I was 10 yrs old when this bike was produced and it was by far the best looking over the very many years I was a huge fan of motocross. Thinking of restoring one... might just do it
my biggest regret is having to sell my 05 450 brought it from the desert/tracks in cali to the woods over the 15+ years of having it . it worked awesome all around even on the tight single track in woods
Head pipe is showing signs it's running lean on the top, pull that plug I bet it's a tad grey. Could be the fuel, probably jetted for California crap 91...
@AUSTIN_457 yea love the 08 450s loved my 02 it ripped. So did the 06 250r. I do like the dual exhaust looks so Good imo. But definitely wouldn't mind an 08 450r. The market is so f'd right now tho can't even give my Harley away and it's an absolute Monster of a dyna beautiful bike motor work suspension brakes all that it rips only 9k miles as well. I'm definitely not gonna sell it for nothing. Maybe I'll find a 450 I can trade it for.
riding an 05 450 to this day.. can't make myself buy a new one because there is nothing wrong with mine.. its a great bike.. love it.
Still got my 07 crf450, awesome machine

Very capable.
Literally convinced me to keep my 2006 KX250F, nothing wrong with it, runs good, easy starts, and now I’m probably gonna hold off buying a new bike
The chassis is amazing on that bike
Oops I meant the 05
I never grew out of the 2000’s-era of bikes. Love these oldies. The old school 450 power is like baby bear’s porridge, just right.
Watched Glen race Supercross in Perth, loved the Thumper Nats fully worked trail bikes.
Iv had alot of crfs. All way up to a 16. My fave was my 05. Such a amazing bike
Had my 03 Crf450r since new, loved it. Rode a Husqvarna FX450 22, never looked back !!!
Still running my '08 Kawi 450! It does all I need... Great video!
I have my original 2002 crf 450 and still ride it and it’s as good as any modern bike that’s out there 👌
@onlygazza yea loved my 02 crf450r. Definitely in the market for another used 450 again time to get off this Harley and back to dirt.

Gotta find the old radiator lowering kit... its night and day!! good vid bud
great bike, I loved mine but was tired of the constant valve issues, to be fair I put A LOT of hours on it
Loved mine.....really regret selling it and my 07 rm 250
I had one new in '05, was a fine bike, they have not changed all that much when it comes to being on the track
I'd rip one in 2024.
My dad has an 06. Hes 61
