Dr. S.M. Lockridge - Daring to Live For Christ - Full Sermon

I am excited to introduce a new series of messages from the late and great S.M. Lockridge who is featured quite often on my channel.
I hear from people quite often that wish there were more sermons available on-line from this mighty man of God. Well, in this series, I am happy to introduce three never-before-heard sermons from brother Lockridge.

Dr. Lockridge keeps popping up on my TH-cam feed so I watched one in May 2024 and became hooked. Also watched one about WHO IS DR. S.M. LOCKRIDGE. Very interesting and thoroughly enjoy his wisdom and understanding of the scriptures.

S.M. Lockridge preached a revival at our church in Oxnard, CA back in the 1970's and I have been a fan ever since. I don't know of too many sermons you can listen to over and over again. "The Lordship of Jesus Christ" is my favorite. My former pastor from back then recently recalled that he felt compelled to ask Dr. Lockwood to preach the revival even though he was an unknown young pastor of a very white church 100 miles away and Dr. Lockridge was very well known. Our pastor was surprised when Dr. Lockwood readily accepted. 50 some years later, I still fondly remember his sermons and even the singer he brought along. "Balm in Gilead" is still a favorite song of mine. I do have to say the pews were not so white during the revival. It was great to have church not being so segregated as congregations tend to be to the present. Some day that won't be the case.
