarsi tutte. La Autieri ha decisamente la voce per la regina del ghiaccio :)

    i think in some points, the lirycs are better than the english one, yes, of course, they could be more smilar, but i think we have to enjoy this version.
    Is wonderful and poetic.
    All of the people who have comment, i think they aren't transaltors, and maybe they don't know that the version have to respect the labial, even if sometimes the transation isn't the same than the original. So i think, at all this is a good job, not perfect, of course, but good, 'cause Serena is a fantastic singer and the lirycs are good.

      Really? You love it?! Why? I think it's something annoying!!! I don't understand why "let it go, let it go" can't be translated as "lascerò, lascerò" instead of some words put together just to seem "cool"... ODIO PROFONDO!

    Ottimo lavoro davvero!!!! Complimenti!! ^^ sono contenta che la versione italiana venga apprezzata anche dalle persone di altri paesi =D ci da la misura di quanto possano essere bravi i nostri traduttori e i nostri cantanti/attori ^^ ancora complimenti!!!

    Andrò controtendenza, ma la versione italiana mi sembra un po' "altalenante"...cioè, mi pare che Serena Autieri cambi modo di cantare molto spesso durante la canzone, varia da Simona Peroni ad Anna Oxa....(un momento perfetto per ciò che intendo è la "trasformazione" della voce tra 01:00 e 01:14).

      Ma nonostante questo ,rimane comunque una bellissima canzone ,no? Specie per il suo contenuto .

      Vivi Da Mica ho parlato del contenuto, ci mancherebbe! Io parlavo del modo in cui veniva cantata.

      Ah ,bè in questo caso sono d'accordo : ho provato a metterla a confronto con la versione in inglese e devo dire che è meno ''altalenante", anche se , modestamente , trovo che la versione italiana sia la migliore .
