Thank you so much for these tips and words of wisdom. I myself am a learner car driver now although I do have "conscious unconscious competence" 😉 while riding a motorbike, I feel I like I'll never be able to master the art of driving a car. And like you said, I really don't "think" while riding my motorbike... I just guide my mind where I have to be and my body just does everything, auto-mode 😊. I guess it just takes time for everything to get easy. Cheers from India 🙏😊
I've been driving for yrs still feel like a have anxiety. Because I have had few accidents that weren't my fault. But I'm still fearful driving. I'm here in the United States.
It's perfectly logical that the crashes caused the anxiety and that's why it's not correct. That's a conscious conclusion to an unconscious problem. If you know why you have a problem then you no longer have it so if thinking about those crashes doesn't fix it then they're not the cause. This is where people waste hours chasing things in therapy - they're going after the wrong thing!

I never knew it was as simple as that! - thank you!
Driving seems very hard. Which is why I only travel to Europe and not in the USA. I like small towns but am afraid to drive.
