@@Vin38279 ok then base then even if you base the shitty sequels to the already established lore comics movies everything it still make no god damn sense and from a writers stand point its just all around bad story telling
Well they don't have a DISNEY budget so I'm sure it is VERY VERY CHEAP to film in a wooded area and easily to make work in story line. They all look great to me however
Awesome job guys! It's great to see more interest in developing fanfilms set during the Old Republic Era. I especially liked Chrissie Chanel as Senya. Such a tragic story...way to put the feels in the viewers. And that last duel was great in terms of foreshadowing for the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion. Well done indeed. To Aaron Liburd who portrayed the Jedi Master Atticus, I gotta say you really portrayed the feelings of despair that the Jedi must have been feeling in that era quite well. The duel really made it look like he was backed into a terrible corner. Good portrayal. I also gotta thank the director Alex Harrison continuing to produce high quality fan films. The Fall of the Jedi fanfilm was great as well. Keep up the great work you just might become the most experienced Director in the Star Wars fanfilm arena. I will be sharing the link of this to all my friends that are KOTOR & SWTOR fans. Great job to the crew and hopefully this project will get the attention it deserves. May the Force be with you all!
The Star Wars Legacy will live on through excellent FanFilms like this one. Disney is too drunk with power to give us this kind of quality. The Force will be with you ...........always.
YES YES YES this was absolutely amazing! I have been anticipating this for a while and I am most definitely not disappointed! Fabulous work, bravo to all of you (special wink to Nat ;) ) and thank you so much.
One of the most impressive Star Wars fan films I've ever seen. Not because of trivial things like costumes or CGI. This had real emotion, intelligent writing, brutal lightsaber fights that didn't go on forever and blended smoothly into the story, and a moving message. THAT is what makes a film. There isn't endless conflict in this fan film--mostly story and heavy dialog. It's beautiful.
I enjoy these Star Wars films they keep me wanting more seeing how many started out before there is a planet that prevents Jedi and Sith from using force power do you know what the name Of it is?
Here is another for you question how does a planet suppress use of force powers? in a theory the force might be powerful enough to destroy a planet much like the death star can. many want such power the same as the one called Aberoth her power is way beyond Jedi and Sith. Luke went up against Aberoth he survived somehow but she will return. because Aberoth is forever she will not stop her evil ways. we can only hope another being can stop her for good or the galaxy will be doomed.
More than most other story arcs we've seen come from anywhere else, The "Eternal Empire" arcs in SWTOR carry the Star Wars lore into new territory, where good and evil are not defined by political stance or brand loyalty, by rather by the merit and causality of one's choices and deeds. Great work, I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future :)
I have always suspected that Star Wars was about one family bloodline. 3 paths...1 to power, 1 of knowledge, and 1 discarded for it brings nothing but death with only a thought. All exist in this one bloodline...but one can choose only one discipline
My only advice would be to use quicker cuts between lines in the Diageo ugh and quicker and when some characters react there is a lot of long empty space. One other thing is if the combats don't have speech, perhaps speed them up slightly to show the power of the fights Really enjoyed this though good job
Very constructive criticism! I agree with both points. The only other thing I would add is to work on the blocking of characters during long monologues. It's okay to have them facing each other when they begin speaking but maybe have them take steps away in anger, fear and make their way back naturally throughout the dialogue. Establish a shot of hands clinching her knees during the panic attack or other small actions that break up the longer shots and establish the feeling. Just picky suggestions but the film is awesome. Keep it up.
This is a great fan film. It reminds me a bit of Hirokin: The Last Samurai from 2012. The cast all gave good performances. Outstanding visual storytelling. Good story. Good visual effects. Good soundtrack. A passionately well made fan film. One of the best Star Wars fan films in years.
Considering how much I love the SWTOR story and KoTFE/KotET, I loved this so much! :D Nice job! If only Valkorion had blue eyes, because thats their original eye colour, it'd be even more awesome!
Awesome! Especially love the white out eyebrows! Hehe....edit...aww second look and they are white stripes above her eyebrows...my bad, sorry! Great job regardless! :) LOVE STARWARS! Even fan made! Love love love it-can't get enough!
I liked it. The editing was good the light saber sounds were a little off though (but thats not important). It had a good story and was probably the best fan film i have seen yet. In other words, Good Job, Nice Work, And I Hope To See Another One Of These
I don't like to be negative but goddamn that line delivery at 19:52 was so bad, kind of like asking a highschool student to read something ''menacingly''.
Seriously Ben! Obviously you haven't seen the masterpiece that is Darth Maul: Apprentice. By far the best SciFi fan film from any saga! The DM:A story was gripping and kept you into it throughout the film while this had me sleeping at multiple times. DM:A also had much better choreographed fight scenes. DM:A had over 1 million views within it's first 2 months while this being out for 3 weeks only has 17.1k views at the time of this post. No sir, while I will admit the actress playing Senya did an outstanding job, and I commend her performance, the other actors really needed more work and were uninteresting. All around, this is a nice attempt at the Old Republic but to say this is the best fan film ever?? Not even close!
I thought it was really cool how there was a laundry room on the ship and that’s where the stand-off was at the end... my family always fights in the laundry room, too.
Where is Senya Tirall's throwing and using a telescoping lightsaber pike used in Betrayed? Maybe this is in another timeline? I might be going crazy by being a free to play on SWTOR. But good fanfilm
The poor makeup, costumes, dialogue/monologue, non-dynamic camera work and pacing may have something to do with it my friend. To be sure you gotta admire the fact they actually completed a project they wanted to do.
Senya/kids: Great portrayal of Senya. The kid actors were great too! Valkorian: Valkorian's costume was very lacking. It would not have hurt to shell out a couple thousand on an accurate replica. Also, the actor didn't quite have the voice, face, and perhaps even skin tone to pull off a realistic Valky. If he'd had the voice and costume skin tone wouldn't have mattered very much, but lack of all three hurts the character portrayal. The actor should have also had a much, much thicker beard, dyed grey/white if necessary. Otherwise the actor did a decent job with his lines and facial expressions, so I gotta give him credit for that. Arcann: A little too far departed from the Arcann I'm familiar with. His voice was too different, and Arcann usually doesn't express anger in his voice as much as seething hatred. Like Valkorian, his costume was lacking. The actor's portrayal of the character was alright though. Most of the other actors were great, but this film gets a 2.5/5 from me
I'm not gonna lie I have no idea what the story is about, lol. What happened to the girl in the arena? What makes her sons any different from the mother? How did she abandon her daughter in the sons eyes? Who were those people in the cave(Other than random Jedi/Sith)? Why did they capture the daughter? What happened to the emperor? I wish there was less prose and more explanation of what was actually happening in the long dialogue scenes.
I was hoping to find something that delved deeper into the background of the Eternal family. So glad this came up on my feed by chance. A tradegy they became by Valkorion's own doing. I admit, I feel bad for Vaylin and it took me a second playthrough, on my Hunter of all things.
Good job, all! The writing was excellent and the acting was on point. Sound FX need work and the choreography could be better but, otherwise, everything really worked. It was much better than TLJ but, really, that's kind of a low bar, lol. The brother(s) is HOT!!!
Makes me want to make a star wars fan film but I have no friends that know as much about Star wars as i do so sadly I can't and also I dont have really good camra men and good camras but anyways great work on this keep it up.
the sword fights are almost movie quality, how did you animate the shuttle sequence at the end? where did you get the initial planet orbit image? really nice setting did you create that from scratch or used stock content? Deviant Art?

Wich lightsabers did you use? I want to do a fanfilm and I thing whithe lightsabers would be best to make effect on them. But I can't find products like this on the Internet. Where have you brought your lightsabers. Would be nice if you have a product link (for example to amazon) So sorry for my level of speaking 😂👍 And I look forward to hearing from you 👍 Thanks
The main sabers were all handmade using custom electronics designed by me :) Then the effect we put ontop of them was using the VideoCopilot Plugin called 'Saber'
Ima start saying that: " the force did it , it wasn't me " 😂😂
Or, better yet, claim that it's accidental magic. When confronted, just say "You muggles wouldn't understand."
Its kinda sad that fan films are beating the billion dollar budget blockbusters in story, passion and acting lol. Good job dude.
Antonius..did u honestly say the"acting" was good? Lol
Saying what I said...it was a good job though..keep up the good work my friend. Respect.
Lmao acting was average and below at best. Choreo was alright, i literally could ve done better. Music was cool i guess, animation was neat
Antonius Maximus i disagree the sequels aren’t bad, we only say they are because we’re comparing them to the other Star Wars movies
@@Vin38279 ok then base then even if you base the shitty sequels to the already established lore comics movies everything it still make no god damn sense and from a writers stand point its just all around bad story telling
I have never seen one Star Wars fan film that isn’t based in a forest
look dark legacy
There are many. I have seen more than 10
Deserts and Tundra are hard, OK.
They can't really do sci fi cities on a low budget and its hard to get permission to build on a random road side desert
Well they don't have a DISNEY budget so I'm sure it is VERY VERY CHEAP to film in a wooded area and easily to make work in story line. They all look great to me however

Whoever did the CGI on this did amazing.
Thankyou!
Big fan of the Star Wars EU(well, Legends now -_-), and you guys NAILED this. Really did The Old Republic justice. Well done.

Great work guys, thanks for making me a part of this x
You were amazing! Thanks for giving your all for this production. I really enjoyed it.
You were an awesome Senya :D Everything I imagined her to be.

did Obi-Wan tell you in Jedi History Class?
Amazing job! The fact that you are not a film director is beyond me
A -major- film director I meant
You guys are definitely better than Disney
Now this... this is Star Wars right here.
The true spirit of Star Wars lives on..
Yet another great short film you guys! I fell in love with fall of the jedi, and this is just as good if not better! well done!
I gotta say, this film was actually very well made. Some slight differences to classical Star Wars fan films, but they work beautifully.

Djedi Academy That why people didn't like KOTFE. It deviated from SW theme way too much. Same for the new trilogy. One big hot mess...

the main girl chrissie channel did a really good job in this short, i think she could really make it as an actor . good job ms Channel
this had such great story telling, fighting, character, and depth!

Amazing film - well done everyone! 👏🏼🤗
A beautiful vision. Wonderful acting.

What exactly happened here ?
Duncan Wynn Jr I'm a little lost too. The writing seemed a bit off. And the characters felt kinda misconstrued.
Zichi Hammertail it's going more in-depth then the trialer, I guess.

great job, looking forward to more

I had to Admit, I'm Impressed to me, the Old Republic should be made Officially Canon
Only reason that it's Canon is because of the high Republic trilogy we're getting soon over here at lucasfilm
The Old Republic is a really fun game. And this expansion was my favorite part.
this is better than the shit disney is making
lxztbxy I totally second that.
And on a Burger King/KFC budget.
Disney had the fortune of a European nation, and look at the
mess they made.
Amazing how the Nexel corporation has managed to sell their shelf solutions even in another galaxy.
Marvelous fan film and excellent acting !

I absolutely love this and the lightsaber sounds more correct IMO
seriously, that lightsaber sound.... it's dangerous idk it hits me
This movie is awesome🙌
The only problem of this is the lightsaber dueling and the acting but everything is fine
Nice work, I enjoyed this look into the past :)

Same. Though I already knew Vaylin's story was tragic, I'm getting such a different feel by playing it as a Sith Warrior.
@@xylogram4168 I gave Vaylin no mercy on my DS Jedi Knight cause I assumed first time Vaylin was some rabid animal to be put down

Starkiller 007114 you don’t need a good camera to make a film! Most phones have a good enough camera on them!
Alex Harrison ok thanks
Alex Harrison alright tom
Why not we join forces to make one?Its pretty easy all we have to do is make our lightsaber props and all.
